Yeah, I know—sounds like a joke, right? Who names their kid after the Devil himself? My father, of course. Abaddon Morningstar, a deluded Satanist obsessed with bringing about the end times. And because of him, I spent my entire life in the shadow of a name I couldn’t escape.



Growing up in a house where rituals, blood, and darkness were commonplace, I became a pariah, bullied by everyone—family, friends, and even strangers. No one saw past the name. No one saw me. Instead, I was just "Lucifer," destined to inherit the dark legacy of some fallen god.



But then came Celeste. My half-little sister. The one bright spot in my miserable existence. She was everything I wasn’t—kind, innocent, pure. I swore to protect her from the nightmare that was our father. In a world where I was tainted by my own blood, Celeste was my only redemption.



But life never plays fair. One tragic night, everything changed. In a brutal twist of fate, my world shattered. My father’s madness escalated, leading to a catastrophe that stole everything I held dear. My sister, the only person I ever truly loved, was taken from me, leaving me with nothing but a bitter emptiness and the anger of an entire lifetime.



He said, "A devil shouldn't care about 'inferiors'."



...but I did. I cared. And that’s what made my fall so much more unforgivable in his eyes.



I swore vengeance on the man who tore my world apart. And I succeeded but at the cost of a runic ceremonial dagger plugged into my heart that drained the last bit of my life force. As the dagger crushed my heart, everything faded. Darkness. Silence. Then... nothing.



At first, I thought it was the end. Maybe I’d finally been claimed by the darkness my father worshipped. But then I awoke, gasping for breath in a new world.
