Kevin’s Cold Comfort (Deleted Scene -Revised)

The training room at Fire Moth HQ had transformed into an arctic wasteland. Ice coated every surface, and Kevin stood at the center, relentlessly practicing, his breath visible in the frigid air. Icicles had formed on his eyelashes, but he refused to acknowledge them.

Gotta stay strong. Gotta stay cool… emotionally, I mean. She can't see me sweat…. (i mean your sweat is freezing soo..)

Footsteps crunched against the frost-covered floor. Kevin didn't turn.

"Kevin, you're pushing yourself way too hard!" Lee called out, stepping into the icy room. She held up a bento box. "I brought you some food."

Kevin stiffened, forcing his voice to remain casual. "Not needed."

"But it's got your favorite—"

Before she could finish, the bento box froze solid in her hands. A thick layer of frost spread across its surface.

Lee blinked. "...Uh. Onigiri-flavored… popsicles?"

Kevin's eye started blinking uncontrollably. The next thing he knew, he was flat on his back on the slippery ice. He looked super embarrassed.

He tried to rise with dignity—only to slip again, arms flailing as he struggled to regain control.

Lee pressed her lips together, barely containing a snicker. "...You, uh, need a hand there, Kevin?"

Face down against the frozen floor, Kevin exhaled sharply. "...Not. Needed."

Why.
