I'm coming for you

I'm sitting in a chair looking inside my suit when Pepper walked back in. "How's the suit?" - "She'll live. You get whatever you needed done?" - "That I did."

She looked at my desk and seen the flash drive. "Do I really? You're not even locked out?"

I put down everything in my hands and rolled over to her. I picked it up and placed it in her hands. "I know I'm not. But I haven't been to the office since I came back. I'll have a bunch of people asking me questions, and I won't be able to get the information I need in time." - "Why don't you just get Jarvis to do it?" - "Because I haven't upgraded him enough to pass through my own encryptions. I have to get the information from a computer inside the company that has high enough clearance." - "But..." - "Pep. You can go into my office, get the information and leave, with the least amount of people noticing." - "Stane most likely will notice." - "And he for sure will notice if I go."

She sighed and put the flash drive in her pocket. "You're a pain in my ass you know that right?" - "Yep. But you deal with me because you love me, and I love you too.

Oh, speaking of that, your suit is being fabricated as we speak. Should be done within the hour." - "Good. Can I see?" - "When it's done. Now go. Be safe." - "I'll try."

When she walked away I rolled back over to my suit and grabbed my tools.

I tapped them against my leg and looked at the suit.

"Jarvis. I'm done with the suit. Put it away."

I put the tools back down as the suit lowered into the floor.

I stood up and started to walk to the door.

Jarvis: "Where are you going sir?" - "To meet a friend."

I walked by the second Reactor I made and walked upstairs.

"I feel hurt. I have to come to you. I fully expected my best friend to come see me, since you know. I was kidnapped."

I walked up to Rhodey who was looking at a jet.

Rhodey: "Tony. What brings you by?" - "What? I can't come and see you?" - "It's not that... I just. Are you alright?"

I slightly twisted my head. "Yeah. Why?" - "You are... just different since you came back.

You kissed Pepper as soon as you came saw her, I heard how you were with Pepper at the Gala, trying to get a missile launched at them, so you can see if you can outrun it, and I guess just how you talk, think since you've come back." - "I needed to test my speed and I figured that would be a good way. I dropped the farce and laughed. "Yeah. Unfortunately your right.

Hey, like I said earlier, you should come by and see my armor. It's an amazing invention." - "Is it for the army?" - "No, not this time.

It's not that I don't trust them, I... I just can't in my right mind give the government a suit like this. If you come and see it, you'll see why." - "Tony." - "Rhodey. Before you make a judgmental comment. Come and look at my suit. It's a wonder." - "Is that why you came here?" - "Yes. Come. Follow me back home."

Rhodey sighed and started to walk to the exit. "Fine. I have to let someone know I'm heading off base. I'll meet you outside."

I smiled and slightly hopped as I walked out.

I do want to show him. But I also want him to hear about Stanes attack. I need him to keep the sky's clear.

I also needed to get out of the house. I could've stopped Stane. But I don't want to. Well, not yet.

I want him to power the suit. I want him to get in it, and try to kill me. It gives me a good, oh, so good reason to kill him.

I have the feelings of the original, and knowing he had my dad and mother killed, and tried multiple times to have me killed, makes me want to kill him personally, but without the suit? I can't do that.

I could do it in secret, I could make it look like an accident. But it also gives me a stage to reveal myself as Iron Man.

As we walked into my house Jarvis spoke. "Sir. Ms. Potts has been trying to contact you."

"Is there anything else I should know?" - "Mr. Stane was here while you where gone. He left with the second Arc Reactor you made."

I ran downstairs to see it was gone.

'Just as planned.'

"What did Pepper say?" - "She said that her and a handful of Agents are going to arrest Mr. Stane." - "That's not enough! I need my suit."

I Took my phone out of my pocket and put it on a surface as I walked over to the platform.

Rhodey: "What's going on?" - "Peppers in danger." - "How?" - "I suspected That Obadiah has started to make his own suit so I had Pepper go investigate." - "Why would him making a suit be a problem?"

The suit started to get put on. "I just had a hunch at first. But when Pepper went to go and investigate, She found a video from the 10 rings asking for more money since stain didn't tell them it was me he tried to have killed." - "You sure?"

I got released from the machines. "100%." - "What can I do?" - "Just keep the sky's clear."

I dropped the faceplate and took off through my garage door, and another suit flew out behind me.
