I sat down on the bed in Emilia's room; I was still recovering, so Ryker refused to let me go back to my home. Besides, I doubt he was going to allow me to go back home, not after what happened in the battleground.

Not after hearing what the elder said about the creature that has been killing moonkeepers in the past.

It was here for me, so there was no way Ryker or anyone in the pack, for that matter, would allow me to go back to my house for fear that the creature might come to take me.
