Sisterhood.

Eli

"Is this your sister?" Bailey asks

I glance up from cutting the onions to see her looking at the pictures on the shelf "It is."

"She's stunning." She tilts her head slightly "I don't think I ever saw her on campus."

"That's because she doesn't attend Trinity. Natalie is completely human."

Her head snaps to me with a frown "Her name is Natalie?"

I nod "What's with the frown, love?"

"Oh, nothing." She moves away from her spot to come closer to me "How is she human if your parents were witches?"

"Well my parents are witches. Natalie's father is a human"

She frowns in confusion until it eventually dawns on her that we share different fathers "I see. How old is she?"

I nod to her "Your age."

"Cool" she comes around to me and gently takes the knife from me "Let me cut these up. You have a start with the steaks."

I narrow my eyes, not really wanting her to do anything but she just starts chopping ignoring my look. I decided to make us Filet Mignon with Red Wine. I put on some music as we start cooking together and I glance at her to see her hips swaying to the music and I lick my lips before getting back to work. When everything is ready I start platting it and she asks "Do you perhaps have candles for the table?"

"Yeah there should be in one of the drawers along with matches."

"Alright." She starts looking through the drawers and she pauses "What's this?"

I glance at her to see her holding up a necklace with a half heart pendant "That was my mother's. She was a part of this sisterhood for all the witches and they all used to wear that."

She blinks in surprise "Really? My mother had the exact same one."

I raise an eyebrow "What a coincidence."

"Right. Do you think they knew each other?"

I shrug "Could be." She nods and puts the necklace away again but I can see something is on her mind "Talk to me, beautiful."

She sighs as she takes out the candles "I just have so much on my mind right now but do you perhaps know what happened to the sisterhood?"

My eyes narrow "Why? Do you plan on joining?"

She huffs out a laugh as she takes the candles to the table "Perhaps."

"Well I don't think there's a sisterhood anymore. I think they all died and no one carried on the legacy." I grab the matches to pass it to her but freeze when I see the candles lit already "Did you just use your powers to light the candles?"

"I did." She says proudly "And look, my nose didn't even bleed."

I hum and kiss her forehead "Such a good girl."

I smirk when I see the blush on her cheeks but I don't mention it and I pull out the chair for her, she presses a kiss to the corner of my mouth and sits down. Now it's my turn to blush because I've always been the one taking the initiative of our kisses, she just caught me by surprise.

That's all.

When she's seated, I fetch the food and put her plate in front of her before pouring us a glass of wine too before I join her. "Dig in."

I watch her anxiously as she takes her first bite of the meal but immediately relax when she lets out a soft hum of approval "This is really good, Eli."

"I'm glad you like it." I say before starting to eat.

"Like it? I love it. I'm so tired of the cafeteria food." Her eyes widen "No offence to Trinity or the staff of course, I just need a little change in my meals."

I chuckle "Don't worry, I get it. I brought it up to the dean to change the menu once in a while but he wasn't on board with the idea, said he didn't want to spoil the students too much."

She tilts her head "My roommates say Mr Robinson treats them like garbage and I was surprised, because he doesn't seem like the type."

"He's not a mean person. I think he's just strict so that the students doesn't disrespect him"

She nods "Understandable."

I continue eating my food all the while keeping my eyes on her. The way her lips wrap the fork, the flex of her cheek as she chew and the bop of her throat as she swallows. Bailey is gorgeous in a girl next door type of way. Her long brunette hair, her big green eyes, full plump lips and her personality. She's sweet, cares deeply and is not afraid to wear her heart on her sleeves.

The total opposite of me.

We finish our meal but continue sitting by the table as we sip our wine and talk. She's halfway through her story that she was telling me about seeing her parents in The Great Beyond when she suddenly pauses and says out of nowhere "I need to sort through your emails."

My eyebrows shot up in both surprise and confusion "Why exactly?"

"Because on the schedule said that today is email sorting but I didn't even do it."

"That's because you were sick, I don't expect you to work when you're not well." I point out.

She gestures to herself "I'm well now so I can do it now."

I sigh "You seriously want to work right now?"

"Yes, I'm a very dedicated person and I won't be at peace until I do it."

I huff out a dry laugh "Alright. I'll get my laptop from the car."

"I'll clean these in the meantime" she says and before I can tell her that I'll do it, she's already packing up the dishes and carries it to the kitchen. I watch her ass as she walks away before shaking my head and heading to my car and grabbing my laptop. I'm about to make my way back inside when I notice a car pulling up and I tense when I see its Maya car.

Shit.

Her car comes to a stop and I head over to her window before she can get out "What the fuck are you doing here?"

Her head pulls back in surprise "I was looking for you on campus and tried calling your phone but to no avail so I thought I'd find you here."

I grit my teeth "Did you need something?"

"No I just wanted to see you, I feel like we haven't been spending time together lately."

"Well I can't right now because I'm in the middle of something"

Her eyes narrow and she glances at my attire before looking to the cabin then back to me "Bailey?" I nod in confirmation. She raises an eyebrow "Wow. You work fast."

"I'm actually working slow because I haven't got a hold of a piece of her hair yet."

She nods "I'm sure you'll get it. Somehow."

"Right." I step away from her car "Goodnight"

"Night." She starts her car up again but before she pulls away, she says "No having sex with her. I'm fine with you two kissing but sex is where I draw the line. You belong to me."

My jaw clenches in irritation but I don't say anything as I watch her drive away. It's honestly stupid that Maya thinks I belong to her.

I don't belong to anyone.
