KELLY THOMPSON'S POV
Several weeks passed until one evening as winter was just starting to settle in, I gathered our warriors for a final strategy meeting before the colder months fully enveloped us. The air was filled with a sense of urgency. “We need to ensure our defenses are solid before the snow makes travel difficult,” I said, scanning the faces in the dim light of our gathering.
Jason nodded. “Let’s reinforce our borders and ensure that our watch teams are well-stocked with supplies. We can’t risk being caught off guard again.”
Eden, seated beside me, raised his hand. “What about training? Shouldn’t we keep up our drills even in the winter? The Black Faes won’t rest just because it’s cold.”
“Absolutely. We’ll adapt our training to accommodate the weather,” I replied, feeling pride swell at his initiative. “We’ll focus on indoor drills and strategy discussions to keep our minds sharp.”
