The Scavenger's code

All the scavengers who stood near the rushing water widened there eyes after to noticed the scavenger whose ability was to see far distances had a worried expression on his face.

One of the scavengers a tall man with black hair and a neat beard on his face took some binoculars to see for himself and when he did his eyes widened.

" Can someone explain what's happening.!"

A muscular man who also had a beard and a neat haircut stood behind the scavengers on his left chest was a badge with the symbol A+ he was the elite commander who was in charge of them.

Scavengers or rather rankers in general had enhanced senses but because of the rushing water and the sun's rays shining on the ocean they could fully utilize there abilities this said the rankers whose abilities where utility based weren't really affected.

The scavenger who had just spotted the giant serpent opened his mouth to answer.

" Sir the monster as some kind of illusion ability that makes it seem there is a boy on top of the monster waving his hand, or it might actually be a boy who as tamed that monster." The Scavengers said these wordswhile his eyes where fixed on the approaching monster.

" Impossible a boy can't tame such a thing." The elite commander scoffed.

"Ready the defenses as soon as it is with thirty metres of range attack."

The elite commander lingered for a bit.

"Today is the day we finally kill that abhorrent thing." He made a disgusted expression.

As Zain approached the docking station he had already stopped waving at them.

he had waved at them yet the defense system which consisted of Cannons was still aiming at them.

Zain and the serpent had now reached near the docking station he wasn't sure the distant but it felt like 31 metres was soon they reached a bit closer they where welcomed by a barrage of bombs and missiles.

As the bombs were thrown towards them the serpent moved its head making Zain stumble and fall on its head, then moving it's long body to maneuver around the the rushing barrage of missiles and bombs the serpent went straight for the scavengers who stood at the docking station but near the ocean.

Due to all the firing the shore was temporary filled with mist and in that mist , a pair of two eyes that were dark orange with a sleat of red vertically sliding in the eyes. They where clearly not the eyes of a human or any mundane creature at best the eyes where fifteen metres high from the ground staring at there very souls.

The scavengers stared at it with intense eyes.

" Fools ! ... What are you waiting for get your soul weapons."

A young boys voice could be heard from above the monstrosity's head.As the scavengers hesitated to attack the monster it lowed its head the eyes still fixed on them while it did so.

When the monster was low enough a small human figure jumped off from the head and landed on a plank board which was connected to the docking station. He landed front of the scavengers and there commander who was behind them.

The mist finally cleared and they noticed a boy standing in front of them, though the boy didn't look normal. This startled the scavengers because this was an odd situation but the aura that was emitting from the buy was that of an S rank even the elite commander felt it.
