With most of the disobedient nobles dealt with and refugee aid fully secured, Byakuya was ready to begin the operation to reclaim Shiganshina District.

The first step was to clear out all the Titans inside the district. Then, just like before, Byakuya and Eto held off the Titans outside the walls while the Garrison soldiers constructed a massive net to secure the perimeter.

Compared to the previous Operation to retake Wall Maria, this was far simpler—the Shiganshina area was much smaller. In less than half a day, the mission was complete.

As Shiganshina was successfully reclaimed, the original residents began returning — among them, naturally, was the Yeager family.

Grisha hadn't forgotten what Byakuya had told him. Once back in Shiganshina, he immediately took Eren to the basement...

Byakuya figured he had accumulated several thousand stat points again—plenty to purchase a good amount of RC Cell Concentrate and further boost Eto's strength.

He bought over a dozen bottles in one go, spending more than a thousand points.

"All this? You want me to drink them all?" Eto looked at the familiar bottles with a hint of surprise.

"Yeah. Let's see if it gives you a noticeable power boost" Byakuya nodded.

"Alright then." Eto didn't stand on ceremony—she downed every last bottle in one go.

"This time... I can clearly feel the RC cells increasing. I think my kakuja form might reach over 12 meters now."

She spoke as she felt the changes taking place in her body.

"That's good. Definitely worth the investment" Byakuya replied calmly.

With that done, there wasn't much left to do for the time being.He decided not to deal with the Warrior Trio just yet—they still had their uses, and he wasn't worried about them causing trouble.

In the original story, Reiner and the others only launched another assault on Wall Rose five years later, after failing to detect any sign of the Founding Titan. They simply couldn't wait anymore.

What they didn't know was that Grisha had already stolen the Founding Titan's power that day and passed it on to Eren. Naturally, there would be no signals to detect.

During those five years, Eren had no idea he even possessed Titan powers, let alone the Founding Titan's.

"It's been a while since we left home... I think it's time we returned. There's not much left to take care of here right now" Byakuya said to Eto.

"Yeah. We should head back. It's been days since we've seen Mayu" Eto nodded.

Before leaving, Byakuya informed the Yeager family and Frieda that he'd be gone for a while—but might return at any time.

Then, Byakuya brought Eto into the Kamui dimension.

From there, the two held hands and instantly warped back to the Tokyo Ghoul world.

They landed precisely in front of the Anteiku.

As they pushed the door open, they were greeted by familiar faces.

Even though they'd only been gone for a little under two weeks, both Byakuya and Eto felt as though a long time had passed.

"Byakuya, Eto—you're back" Yoshimura welcomed them with a warm smile.

"Mm." Byakuya gave a small nod.

"I heard you two went on a honeymoon trip. So—did you take any cute photos for memories?" Hikari teased with a playful grin.

Hearing that, Byakuya suddenly realized—he could have brought a camera to the world of the Titans. It would've worked just fine.

"Ah, we didn't, actually." Byakuya smiled awkwardly.

Even if they had, there's no way he'd show Hikari those pictures.If word got out that he could travel between worlds, it would cause all kinds of trouble. He wasn't afraid—he just found it annoying and unnecessary.

"That's a real shame." Hikari said, shaking her head.

Minami and Arima happened to be sitting in the café as well.

"Wait—you two were on a honeymoon?" Minami asked in surprise.

Clearly, she hadn't heard. She figured they had just been busy with something else these past several days.

"Ah—I guess I forgot to tell Minami" Hikari said with a sheepish smile, then immediately switched topics.

"So, when are you and your Arima going on a honeymoon? You two are always juggling school and part-time jobs—it's good to get out and relax sometimes, you know."

"Wha—!? I—I... um..." Minami blushed and began stumbling over her words.

"A trip sounds nice. I wouldn't mind."Arima, on the other hand, remained calm and unusually responsive to the teasing.

Ever since the CCG reformed — after the Washuu clan and the V collapse d— Arima had been far more relaxed.No longer bound by their agendas, he only deployed when necessary to handle rogue Dragons or troublesome ghouls. The rest of the time, he simply attended school and spent most days with Minami. 

At this stage, the dragon orphans hadn't begun to evolve yet, and were still on the losing side against the united front of humans and ghouls.

"Oho~ Look at that, Arima's speaking up now. What's there to be shy about, Minami?" Hikari continued her gentle teasing.

"E-Eh...?" Minami was clearly shocked that Arima had played along.

"Would you look at that — Arima's finally learning how to be a normal guy." Byakuya commented, half in amusement.
