Chapter 28 - Border City

5 days before the entrance examination, 

You can see a person in full black armor emerge from the danger zone. Behind him is a deep forest, where even sunlight is unable to enter due to the large trees.

More importantly, if you have a spirit vision or something similar, you will notice that the density of spiritual energy is high in that area.

The danger zone will continue to produce powerful fluctuations. Coming close to the danger zone would be dangerous for a normal person who had not yet achieved the Initial Mortal Grade.

That person will be immediately affected by the fluctuations and density of Spiritual energy.

This is another reason people were afraid to approach the danger zone before becoming Mortal Grade warriors.

Now the person in full body black armor has exited the danger zone and entered the border city. There are many people around him. They are all equipped with full body armor.

There are various Warrior grades present there, including Mortal grade, Soldier grade, and Elite grade. They all have different Warrior grades.

Even the most famous and powerful Warriors had to proceed in this manner to enter the danger zone. They must go through the Warriors Association's examination process.

The Warriors from the Warriors Association wanted to make sure you were not a criminal before entering the border city or the danger zone.

After a few minutes of waiting in line, the person in black body armor was finally allowed into the border city. He immediately began walking toward the hotel area.

After a while, 

The person with full body armor finally removes his helmet. Well, this is Sam, who has just emerged from the danger zone.

Yes, he did finally enter the danger zone and fight those Monsters. It has been a month since he started entering the danger zone to complete missions.

'Well, I am pretty hungry. Sigh, who could have predicted that I would eat all of my food and, as a result, be forced to leave the danger zone. I could try to stay there for another two days.'

Sam thought that. He was forced to leave the danger zone because he had run out of food. Despite becoming a warrior, he still needed food to survive.

Sam is currently eating a meal in the hotel cafeteria. It had been a long time since he ate anything other than dry foods.

He took some time to finish his meal before leaving the hotel and heading to the Warriors Association.

Before entering the danger zone, he accepted a mission to collect resources. He must provide those resources and accept the reward.

He was observing everyone around him as he made his way to the Warrior Association. Everyone in the border city is a warrior. Even the owners of the hotels and shops are Warriors.

Not every warrior possesses the willpower or potential to pursue the warrior path. As a result, they focused their efforts on this type of business in order to make money.

'I am grateful to have received a blessing. I am not sure what would happen if I did not receive any blessings.

I definitely would not be able to start this type of business. In this world, staying normal is equivalent to waiting for your death.

You will not always be able to rely on others to protect you. If you truly lack the power, all you can do is wait for your death.'

While thinking about all of this, Sam finally enters the Warriors Association. The main hall of the Warriors Association was completely packed. There are various warriors present.

However, you will not find any famous Warriors in those locations. Those famous Warriors were not required to enter the warrior association to accept or submit missions.

They can either directly submit or accept this type of mission from their guild or organization. More than that, they would receive significantly more benefits.

However, because Sam is not a member of any organisation, he can only accept this type of mission through the warrior association.

"How is your daughter's preparation? There are only 5 days left until the entrance examination. The Warriors Association will once again host an exciting event."

"Well, she is doing fine. Even if she is unable to attend those top three Academies, I am hopeful that she will be able to attend the remaining top Academies.

A group of people are currently discussing the upcoming entrance exam. They are looking forward to the entrance exam because many well-known families will be participating this year.

Sam, however, felt nothing after hearing those words. He is not envious of them, nor does he consider them inferior to him. He simply believes in himself.

You could say that thanks to his two blessings, he made significant progress over the course of four months.

This boosts his confidence. However, he is also looking forward to meeting the world's protagonist, as well as all of the other main characters. Just meeting them will give him Fate points.

'I am not sure what kind of impact I would make in the entrance exam. I hope I did not draw too much attention.'

With his involvement and improvement, he will undoubtedly have an impact on the real story, affecting the fates of many people.

There is a chance he will influence the fate of those main characters, though the likelihood is low. He just hoped he did not draw as much attention as the protagonist of this world.
