CEO of Eve company is back

It was silent between Farida and Giselle as they located the pharmacy to get the medication prescribed by the doctor after informing them that Giselle is pregnant and also suffering from malnutrition, which would and definitely affect the baby in her stomach.

It was still quiet between both of them as they went back to the parking lot to enter the car.

Farida's mind was busy and so was Giselle but Giselle's mind seemed to be busier because she went to another car instead of her friend's.

Coincidentally, the car she thought was her friend's happened to be open so she entered the car and rested her head on the door as she did earlier.

"Are you not going to say anything about the news?" Giselle spoke, thinking she was the one to start the conversation but while she was in that car, Farida was searching for her.

When the person who was at the driver's seat offered no response, Giselle looked in that direction and saw her friend walking about. Then she looked at the man sitting on the driver's seat and realized that she was in the wrong car.

"I'm sorry," she apologized so deeply, sounding like a five years old child who offended his parents and lowered his head to apologize.

"I'll leave now," she turned for the car door but the man took her hand and made her look his way.

"That's not a problem, beautiful," he smiled and brought out a business card from his suit pocket. "Contact me anytime," handing it over to her, he uttered.

"Why should I…"

He cut her off. "Because you are beautiful and I want to keep in touch with you. It's not everyday a beautiful lady like you enters a man's car by mistake and I mustn't lose the opportunity to woo you until you become mine," he grinned at her.

The man made Giselle feel young again. The last time a man flirted this way with her was when she was in her first and second year in college.

"That's flattering," she murmured.

"I don't flatter, I speak facts. You are beautiful. You just need to smile more and you'd set the world on fire."

He was handsome. She giggled and began to glance at him but it turned into a locked eye contact. However, the side of her eyes caught a glimpse of her best friend asking people around about her.

Returning to her senses, she cut her gaze off the handsome man and with a smile she said, "I have to go. My friend is looking for me."

"Have a lovely day then," he confused her by taking her hand but when he kissed her, it warmed her heart.

"And…you too," she said in a low voice and left his car.

"Farida," Giselle ran to her friend and gave her a tight hug. "I want to meet a therapist now."

Farida forgot that she wanted to spank Giselle so bad once she found her because she had been causing her a lot of stress. "Really?" But when she heard the good news, she released herself from the hug and held her friend's face. "You want to live now?"

"For my baby. I want to let it go and start all over again."

When Farida heard this, tears began to drop from her eyes nonstop. "I've been…" she was overwhelmed. She couldn't say it all at once so she swallowed. "I've been waiting for the day you'd tell me this. Why did it take so long?" playing with Giselle's messed up hair, she cried.

All Giselle did was smile.

From that day on, Giselle's life changed. She finally made use of the money her ex-husband gave her. She accepted therapy and kept communicating with the man she met the day she knew she was pregnant.

He was the CEO of a starting technology company that needed more investment. Fortunately for his company, a competition was announced in the UK and the winners get sponsorship and many offers.

Giselle knew about all these things because they had been keeping in touch more than they should. His name was Roland Park and he played a great role in healing Giselle.

Giselle told him about her passion for technology and how her parents killed her dream. She had a dream about inventing greater mobile phones, computers, advanced home appliances and many more but her family claimed that she was a girl and shouldn't dream of that. She was supposed to get married as that was her goal as a female.

Roland made it known to her that he'd like to bring back her dreams. In the process, Giselle donated 80% of her money to his start-up and five years later she didn't regret her decision.

She was now the vice chairman of one of the famous tech companies in north and south America. Their name was gradually reaching Europe and other continents. It was with time they became famous in America and with time they'd be more famous in the whole world.

Five years later, Giselle, being the vice president of Eve company, needed to return to the United States for business as she left the USA for the competition happening five years ago in London.

So she returned with her daughter and best friend, who had been by her side from the start. It was great to see that her efforts to make Giselle live a better life wasn't in vain.

Back then when Giselle was depressed and killing herself over the incident that happened, Farida thought there was no way out of her best friend.

But then, the baby came and Giselle found a reason to live. Not only that, she met a man who supported her in every way and brought her this far in her dream of being involved in technology, which she had given up in the past.

Partnering, they owned the company named Eve.

Now, Giselle Bridges, after five years of being a good mother and a CEO of a tech company, realized that the connection she was cut off back then was nothing but a big blessing.

After reaching the USA, Giselle thought about her past life and what she was going to meet now that she was back home. She hoped not to meet her family but her return to the country was announced as she wasn't just a vice president of any company but of one of the well-known technology company in the country and almost around the world.

Who was she going to meet first? Giselle pondered, preparing to face her past again but this time as a strong person. However, what Giselle didn't know was that the man who disappeared five years ago was still nowhere to be found.
