'Jujutsu Inspector General? Wasn't Daiki-kun sentenced to public execution? How did he suddenly become the Inspector General who leads the entire Jujutsu World?'
The Sorcerers' words outside the shōgi room reached Itsuki's ears clearly.
From condemned prisoner to Jujutsu Inspector General — all within less than twenty-four hours?
She couldn't understand how Daiki had changed their minds, but the Sorcerers' pale faces and trembling knees hinted at something terrifying.
Nino, Miku, and the others grasped the significance of the Inspector General title. Only Yotsuba remained unconcerned, staring at Daiki with wide-eyed shock.
The Meijin, frozen in place, finally realized how extraordinary his opponent was.
A Jujutsu Sorcerer!
He, the one praised as the strongest Meijin in history, had heard whispers of this during conversations with other top shōgi players.
The stories always followed the same pattern: a struggling player would suddenly gain tremendous strength, dominate half the shōgi world with overwhelming force, then perish from mental exhaustion.
The Meijin had encountered several such mysterious players in his career. This was why they spent fortunes inviting Sorcerers to remove Curses.
Though the Sorcerers' true nature remained unclear, the Meijin had witnessed nobles and wealthy families treating these enigmatic figures with profound respect.
If ordinary Sorcerers commanded such deference, what of this Jujutsu Inspector General who could interact directly with the Prime Minister?
Daiki gave a cold glance.
The kneeling Sorcerers held their breath as two black crows swooped through the window into the shōgi room.
Before everyone's eyes, the crows landed on the Sorcerers' heads. In an instant, both birds and men vanished completely.
The chilling scene left the Meijin more unsettled than ever. He felt fortunate to have lost purely due to inferior skill — otherwise, he might have disappeared along with those two.
Recalling the crows' sharp talons landing on heads, he wondered if perhaps he should wear a helmet during future matches.
Standing at the corridor corner, Ai and Mrs. Izumi watched with wide eyes.
'Teacher Eri Kashiwagi was right — Chiba really is full of hidden talents! Even a newly opened shōgi hall has such a mysterious important figure. Sagiri will definitely be safe from those supernatural events here.' Mrs. Sayu felt relieved, having finally solved her troubling problem, "Ai, it's time to go... Ai?"
Before she could finish speaking, Ai had already darted away.
The little girl ran straight to the shōgi room and, upon entering, fixed her gaze on the seated Daiki.
"Master! Please take me as your disciple and teach me shōgi!"
Miku and the others looked up to see an adorable little girl run in.
Her polite and well-mannered bow instantly endeared her to Nino and Miku.
'I wonder if Daiki-kun's children will be this cute too?' The same thought crossed both girls' minds.
"Take you as my disciple? But I don't really play shōgi that often!" Daiki said, recognizing the little girl immediately.
Faced with this gentle rejection, Ai gave him a pitiful look.
"Daiki-kun, why not take just one disciple?" The soft-hearted Miku couldn't resist such a pleading expression. She gently shook her boyfriend's arm.
Hearing these words, Ai turned gratefully to the long-haired sister.
"Thank you, Master's wife!" She bowed respectfully.
That "Master's wife" comment made Miku and the others shudder.
Nino clenched her fist regretfully, wishing she had spoken up first.
"If you don't mind what I said before, then it's no problem."
"Of course not! Thank you, Master! From now on, Ai belongs to Master!"
{T/N: FBI, keep watch in this, please.}
Mrs. Izumi stood stunned in the doorway.
Rina and Machi couldn't help but smile wryly at her. This was truly a meteoric rise.
"If only I weren't too old, I would have..." sighed the bewitchingly charming Rina with regret.
Machi was also somewhat envious of the Jujutsu Inspector General's new disciple.
His shōgi skills had completely overwhelmed the Meijin. If he entered this competition, the Meijin's Lifetime Seven Crowns would be in jeopardy.
"I'm truly sorry, Daiki-kun." Said Rina apologetically in her role as shōgi hall manager.
Who would have thought that even a die-hard Sorcerer fan could lose their temper over a defeat?
If he weren't a higher-up in the Jujutsu World, this could have been trouble.
Daiki waved his hand dismissively.
"I'll go downstairs to handle things."
The first-floor lobby remained packed with spectators eager for drama.
The Meijin's three consecutive losses had caused quite a sensation, drawing far more visitors than expected.
While Daiki and Miku's group taught little Ai shōgi, Mrs. Izumi stayed attentively in the room.
The Meijin, meanwhile, had departed by car to clear his head.
Through Mrs. Izumi's explanation, they learned about Ai's situation.
The girl had run away from home seeking a suitable shōgi teacher. She had planned to visit the female professional player Rina Shakando but had encountered Daiki instead.
Fortunately, she had met Mrs. Izumi, who was about to move. The three of them, along with Mrs. Izumi's daughter, had relocated to Chiba together, with Ai temporarily staying at their home.
The group spent a leisurely afternoon there until Ginko and Keika arrived in the evening with bento boxes and apologies.

Meanwhile...
The Kōhai Trio, exhausted from their day of training, passed by the shōgi hall.
"Shōgi, huh? I tried it once but had no talent for it." Ayase sighed, gazing at the newly opened establishment.
"Should we take a look? We could grab dinner while we're at it." Suggested a hungry Iroha, catching the enticing aroma wafting from the hall.
"Let's go in!" Kirino, who had never seen shōgi before, eagerly pulled her friends inside.
The first-floor lobby was packed, forcing the Kōhai Trio to venture up to the mysteriously empty second floor.
As they passed one of the shōgi rooms, Iroha suddenly halted, her mouth twitching at the scene before her.
"Iroha, what is it?" Ayase and Kirino hurried to the doorway.
There sat their "long-missing" Daiki-senpai.
Wasn't he supposed to be tutoring someone? This hardly seemed like a study session.
Surrounded by beautiful girls and adorable children, Daiki merely had to open his mouth for multiple pairs of chopsticks to offer him food.
This scene was more lavish than an ancient emperor's court!
