Those people would not dare to send their students to Hogwarts where there is a death threat with some strange beast like basilisk roaming around Hogwarts as if it was its own playground. She just has to wait till November 8th when Colin would be petrified.

In the coming day the girls from Slytherin are more on the silent side and they did not make any move which is actually strange. But the commotion of the heir of Slytherin caused by Draco is great enough to cover this point.

On November 8th, after the Quidditch match Harry was in the hospital wing and Colin was brought over because he was petrified. Daphne went to take a look but was stopped. Still she got the information she wanted.

On November 9th, she directly sent the letter to Rita Skeeter and the morning edition of paper has big news. 

"The chamber of secrets is open at Hogwarts again…"

Daphne did not directly solve the thing but gave more information that happened and also pulled out the old case about moaning myrtle. This is all to build up the interest in the people and also make the strike at the right time.

She has planned in well and the news quickly spread around. With the previous fame the news spread even faster. Also in the news it is mentioned that the case remained unsolved and it scold the incompetence of ministry of magic and the Aurors.

Originally the publishers don't want to publish this but with the insistence or Rita Skeeter and the spread of news to other countries they have no choice but to publish the news article just like that.

On the next day that is November 10th, Daphne sent out the next news about how a student at Hogwarts has actually discovered the clues about the origin of the beast. This also named the beast.

Yes the person that discovered the beast is Daphne herself and she gave a very reasonable explanation. Also she mocked the Aurors and the staff of the Hogwarts to not even notice the presence of this dangerous beast at Hogwarts.

The explanation she gave it very simple to the point where the illogical idiotic minds of these wizards and witches can understand the point clearly.

"I am Daphne Greengrass. I am a second year Slytherin student at Hogwarts. After seeing two incidents at Hogwarts and the past case about the same incident of opening of chamber of secrets I found that it might actually be done by a beast.

But which magical beast has this kind of power in the known magical beasts? This question made me think clearly and found a connection. The beast is related one of the founders of Hogwarts that is Salazar Slytherin.

This means it should be a creature like a serpent. Then which serpent like creature can petrify and kill people without poisoning them. After a moment of thought I found that it is the "Basilisk."

Basilisk is the only creature that can fit this condition. If the person looks into its eyes directly then he would die. Similarly if that person did not see its eyes directly but only saw the reflection he would be petrified.

This is the known information of basilisk. Based on the information and the cases at Hogwarts, moaning myrtle is not wearing glasses when she died. There are no poisoning or other marks on her body.

But Colin that was petrified actually saw the creature through the magic camera lens and the film that took the picture is burnt. But he is petrified and the cat Mrs. Norris was also petrified but there is a pool of water nearby.

This means it saw the reflection of the eye of the beast and petrified like that. These things proves that the beast is 80 percent sure of being basilisk because no other creature fits all the points.

As for how this kind of beast can move around without anyone noticing at Hogwarts is because the beast is using the sewer tunnels of Hogwarts to move around from place to place causing the trouble.

Those are the only things that are big enough to hold that kind of beast and let it appear at various places. Also the best proof of this matter is that most of the victims are found near the washrooms with the presence of water which is from the washrooms.

Based on my understanding it is very dangerous to stay at Hogwarts at this moment because the dangerous creature is on loose at this moment. The lives of the students are at risk.

This article immediately became a hit and the girl's gang of Slytherin became famous as well. The girls are really happy that they followed Daphne and pansy is happy that her name is mentioned as leader.

Her family got good response and her father increased her pocket money. But that is the positive side. The negative side is that all the parents started to clamor that they wanted to take their children back. 

They don't want to let their children stay in this kind of dangerous place. The ministry of magic and Aurors are ashamed that they could not find such a simple thing that even a kid can find out about.

This made them all to take action quickly to solve the case and wash off their shame. But before they can make a move another article was released on the next day which is still from Daphne's information about the heir of Slytherin.

"My thoughts about the heir of Slytherin that opened the chamber of secrets…." 

It is the title of the article.

"I don't think that the one that called himself as the heir of Slytherin is anything great but a coward.…"
