15. The Third Head
Anyone could be in dilemma by hearing that he was going to be sacrificed at the moment. However, there was no expression on Sambh. the cold air breezed as they touched down his face there. He was totally carefree.
"Really there is no expression on your face. "
Trimura spoke looking down on his cold smile that he was still playing with his own thoughts. Trimura thought to himself that his boss is one of the most feared people in the entire continent. Even the goddess of Golden city fears him. It's said that it has been a legend about his boss that how he fought with the first emperor destroying his entire reign.
" Are you really serious about your boss."
Sambh spoke laughing at him. "It seems that your boss likes to live in the darkness. Thats the reason the entire lands are feared. The truth is that you fear him because you have never seen him so far."
He paused and spoke laughing," once you will see him then you will also laugh by seeing his joker face."
Sambh burst with laughter. There was nothing that he could do but laughed in the terror. It was first time he found himself in the joy. As he was laughing then his eyes caught the silent face of Trimura was furious at him.
"How dare you?''
Their voice echoed as it hit Sambh with its tail. Sambh was badly hit by its tail and fell to the ground striking at the tree near by it. He was unable to move but crawl in pain holding his belly. He was in huge pain that it had hit so badly to him.
Somehow, he managed to look at his front where Trimura was lying and hit him back. He was shocked seeing such a dangerous snake just looming to devour him at a single bite. He crawled back.
"So, it was really you."
Sambh blabbered looking at the huge posture of giant body of the snake. It had covered the entire forest within its huge tail as if was the only creatures living there. It had grown very long than its normal body.
"So, you are shape shifting snake."
His eyes covered in disbelief. However, there was no place for him to run or escape from there. It was very huge.
It stood in front of the hole lingering and staring at Sambh. Sambh managed to stand controlling his pain and standing bravely. He stepped back and saw there was another snake staring at him just from his back.
"So, you can also separate each other. I was thinking that if such creatures ever exist." He had to believe seeing the two heads of Trimura covering him in a circle. he had no choice but to leave with them.
Sambh closed his eyes slowly and spoke half folding his hand," Amitabha"
The snake slowly spread its tail around Sambh holding him with its tail and started to talk with each other. After the long time, Sambh heard the second head speaking. Both the snake talked with each other.
One of them spoke, " this must be a giant food, and our master will be impressed by us and will leave our senior brother from his slave."
"We are sure that it will be very huge feast in the entire snake land."
The entire forest became more darker and darker as they increased its size. There was no fear in the Sambh eyes. He was still filled with question surrounding all over him. He spoke holding his breathe out from the tight skin of Trimura.
" So, you were the one who was following me from the beginning."
Sambh looked at him with his half eyes opened in the darkness," now I know why the dinosaur left following us as we approached near that tree. So, it was all your poison that was stinking all in the tree." Sambh looked down towards the tree.
He paused for a while and spoke taking a deep breath," so you had long planned this to lure me here." There was probably nothing that he could remember as his pain in his belly grew more and more. Somehow, he controlled his pain.
The forest was covered with laughter by hearing his voice. Sambh was not worried about his death that he surely knew that they are going to keep him safe for their sacrificial ritual. He started to think of a way to escape from there.
As he was thinking of a way then his ears were twitched with the laughter of them. The other snake spoke angrily," Did you forget that how one serpent was killed by our boss when he asked him to free him."
There was nothing that they were surely going to forge out from there, but they were determined to take him away alive. Sambh tried to speak but before he could speak, one of the snakes spoke," you shouldn't have insulted our boss. He is everything, everywhere and in everyone. You will be punished for your crime before sacrificial ritual."
"Your boss is in you too."
Sambh spoke laughing and mocking at Trimura, " you are really insolent. I will let you sleep for a while."
A sinister laughter covered as it took out its tongue and bite him with its full might. Before Sambh could feel its terror in his body, but it was too late as its venom passed all over his vein leaving him in an endless sleep
" Don't ask anything from him? He will be punished for his crime for insulting our boss by himself. He will know what he wanted to know."
The other head spoke," do you really think that our boss will reward us if we submit it to him." There was probably confusion in them.
They never knew the true intention of their boss. It's just that they had followed him from the beginning.
the other head spoke," do you have any other way to deal with the boss. " It paused for a while and spoke," don't forget that our brother is still his captive, if we think anything about freeing him then he will kill him."
The other head stayed silent listening him lost in a deep thought.
Trimura dragged him all along the way of broken trees dragging from the dried leaves. The ground was totally free and naked as they passed from there. As they passed then the entire forest covered in terror. The trees became silent as if had no life in it.
After a while, as they passed some distance then one of the head spoke," Our boss was the one who kept the tradition of eating our own kid as they hatch out from the egg. this has made our entire generation to be less populated."
There was silent in its face with deep worry covered all over it. They managed the silence as they moved from there.
They passed from the giant forest crawling through the basking sun. Them they slowly entered the burning forest. The entire forest was in full of fire covering everywhere. It was already in a huge turmoil. They slowly entered in it despite its heat.
"It's too hot. We will burn out if we continue our journey ahead."
One of the head spoke warning the other one. The other one replied," we are already living such miserable life dying every day."
The trees were burning furiously. They dragged him all along the woods hanging upon one root to another. The fires rarely touched them. The entire forest was lifeless. There was no sign of any animals running away from there.
"Why is this forest so deserted."
One of the head spoke looking down the forest. There was no life in the entire forest as it devoured the entire life. Even if there would some animals living in it then it was sure of it that it was going to die.
"I wonder how come this forest caused in fire all of a sudden. when we left from here in the morning then it was so lively. Even the beautiful flowers were blooming, and fruits were hanging but now it has turned in ashes. "
The snake slowly through the burning woods deeper and deeper. As they moved inside then the heat grew more strongly but it resisted. It even covered Sambh with its tail. It protected it from burning down.
The roots were scattered from the branches of trees fallen to the ground. The sun was high above the ground and the heat from the forest was boiling. They slowly moved out from the forest slowly and eventually.
As they came out from it then their eyes reached to a small village. There were very few houses in the entire village made of bamboos. As they came out from the burning trees, the other head replied as its tail loosen Sambh," the fire was kept on purpose."
"No matter who was it but it's good that he didn't succeed in his plan, and we have arrived in our snake's village." the snake spoke," we must hurry up." They moved towards the village lingering and moving the dust away.
