"Are you inside?" A sudden knock on the door caught Elias' attention.
He quickly kept both vials back in his pocket and walked over to the door, which opened as he stepped near it.
With the door opening, Elias was greeted by a person who looked less like a person and more like a shadow. He couldn't even see the face of the person, as if darkness itself had taken human form.
"It's good to see that you are awake. Please wear these clothes and return to the Measurement Hall with me," the shadow said, revealing the pair of clothes it was carrying in its hands.
Elias' shirt was already destroyed, and even the rest of his clothes were covered in blood. He couldn't return to the Measurement Ceremony like this.
"Although these clothes aren't as fancy as the ones that you were wearing, it's the best I could do." The shadow even sounded apologetic.
It didn't wait for Elias to respond and left the room, saying, "I will be waiting for you outside. Please try to be fast."
Elias returned to the bathroom, and took off his old clothes that were stained with blood. He entered the shower, and washed off the blood that was all over his body.
After quickly washing off the blood, he left the shower, water dripping down his body. He wore the new clothes that were left behind by the shadow. He shifted the two small vials in the pockets of his new pants before finally stepping out of the hall.
As soon as he left, the shadow grabbed his hand. Elias again felt as if he was pulled through space. Before he could even react, he noticed that his surroundings had changed.
He was in a closed space that looked like a hall. In the hall, he noticed many other children that had taken part in the Awakening Ceremony with him.
There was a giant stone slab in the center of the hall. The children were going to the stone slab and placing their hands on it.
Next to the stone slab, there was a screen. When a child placed his hand on the stone slab, certain information appeared on the screen.
............
Class: Auxiliary
Sub-Class: Blacksmith
Class Grade: D
Highest Potential: B
............
The child who had touched the stone slab, stared at the screen in disbelief. It was as if all his dreams had come crashing down.
There were three main classes in this world: Creator, Destroyer and Auxiliary. He had received the class that was considered the worst of them all.
Even amongst the Auxiliary Class, he received the Blacksmith which was only at a Grade D. He didn't even dare raise his head in embarrassment.
He simply turned around and walked to the south side of the hall, standing with other children that looked just as dejected.
Those of the Creator Class were standing in the left side of the hall, feeling quite proud and relaxed. A few of them looked even arrogant, as they had received a higher grade class.
The right side of the hall was taken by the Destroyer Class. Elias had just arrived and he could already see the gazes of those people.
Many of them looked dejected. However, it was not because the Destroyer Class was bad. Instead, it was because Elias was also supposed to be in the Destroyer Class.
Elias also noticed Rey Esterin, who had arrived here before him. If looks could kill, then Rey would have killed him a thousand times over. However, he seemed hesitant.
Elias wasn't sure if it was because he was scared from the past beating, or if the Professor had warned him against creating any disturbance in the Measurement Ceremony.
Rey placed his hand on the stone slab, and a few seconds later, the information on the screen changed.
............
Class: Destroyer
Sub-Class: Elemental Mage
Class Grade: S
Highest Potential: SS
............
"SS Rank Potential... Not bad. It means you can evolve your class up to SS Grade." It was rare to hear compliments from the Professor, but even she looked pleased. This time, there were quite a few good seedlings.
Rey Esterin looked at his information. He had already guessed his class, but the highest potential still surprised him.
He felt extremely pleased. An Elemental Mage was able to use magic of all elements. In the battle, he was only able to use wind-element magic, but that was only because he had just awakened.
Although the end of the awakening ceremony was embarrassing for him, it had somewhat made up for it. His class was only going to get stronger. Moreover, even if Elias was strong now because of his physical-type class, he was only going to get weaker.
He looked at Elias, unable to hide his hostility.
"Don't forget that this is not the place to fight. Go and stand with the others of the Destroyer Class," the Professor told Rey, who nodded and moved aside.
He knew that he didn't have to be in a hurry. Elias was definitely going to be in the Destroyer Class with him. He could always wash away his shame.
Almost all the children had finished their measurements. There was only one person left, and everyone was looking in his direction.
Elias stepped forward, and approached the Measurement Stone. Just like before, he was able to use a line that led to the information about the Measurement Stone.
..........
Material Composition: Soul of Judgement (94 Percent), Stone of Evolution (5 Percent), Incarnated Laws (1 Percent)
Material Stability: 70 Percent
Extraction Possibility: Low Possibility
..........
The Stone Slab had the same three materials as the Awakening Stone. Only the composition was different.
In the awakening stones, the stone of evolution was ninety five percent, but here, the Soul of Judgement took the majority. The two stones certainly had the same origins.
He was curious about the origins of the stone, but more than that, he was curious about his own class.
Initially, he was worried that his skills might be exposed. But the information didn't contain skills, which made him more comfortable.
He placed his hand on the stone slab, and looked at the screen.
The moment he placed his hand on the stone slab, the information of Rey disappeared from the screen and new information appeared.
"Hmm?" The Professor frowned looking at the screen. "Is this for real?"
In another space, the Dean of the Academy also stood up in disbelief. "How is this possible? How can an Ashborn be... that?"
She was looking forward to seeing the class that the descendant of the Ashborn had received, especially since almost all the Ashborn Descendants had received monstrous classes in the past, except a rare few.
She was even more interested after hearing about the fight between Elias and Rey, where Rey was almost destroyed. However, this was not what she expected.
..........
Class: Auxiliary
Sub-Class: Architect
Class Grade: SS
Highest Potential: #
..........
"He's an auxiliary?" Rey also looked in disbelief, until he burst out laughing. In the silence of the hall, his laughter echoed loud.
