"You have to leave before everything goes according to plan because maybe tomorrow my dad will approve the certificate that Victoria will be your mate." Eden was stunned by what he heard, and Lior just continued speaking. "Your stepmother and Victoria's parents plan to blame everything that happened to you because I heard them earlier." The other alpha just stared at him; it took a minute for Eden to process everything. He would have expected his stepmother; he knew the lady was mad at him even though he didn't do anything wrong.
Eden just looked at the young man and said, "Whatever happens to me, you don't care about that anymore, so leave me alone." He was about to leave, but Lior grabbed him to stop him from walking. "I care because you're my mate." The alpha firmly tightened his grip on the latter's hand. Eden was surprised by his words, but he just didn't show it. "How can you say that? Do you have proof?" When he challenges the young man, when Lior says that he only got it from Nico, Eden will say that it is not true, but suddenly Lior shows the shoulder where there is a wound. "Would you think it's not a bite mark?" And the alpha directly pointed at the back of his neck, "that one on your neck; you thought I was blind, and I also clearly remembered that I'm the one who did it."
Eden unconsciously rubs his neck as he feels joy on his inner wolf that his mate recognises their bond, Lior continues to explain. "I won't let anyone be your mate except me." Eden tried to calm himself down, then glared at the male in front of him. "Fine, but if I leave, you don't even think that the pack will think of me as a rogue because I ran away from my sin," he explained. Even if he ran away now, his own father would reject him. Lior immediately thought of the possible way earlier, only for Eden to escape from the pack. "I already had a plan, as long as you are willing to come with me." Eden had no choice but to agree and let go of everything.
At night, Eden was alone in her room while waiting for Lior. As expected, when he returned home, his father scolded him. He saw Vanessa was smirking because her plan to evict Eden was a success so they could get his inheritance. He already finished packing his things that he needed, including his most treasured one, which is his photo with Mom before she died. Eden kept looking at the photo when the sound of the rock hitting his window caught his attention. He put the picture frame inside the bag, then stood up, and the young man went to open it where there was a small balcony. Lior was already waiting to catch him.
He grabbed a jar with some fake blood, and because his room was soundproof and no one could hear what was happening from inside, he quickly smashed the jar on the floor, and of course he scattered the rest of his things as if a rogue had entered and attacked. As Eden successfully finished with his stunts, he quickly got out of the balcony, leaving some traces of blood. Lior caught him perfectly; they both looked at each other before letting go of each other. "Remind me to take a shower later, when we arrive, where I can hide," Eden said, and the other nodded. They looked around before walking to where Lior's car was parked.
They both get in. Eden places his things behind the car, then fastens his seatbelt when he realises something. "Wait, how do we get past the pack guard?" He asked Lior, and the other male smiled and said. "I already planned it; don't worry," he said, giving Eden a black blanket to cover himself when they passed the gate of the pack. The other alpha quickly covered himself up and made sure that they couldn't see him as Lior drove up the car. They were about to pass the gate of the pack, making Eden's heart beat so fast because they might get caught, but Lior assured him that they wouldn't. The car stopped moving, and two alphas were standing in front. Lior lowered his car's window to greet Kayden, one of the pack guards, who approached him. "Good evening, Lior. Where are you going?" He asked the young man.
"Did my dad tell you that I'm going to a party today?" he said. The two pack guards looked at each other and then faced the younger alpha. "We just forgot, Lior; I'm sorry." The other answered and pulled over to the side of the road. Lior turns on the engine, then starts driving towards their destination. When they passed the border of the pack, Eden breathed a sigh of relief and then removed the blanket from his blanket. He noticed that the pack guards didn't even smell him. That's why he looked at Lior and was about to ask, but the alpha immediately spoke. "I sprayed some anti-hormone perfume on the blanket so they couldn't smell you," Lior answered, knowing that Eden would ask him. The alpha headed his way. "Where are we going now?"
The other alpha answered him without looking at him. Lior kept his eyes on the road to avoid the accident. "I brought a house far away from the pack, but it was surrounded by humans. Initially, I wanted to be close enough so that I could go to you right away whenever you need me, but they might catch you right away, so I decided that it's better for you to stay in the human world first, and I have plans when one day Alaric will replace dad as alpha leader. I will ask to leave the pack even if they object so that I can be with you." Eden looked away as he felt his cheeks getting hot and blushing. He never expected to get those words from Lior, knowing that they will always be enemies. That's why it's making his heart flutter. "Thank you," he muttered, enough for the other male to hear.
Lior smiled as his eyebrows rose. "So you accepting me as your mate now? He asked. Eden gasped at the young man's sudden question, so he just focused on looking at the road. "Do I have a choice? We already mated." He said as if angry, but Lior finds it cute. Just a few minutes later, they arrived as Lior parked the car in front of a small house. It's not as huge as they have on the pack, but Eden found it simple and enough for him to live, because he can't go back to school. Maybe he'll just build a business he can think of. They got out of the car. Eden was about to get his things, but Lior beat him. "Stop treating me like a princess." He complained, but Lior ignored him and started walking.
They went inside, and Eden was amazed by everything inside the house. "I chose the right one; in the meantime, you stay here first; if I need you, you can contact me with this phone; and by the way, did you leave your phone on the pack?" Eden nodded in response, then accepted the phone from Lior. "That's great! Then I'll go back to the pack." Lior places the bag on the floor and is about to leave, but Eden stops him. "You can go home tomorrow; sleep here," he muttered while looking at the floor to hide his shyness. Lior couldn't stop smiling. "Sure." They both settle down, then sleep on the same bed, unconsciously hugging each other. As the morning came, news about Eden being kidnapped spread like wildfire in the whole pack.
