Chapter :6; Ayush came back!
Soon, Ayush reached the camp. He looked around and noticed some people were missing, while others were patrolling the area more closely.
He asked the guards, but he couldn't find Maan Singh and Vikram anywhere in the camp. His heartbeat quickened as worry set in, and he quickly ran toward his mother's camp.
Before he could reach it, he suddenly heard the sound of people arguing. It was coming from his mother's camp.
In a rush, he ran inside.
Inside Kalyani's camp:
"Bitch… keep your mouth shut and be patient. You will enjoy it soon," Bhanu said as he grabbed Kalyani's body and gently tied her with rope. He let out a frustrated sigh.
"Let me go!" Kalyani struggled weakly, but the poison made her unable to fight back, and her vision became blurry.
Bhanu, realizing she was too weak to resist, was about to adjust his position when he suddenly heard footsteps approaching outside the camp.
He dismissed the sound, thinking it was just the guards.
Hearing the noise, Ayush quickly took out his sword and rushed inside the camp.
Bang…!
Ayush kicked open the door of the camp.
"Who's there?"
"Don't you know the queen has been poisoned by the assassins?" Bhanu called out in frustration.
"What? Mother was poisoned?" Ayush froze, shocked.
Hearing that his mother had been poisoned, and that the Mughals were behind it, left him stunned.
"Mother…..?" Kicking the tent, Ayush entered the camp and saw his mother tied with rope, her body pale.
He directly looked at her body and noticed slap marks and many scratches. Someone had tried to forcefully control her.
Then his eyes fell on Bhanu. As Ayush saw him, his anger reached its peak. Ayush had already suspected this man harbored ill intentions toward his mother, but that wasn't the point right now. Ayush also knew he was the doctor, and neither Maan Singh nor Vikram was present. They must have gone somewhere.
With a calm face, Ayush was controlling his anger, though no one knew how he was holding it in.
"Damn it…"
When did this bastard come? Did he see me doing something wrong with her? If he has really seen me, then I'm done.
Thinking of this, beads of sweat started to form on his forehead.
"Should I kill him, he is just a boy, he will not be able to fight me?" A thought came to mind as Bhanu stumbled in his choice, considering whether to kill Ayush or be killed by him.
He had only two choices: kill Ayush or wait to be killed by Ayush or the Mughals.
While Ayush was tending to his mother, fortunately, her clothes were in proper position. None of her parts were torn; it was just a struggle between them. From this, Ayush had already confirmed what had happened. He knew now what action to take, and it would be very deadly, even for anyone who would witness his punishment in the future.
However, Bhanu, conflicted in his mind, chose to kill Ayush instead of being killed by him and planned to run from the camp.
Here, he gambled his life. If he escaped safely, he might die from being killed by wild animals or the Mughals while escaping, but if he really escaped, he could enjoy his life in any condition. He was a doctor and had knowledge, so any empire might grant him the title of minister, or he could even join the Mughal court.
Thinking of this, he took out a small knife from his belt. He deliberately moved slowly and finally approached Ayush from behind.
Ayush, who was about to untie his mother, suddenly saw the anxious expression on her face. He noticed the reflection in her eyes, and that's when he realized Bhanu had been approaching him.
His eyes zoomed in like a camera's autofocus, and a smirk appeared on his face.
Just as Bhanu was about to attack, Ayush turned around, grabbed Bhanu's wrist, and then delivered a powerful kick to Bhanu's abdomen.
Bhanu, who was kicked in the abdomen by Ayush with a strong kick, flew backward, landing three meters away from his initial position.
Ayush first reached his mother and then finally took out the resurrection card from the system's storage and placed it on her forehead.
"Ding."
Host, the resurrection card will not work on a living person. If the host wants to use it, it must be on a dead person, not a living one.
As Ayush heard the system's requirement, his mood dropped to the lowest point.
His mother was poisoned, and he even had a resurrection card, but it couldn't be used on a living person. For a moment, Ayush didn't know how to deal with this situation. First of all, he couldn't watch his mother die, and secondly, he couldn't kill his mother just to use the resurrection card. There was only one option left: let his mother die from the poison, and once she died, immediately use the resurrection card. But he couldn't let his mother die in suffering and then just resurrect her.
What should I do? Ayush thought. He gently placed his mother on the sheet and then finally stepped out to confront Bhanu.
"Huh… you have guts… you dare to touch my mother?" Ayush's voice was filled with fury, his demeanor dark and ominous, like a devil who had just emerged from hell.
"Sir… your highness, it was a mistake… you've misunderstood. I am a doctor, and since she was poisoned, she couldn't control herself. I couldn't concentrate on my work, so I had to tie her up. Believe me, sir, it was just a blind mistake, your highness." Bhanu knelt in front of Ayush, as if confessing his mistakes.
"Oh, really? Then why are there scratches on your arms and face? Don't tell me my mother did that?" Ayush asked sarcastically.
"Yes… yes, your highness, it was indeed done by the queen. When I was tying her for the treatment, to make the paste, that's when it happened."
"Oh, really…?" Ayush wanted to confirm again.
"Yes… Your Highness, all this was done by Her Majesty, the Queen," Bhanu said, grabbing Ayush's leg.
"Oh… where is the medicinal paste that you made?" Ayush asked again.
"This…!" Bhanu fell silent.
"Jie… Jie… you're lying so much, even attacking and backstabbing."
"For this alone, I should have killed you earlier. But to dare touch my mother and even backstab me… I won't let you die easily."
"Get ready, for you will face one of the deadliest and cruelest punishments of the entire century," Ayush looked at Bhanu and said.
"No… no… Your Highness, you can't do this! In the entire camp, I'm the only one who knows how to heal Her Majesty. If I die, you won't be able to save her."
Seeing that he couldn't save his life any other way, Bhanu finally played his last and most reliable card, the one that could save him from Ayush's hands.
"Hehe… unfortunately, you don't have to."
After that, Ayush knocked him down, and he fainted.
Going back to his mother and checking her condition, Ayush was very nervous. He quickly scanned her entire body, with the data eyes and found that the poison had already entered her heart's capillaries and even her veins.
Ayush had no idea what to do next. He could only look at his mother, awake but unable to speak. It seemed like she was going through extreme trauma. First, she had run away from her parents' home with Ayush's father out of love, but they severed all relations with her. Then, her husband's kingdom was attacked, and she fled with her child. The most tragic part was when her child was not with her. After that, she was assassinated and poisoned. The people of her dynasty surrounded her body like wolves. Even a strong person sometimes can't go on under such circumstances, especially a woman.
Ayush first tried to calm himself down and then asked the system, "System, if I use the body evolution potion again, is there any way for my mother to survive?"
"Ding."
"Sorry, Host. Even if you use the body evolution potion, it will increase her chance of survival, but the type of poison she has taken is so potent that, if she were a normal person, she might have already died."
"It's only because her body has developed certain mechanisms and white blood cells that are helping her fight the poison. Even if you use the potion, the effect will be minimal," the system replied.
"Dammit!" Ayush cursed in frustration.
"At least, is there any antidote in the system mall?" he asked, hoping for a solution.
"Yes, there is. But unfortunately, the system mall is locked. You need to unlock it first with 2,500 points, and currently, you have only 1,200 points."
"Fuck you system…..!" Ayush roared loudly in the anger.
"Damm….at the most important time, everyone betrays."
