Lisa crossed her arms. "That's not a good reason to slap me."
Lucy smirked. "It is. You came here claiming you wanted the truth, but you didn't even check if your own equipment was working properly."
Lisa, without hesitation, slapped Lucy back.
Lucy's eyes widened. "Why did you slap me?!"
Lisa glared. "First, you slapped me. Second, how dare you embarrass me like that?"
Lucy chuckled. "Lisa, you're a smart woman. This is live, right?"
Lisa's expression faltered. "You're right…"
"Thank you," Lucy said with a grin. "And just so you know, I'm a smart woman too. And I don't like getting slapped."
Lisa scoffed. "No one likes getting slapped."
Lucy turned toward the camera crew. "Alright, let me take over here. You—camera guy—don't turn this off. I'll give you a hundred thousand."
The cameraman hesitated for a second, then nodded. "Deal."
Lucy faced the camera directly. "Now, here are five of the darkest secrets of AWNR."
Lisa's face paled. "Shut it down!"
The cameraman shook his head. "Nope."
Lucy continued. "First—AWNR's CEO exploits workers. For example—" She pulled out her phone and held it up to the camera, showing a video of the CEO forcing foreign workers to do overtime with no breaks, no pay, and no knowledge of their rights.
Lisa lunged toward her. "Stop this!"
Lucy ignored her. "Second—AWNR employs people who like kids. And not in a normal way."
Lisa turned to the crew. "I said shut it down!"
The cameraman stood firm. "No."
Lucy smirked. "Third—Lisa isn't even the highest-paid reporter, even though she has the highest ratings. Guess who is? A news anchor named Rule Reail—the CEO's own son."
Lisa's hands balled into fists.
"And fourth—Lisa hates—"
Before Lucy could finish, Lisa shoved the camera, abruptly cutting the live broadcast.
Breathing heavily, Lisa turned to Lucy. "You just ruined my life."
Lucy tilted her head mockingly. "Kneel."
Lisa's eyes widened. "What?"
"Kneel," Lucy repeated, her voice dangerously soft. "And say, 'Sorry, boss.'"
Lisa clenched her jaw but, seeing no other choice, dropped to her knees. "Sorry… boss."
Isabella, who had been watching in shock, finally spoke. "Wow… your sister really knows her stuff."
Julian crossed his arms. "She knows too much."
