The raise of Maureen Smith and her Good Luck System

Lately, Richard had also been deeply troubled.

The number of errors in his experiments had increased, and even when he played basketball, his mind was elsewhere.

Maureen had said in front of his teammates in the corridor that day that she no longer liked him, and true to her words, she had not sought him out anymore.

Not only had she not sought him, but she seemed to be deliberately avoiding him.

The person he used to see every day just vanished from his world.

At the beginning, Richard still held some secret hope while keeping a cold face, thinking that this was just another one of her ways to intentionally provoke him, maybe she was not sincere.

However, as the days went by, Richard gradually realized amidst his daily helplessness and anxiousness, Maureen...had truly walked away, and then stopped there.

She wouldn't move any closer to his world again. Richard was not used to this.
