Both Vermouth and Chu Mengxi were fully aware of their place in the power hierarchy.
They could handle Grade 3 curses with ease and even challenge a Grade 2 if they pushed themselves. But when it came to a Grade 1, or worse, a Special-Grade...
That was a different story.
A Special-Grade was nothing to trifle with. Both of them understood this perfectly.
Without mastering the flow of Ki within their bodies, they knew that taking on such a threat was suicidal. They didn't have the necessary strength. This was a task best left to someone like Broly.
Only Nobara seemed to lack a full understanding of the gravity of the situation. Without thinking, she tried to stop Broly.
"Wait—!"
But before she could reach him, Vermouth and Chu Mengxi grabbed her by the shoulders.
"Nobara, can you explain exactly what Sukuna is?"
"You... but he… ah! Fine…" Nobara stammered, struggling to articulate what she was witnessing.
Broly, on the other hand, didn't even bother to turn his head.
He completely ignored the three girls talking behind him. His focus was locked on the confrontation ahead: Sukuna, and beside him, a Special-Grade cursed spirit.
Sukuna observed Broly with a faint smile. Did this insignificant being really dare to challenge him? Him, Ryomen Sukuna?
However, before Sukuna could open his mouth to mock him, everything changed in an instant.
Broly had crossed the distance in a flash, and a massive hand was already in front of Sukuna's face.
The smile vanished from Sukuna's lips, replaced by an expression of pure shock.
There was no time to react.
With a simple motion, Broly grabbed Sukuna's face with one hand and hurled him like a ragdoll.
Sukuna's body was flung violently, slamming into a wall with a thunderous crash. Dust filled the area, but Sukuna's silhouette was clearly visible, buried in the rubble.
It was insulting. Sukuna, the King of Curses, treated like dead weight.
But Broly wasn't done yet.
Now, his attention shifted to the Special-Grade cursed spirit. Without hesitation, he clenched his fist and launched a punch.
The movement seemed slow, almost deliberate, as if time itself had paused in the eyes of the cursed spirit.
But just as the punch was about to connect…
Broly snapped his fingers.
Bang
The shockwave tore through everything in its path.
The cursed spirit, which had been whole just a second earlier, was now a lifeless corpse.
Its upper half had completely evaporated, disintegrated by the force of the energy. The lower half of its body dropped to the ground with a dull thud, lifeless.
But the destruction didn't end there.
The impact tore through multiple walls, obliterating everything in its wake. Finally, the energy collided with the barrier protecting the ordinary humans outside, shattering it effortlessly.
The force of the attack revealed the blue sky and white clouds above.
Although it seemed like this had taken a long time, it all happened in an instant.
The shockwaves, the sound of collapsing walls... it was simultaneous. For Nobara, Chu Mengxi, and Vermouth, it was nothing more than a deafening roar followed by silence.
Nobara stopped speaking.
Her mouth hung slightly open as her eyes darted around the scene. She glanced to her left, where Broly still stood, his fingers relaxed after snapping. Then to her right, where rubble and gaping holes in the walls marked the aftermath of the attack.
Finally, her gaze settled on what remained of the cursed spirit: a pair of immobile legs lying on the ground.
It was... unreal.
What... what the hell...?
[Ding! Members "The Legendary Super Saiyan," "I'm Not the Flower of the School," and "The Witch of a Thousand Faces" have completed the mission.]
[Rewards: The Legendary Super Saiyan: 700 points, I'm Not the Flower of the School: 150 points, The Witch of a Thousand Faces: 150 points.]
[Mission complete. You may leave the universe of "I Don't Know How to Do Anything" within 24 hours. Mandatory exit after 24 hours.]
Nobara stared at the screen, completely stunned. Her breathing quickened, and incoherent sounds escaped her lips.
She was on the verge of hysteria.
How was this possible?!
The Special-Grade curse—a monster so powerful, something even a Grade 1 sorcerer would hesitate to face...
Had been destroyed with a simple snap of the fingers?
No, it wasn't that the curse was weak. That thing wasn't weak at all.
But as she looked at Broly, her mind reeled.
The man standing before her was simply too strong.
"The mission is complete?" she murmured. "Just like that? That easily?"
Chu Mengxi let out a small laugh. "This is normal. It's just basic stuff for Broly. You'll get used to it eventually."
Vermouth nodded with a confident smile.
"Exactly. Just let Broly handle everything. We're not even on a level where we need to worry about him."
Their casual indifference was almost insulting. After witnessing Broly's feats against gods, what could possibly surprise them now?
Nobara glanced at the two women, then at Broly, before letting out a deep sigh.
There was nothing more she could say. She could only continue explaining Sukuna's story.
But just as she opened her mouth to speak, a low, sinister laugh echoed through the room.
"Kekeke…"
The voice was raspy, as though it came from the depths of hell.
"What are you doing? Stealing my prey?... That kind of action really irritates me."
Sukuna's figure emerged calmly from the rubble. He brushed the dust off his body with disdain, a twisted grin spreading across his face.
He stuffed his hands into his pockets and raised his gaze toward Broly with an air of superiority, as if nothing had happened.
But his eyes...
His eyes burned with cold rage—a fury he couldn't hide.
He had been humiliated.
He was the King of Curses.
And someone had dared to treat him like a mere obstacle.
"Stealing?" Broly lifted his head slightly, his eyes meeting Sukuna's. "And what are you planning to do about it?"
Sukuna let out a low, rough laugh.
"You killed my prey…" he said with disdain. "So you'll be my new prey. Replace it. What do you think?"
A smile spread across his face as he tilted his head slightly.
"Doesn't that seem fair?"
Suddenly, the air around them grew heavy, contaminated by Sukuna's murderous intent.
"You want to kill me?" Broly repeated with amusement.
He pointed at himself, raising an eyebrow.
"Are you sure you're not talking nonsense?"
The words struck a nerve in Sukuna. His smile faltered for a moment, and his eyes narrowed.
The murderous aura around him intensified, becoming almost tangible.
From her position, Nobara watched with her heart pounding. She tried to continue explaining Sukuna's nature, but her voice trembled uncontrollably.
