As she made her way to her car, she spotted Rachel waiting by the exit.
Diane didn't pause to acknowledge her, but she felt Rachel's eyes boring into her back.
Later that evening, Leon walked into the dining room of a five-star hotel.
Rachel was already seated, dressed in an elegant, figure-hugging red dress.
Some weird smile spread across her lips as she stood to greet him.
"Leon, darling," she purred, leaning in to kiss his cheek.
"I thought it would be lovely for us to spend some quality time together. Just us."
Leon offered a thin smile, taking his seat across from her.
"It's rare to see you so… accommodating, Rachel. What's the occasion?"
