....
There existed a garden in the Dimensional Academy. It was said that this was one of the most beautiful places in the Dimensional Academy where many exotic flowers and herbs could be found.
The scenery alone was enough to make people lose themselves in the garden. In the middle of the garden, there existed a pond that was filled with crystal clear water, with rare fishes swimming within.
A silver haired woman was sitting at the edge of the pond, with her feet inside the gentle water that had healing properties.
She was holding a cup in her right hand, which was filled with tea that was freshly brewed from the rare herbs of the garden.
She was the owner of this place, and it was her sanctuary. It was the place where she came to be with her inner self and relax.
Unfortunately, the serene atmosphere was broken as a shadow appeared behind the woman.
Before the shadow could speak, the silver haired woman asked, "Aren't you supposed to be at the Awakening Ceremony?"
"Lady Seraphina! We have two injured. We need you to heal them," the shadow spoke, his voice sounding extremely urgent.
"Can't you see that I am taking a break? Unless they are about to die at the very next moment, wait for me to finish my tea." Seraphina completely ignored the Shadow and took another sip.
"It's the descendants of the Ashborn and Esterin Family," the shadow responded.
As soon as the woman heard, she spat out a mouthful of tea. The Esterin Family alone was troublesome, but the Ashborn Family was even worse. If something happened to them because she was taking a break, then she couldn't imagine her future.
"Cough, cough. Why didn't you say that before? Will you take responsibility if something happens to them?" She stood up, unable to hide her flustered expressions.
The cup in her hand disappeared as she turned about, revealing her face that was as pale as a sheet of paper. Her long ears were akin to an elf, and her beauty matched.
She quickly left the Garden, and returned to the Medical Facility. Outside the facility, she placed her palm on the scanner. It took barely a fraction of a second to complete the scanning, and the mechanical door slid open.
Seraphina rushed through the white corridors of the Medical Facility, her long silver braid trailing behind her. The shadow guard struggled to keep up.
"Just how badly are they injured?" Seraphina asked. "Please tell me they are not on the verge of death?"
"They both lost a significant amount of blood, Professor," the shadow guard reported. "The Esterin descendant in particular... his wounds are severe. He might actually die. The Ashborn Descendant is much better, but he has also bled a lot."
Seraphina rubbed her forehead, realizing that things were even worse than she had thought. The Esterin family had already lost their eldest son at the Academy. If their youngest child died here as well, it would be a true disaster.
"Bring the regeneration tanks immediately!" she ordered before pushing open the door. When she entered, she was met with the sight of the two boys lying unconscious on separate medical beds.
As Rey Esterin had the insignia of his family on his clothes, she was able to identify him. It meant the other person was the descendant of the Ashborn.
Elias was a mess of blood. Deep wounds criss crossed his chest and arms. His normally pale skin was ashen, and his breathing was shallow.
"He pushed himself far beyond his limits," she muttered, more to herself than the shadow guard. "Such recklessness...typical of an Ashborn."
Rey Von Esterin was even worse. His entire face was broken; he was struggling to even breathe. It was a miracle that he was still alive. Compared to him, Elias's condition seemed heavenly.
Soon, two transparent cylindrical tanks were brought in, each filled with a deep blue liquid. She picked up Elias and placed him inside one of the tanks. The shadow guard was instructed to place Rey in the other, which was filled to the brim.
Both of them sank to the bottom of the tanks, floating like test subjects in some horror lab. However, even while submerged, they were still able to breathe. No, their breathing became even better.
Their bodies were greedily absorbing the blue liquid, which helped stabilize their condition. As long as they were in the regeneration tanks, they would be healed within a few hours. However, Seraphina didn't want it to take hours.
With a wave of her hand, she summoned two orbs of healing energy. She placed them inside the tanks, making the healing energy grow even stronger.
The orbs floated over the boys' heads, bathing them in a soft, emerald light. Seraphina closed her eyes, focusing her concentration to channel her power into their wounded bodies through the orbs.
"Lady Seraphina, can they be healed in twenty minutes?" The shadow asked, before offering an explanation. "I have to take them back to the Measurement Hall."
He was only given thirty minutes to bring them back. And he had already lost a few minutes in the process.
"They will be fine in a few minutes." Seraphina took her hands off the tanks, finishing what she had to do. "Just let them stay inside these tanks until they wake up."
Through the transparent glass, she could see the wounds of the two youngsters healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
"That's a relief." The Shadow Guard sighed in relief, before remembering something. "In that case, please allow me to take one of them to a different room."
He was told to keep the two of them away, so that they didn't start fighting after waking up. Now that everything had stabilized, he decided to take one of them to a different room and let them heal in peace.
He selected Elias, as the boy was in a better condition and didn't need constant monitoring. He grabbed the cylindrical tank out of the room, leaving Ester behind with Seraphina.
