Jessica's point of view:
I closed my eyes as I didn't want to break the sweet moment, and I waited patiently for the kiss to happen.
Surprisingly, nothing happened. His lips never touched mine, which caused me to open my eyes.
I opened my eyes, not knowing what was wrong, only to face a smirk on the devilish face. He wasn't struggling to keep his urge to laugh at all. He actually was enjoying it, and I hated how it felt.
I felt ashamed of myself and speechless. Still, he wasn't feeling the same, with a teasing tone, he started.
"Not gonna happen, Red! You're far from being my type..."
Although I felt speechless for a while, his statement got on my nerves, and without thinking twice, I found myself defending myself.
" What... You think I was ... No... The reason I closed my eyes is... Isn't ... I mean, I wasn't..."
" ...Yeah, I believe you!" He cut me off with the same teasing voice.
His hand was still holding my waist, so I pushed him away from me. As I fixed myself up, I yelled with the first thought coming into my mind.
" Your breath... There's a smell in your breath. I closed my eyes because I'm a girl with manners... I didn't want you to notice the disgust in my eyes."
His eyes opened up upon hearing my reasoning, then he used his hand to taste his breath.
" Liar!" He denied it, not wanting to believe what I told him, which is normal.
Still, it was my turn to tease him back. He never missed a chance to make fun of me, and I wasn't going to miss such a chance.
"I'm not a liar... You need to change your toothpaste... Also..."
"Enough!" he shouted, wanting to hear no more words from me. All I knew after was me being drugged out of the room I was locked inside.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked, and he didn't answer me at all. The way he was holding my hand was a bit too rough that it hurt my hand.
I decided not to follow him anymore. Instead, I used all sorts of power I had to free my hands from his.
"Let go of me, you piece of sh***! You have no right to..."
I was yelling when he spoke, and what he told me got my attention.
He simply said,
"Okay! You are free to go back. You know the way back to your room if you want..."
I stand still, trying to guess what sort of games he is playing right now. I mean, I've learned not to trust him anymore. He then continued,
"You haven't eaten anything since the day before, and I thought you might be hungry, but it seems that you're not."
Upon hearing about food, I became quiet since I was indeed hungry.
He gave up on me and then made his way down. I found myself between a choice; it was either to follow him or go back and keep on hungry. After thinking and thinking, I decided to follow him. The sound of my steps got his attention; he turned around to face me again.
"What are you doing now?" His eyebrows narrowed in a questioning way. Before I spoke, my stomach made a sound.
At that moment, I indeed wished I could hide myself, or at least bury myself six feet under the ground.
"Follow me!" He ordered me, and I did as I was told.
I didn't utter any other words while following him. The house was really breathtaking. There wasn't much going on with the building materials. Everything was quietly simple, yet majestic and magnificent.
I was quite impressed with how it all looked. Lost in the view I was, I didn't notice the wall standing steps in front of me.
"Ouch!" I shouted while feeling pain all over my body. I fell on the ground the moment my path interrupted the so-called Luca.
"Is it a habit of yours to throw yourself on people?"
Without uttering a word, I stand up while doing my best to ignore him.
" What? Did the cat eat your tongue or what? I don't remember you as the quiet person you are now!"
Was he also trying to tease me? I mean, what's wrong with those people? I flipped my hair, and then gave him the answer I was searching for.
" No, I'm quite fine. I'm ignoring you!"
He started laughing, then repeated my last line in a provoking way.
" Ignoring me?"
" Yes, I am ignoring you. That's what normal people do when encountering some other people that they don't like. Don't tell me you are unfamiliar with that! I mean, not that any saint girl would waste her time on you...." I stopped for a while as I noticed that I failed to get on his nerves as I wished, and then I decided to add more. " I sometimes even ask how your mother handled your existence."
It was supposed to be a joke, yet I didn't know he would take that seriously. His gaze was scarily meeting mine. He looked angry in a frightful way.
" What did you just say?" He asked abnormally. I mean, his voice was full of rage and anger, although he wasn't too loud while asking. I didn't know what to do.
Should I repeat myself, or would I do better by keeping my tongue inside?
I didn't utter a word, and that seemed to anger him even more than before. "What did you just say?" He shouted this time, causing my entire body to shiver.
"I ... I ... I'm ignoring..."
Before that, I was able to finish what I was saying. I saw a flying fist making its way toward my face...
