Elias Ashborn had received the Auxiliary Class. Even if people of ordinary families received this class, they were left disappointed. But now, the son of one of the founding families had become an Auxiliary.
It would've still been salvageable if he had a good sub-class. However, he was an Architect. It was a class that had never appeared before, but everyone understood what it meant.
There was already a profession called an architect. They were people who were responsible for planning and building infrastructure.
Looking at the name of the sub-class, everyone thought that it was the same thing. It was a class that was even worse than a Blacksmith, who could at least make weapons.
The Professor was also at a loss for quite some time. She remembered the moment she grabbed Elias' hand to stop him.
At that moment, her instincts had made her feel as if she was holding something extremely dangerous. She thought it was because his class was dangerous. Was it just her misconception? She wasn't certain anymore.
Elias's father was in a Destroyer Class. Even his four elder brothers were in the Destroyer Class. She thought Elias was going to be the same. She had expected many scenarios, but in none of those scenarios, Elias had Auxiliary Class.
Elias took his hands off the stone slab. While everyone was focused on his Class, he was observing the Grade.
The others were looking down on his class because they had no knowledge of it, but he had already received a taste of this class. Unlike the people born in this world, he wasn't biased toward a particular class.
Although he would've liked to have the Destroyer Class, he knew that his class was much more than Auxiliary. In his eyes, this class was more destructive than anything.
He didn't say anything to anyone. He didn't care about their strange gazes as he silently walked over to the Auxiliary Class.
As he walked away, everyone's attention was focused on him. No one noticed the information screen, where the word "Auxiliary" started flickering, with the shadows of other words appearing for a brief moment.
If one were to observe carefully, they would have seen "Destroyer" and "Creator" appear on the same screen in place of "Auxiliary" amidst the flickering. However, the information soon disappeared.
With that, the Measurement Ceremony was over. The classes had been assigned, and the children were divided into three groups.
The ones in the Destroyer Class were looking extremely relieved. Even if Elias didn't have a good class, they were glad that he wasn't in the same class as them.
The Creator Class was also paying particular attention to Elias, especially the ones that had watched his brutality before.
The most disappointed were those in the Auxiliary Class. They couldn't believe their bad luck today. Not only had they received the Auxiliary Class, but they also had to be in the same group as Elias Ashborn!
Almost all of them maintained a safe distance from him, as if he was some kind of plague.
The Professor came out of her daze. Even though it was a shocking revelation, it was the reality. Moreover, she even felt somewhat relieved that it had happened.
It was a good thing in her eyes that Elias was in the Auxiliary Class. If he was in the Destroyer Class, then he was definitely going to fight Rey in the future until one of them was dead. If he was in the Auxiliary Class, it meant there was going to be a safe distance between the two.
Moreover, no other major family descendants had received Auxiliary Class, so even if Elias didn't have a powerful class, he could still basically lord over the Auxiliary Class with the help of his family name alone.
"Now that the measurement ceremony is over, all of you can leav-" the Professor opened her lips, telling everyone to leave. However, just as she was about to complete her sentence, she came to a sudden stop.
She suddenly frowned as she looked above. She asked in a low voice, "Are you being serious? How will we justify that?"
Out of nowhere, she had received a message from the Dean.
"But if we do that..." She tried to speak, but she was again stopped as the Dean insisted over something.
Eventually, the Professor could only sigh. She couldn't go against the instructions of the Dean, even if the orders didn't make sense for her.
"Fine. I will do as you ordered." She rubbed her forehead in frustration.
She looked at Elias and said, "Elias Ashborn, you will be in the Destroyer Class. Move over to the right group."
.....
"First Silas Ashborn asked me for a favor, and now you... Are you happy now?" Back in the realm of the mirror, the Dean looked back.
Behind her, a man was standing. The middle-aged man was dressed in royal attire. Each article of his clothing was a treasured artifact that could even resist attacks from mythical beasts.
On his chest was a marking that looked like it depicted an eagle soaring through the sky. The eagle was carrying a bleeding serpent that was on the verge of death.
The man didn't have any presence and felt like a ghost. However, the Dean knew his identity wasn't simple. He was the Patriarch of the Esterin family.
She had thought that the Patriarch of the Esterin family wasn't going to attend the Awakening Ceremony. However, just when she was distracted by Elias's measurement, he appeared behind her.
She didn't know how, but the Patriarch of the Esterin family, Kiel von Esterin, had learned about the incident during the awakening ceremony where his son had almost died.
She had thought he was going to create trouble, but he simply asked her for one favor in exchange for forgetting the incident.
His favor involved sending Elias Ashborn into the Destroyed Class so that his son could take revenge on his own. He wasn't going to allow Elias to escape to the Auxiliary Class.
Kiel Esterin didn't say anything else. He simply turned around, leaving after achieving what he wanted.
"I know what you want. But don't forget that the child is still an Ashborn. If something goes wrong, it might be your son who dies," the Dean reminded the Patriarch of the Esterin Family. "If that happens, you can't blame the Academy as this was your request."
The corner of Kiel's lips crept up. A portal opened in front of him.
"You think too much, Freya," he said before entering the portal.
