The librarian

Li Wei created a guide for those two new opportunities he found and decided to enter, but not without first buying supplies and a lamp that works with spiritual stones.

After crossing the mist and walking for a few minutes, the path ahead began to blur, and many times Li Wei realized that the golden line he was following pointed in another direction.

'What a powerful effect. If I didn't have my ability, I wouldn't risk entering', Li Wei thought as he walked, holding a lamp that illuminated his path a bit.

From time to time, screams of agony and pain could be heard, which made Li Wei shudder.

Half an hour later, Li Wei encountered a wall blocking his path, but curiously, the golden line guiding him to the opportunity indicated he had to cross the wall.

'This must be the natural illusion formation covering the library', Li Wei thought as he ignored the wall and continued walking through it.

After crossing the wall, Li Wei found himself inside a huge dome that covered a small library in the center.

'Indeed, it's the library', Li Wei thought as he approached the library's door.

When he reached the door, he noticed a sign hanging that said:

'Interesting', Li Wei thought as he opened the door and entered.

The library had four bookshelves divided by element.

Li Wei approached the section where the wind element books were, but on his way, he was stopped by a shadow that formed in front of him.

It was a completely black, humanoid shadow with a happy expression on its face, extending its hand to Li Wei as if asking for something.

'This must be the librarian, and it seems he wants something of value', Li Wei thought as he took out a spiritual plant and handed it to him.

The librarian took the spiritual plant and disappeared.

'It seems my assumption is correct. As long as I pay him, he won't harm me', Li Wei thought as he walked to the wind element books section.

All the books were in the sky rank, and as Li Wei looked at them, he couldn't help but tremble with excitement.

After thinking it over and reviewing all the books, Li Wei chose a technique that uses the spear because he remembered there was also an opportunity that would give him a celestial-grade spear.

Weapons are divided into five ranks: mortal, spiritual, profound, earth, and celestial.

Li Wei took the sky-rank technique called Celestial Tempest Spear:

With this technique, the user concentrates the wind's energy into their spear, creating powerful air currents around the tip. When throwing the spear at their target, these currents unfold in a devastating whirlwind that not only increases the attack's speed and power but also creates a series of cutting gusts that can dismember nearby enemies.

'I like this technique', Li Wei thought as he stored the book in his storage ring and headed for the exit.

But after taking a few steps, a person burst into the library and seemed not to have seen the rules written next to the door because when he saw Li Wei, he began to demand that he hand over everything he had obtained.

'He's dead', Li Wei thought as he looked at him.

The person was bewildered by Li Wei's silence, but before he could say anything, the librarian appeared behind him with an annoyed expression and effortlessly split him in two with a movement of his hand.

Blood splattered on Li Wei's face, and he was filled with horror at the situation because he could not see the movement the librarian had made.

'This monster is very powerful, I'd better leave quickly', Li Wei thought as he walked towards the exit, trying not to disturb the librarian who was eating the body of the person he had killed.

After leaving the library, Li Wei decided to follow another golden line, and three hours later, he encountered a group of cultivators fighting a white, eyeless creature.

"If we don't kill it quickly, it will be too late, and we'll be surrounded", said a cultivator to her companions.

"I see a light, let's head there", said another cultivator, pointing in Li Wei's direction.

More creatures were approaching due to the noise of the battle, and they were gradually losing their advantage.

'Damn it, they're coming towards me because of my lantern, but I can't turn it off because I won't be able to see anything without the light', Li Wei thought.

"Fellow cultivator, help us", said a female cultivator from the group to Li Wei.

'I'm not going to help them. They can solve their own problems', Li Wei thought as he activated his movement technique and disappeared.

Moments later, screams of pain and cries for help were heard, but the only thing that caused was for more creatures to attack them.

'They brought it on themselves', Li Wei thought as he followed the golden line.

The creatures didn't pursue Li Wei because his movement technique, called Silent Shadow, focused on stealth and didn't make any noise while minimizing his presence to the maximum.

Three hours later, while following the golden line, Li Wei came across a mountain and climbed it because the line indicated that the opportunity was at the top.

When he reached the peak of the mountain, he found a rusty spear stuck in the ground.

'The opportunity didn't say it was stuck in the body of a creature that died a long time ago? This is very strange', Li Wei thought with doubt.

'Unless... the entire mountain is the corpse of the creature', Li Wei thought incredulously.

'Such a huge creature existed. I'm curious to see what it looked like when it was alive.'

After Li Wei grabbed the spear, all the rust it contained disappeared, and in its place was a shiny silver color.

But Li Wei was more focused on understanding the information that appeared in his head about the spear's abilities.
