Chapter 5: A Bloody Fight

"What the heck is that?"

"Isn't it seems like the one that entered me a while ago!"

Vale's thoughts runs wild but he cannot afford to wait here and die, so he move his broken body.

Even do it hurts a long for him he need to get out of here or he will get smashed into pulp by the madman here that's already approaching him fast!

After moving his right leg he felt as he has finished digesting something, like a famished man in the dessert finally take a sip of water from who knows how much time.

A flash of dark aura visible to human eye, emerge out of his body before it converge back in his body.

But Vale didn't seem to notice it as he was busy enjoying the intoxicating felling of this strange energy that circulate within him.

"Ah, so refreshing..."

"What the hell is that feeling... It's to... Addicting"

Vale body tremble from the energy that rush all parts of his body.

Healing all bruised and cuts, it also started to heal his broken bones.

Seeing his injury heal at a speed visible to the human eye.

He was amazed and thrilled.

Who would not be exited about having a super regenerative abilities like X-Men from DC movies?

As well as superhuman strength...

Before he could rejoice more, the madman that chase him before because of noise he man already closing in, and ready to attack.

Vale's body prepare for the fight, even do he don't know martial arts, or fighting technique.

He believes that with his strength, he can defeat this bunch of brainless madman that plan on attacking him.

He make sure that he will give them a good time, for their thoughts of attacking him.

5 madman is approaching Infront of him and he can't run away as his left leg is twisted and broken beyond recognition he can only brace himself for what to come.

3 madman was gripping a weapon and the other 2 has none.

One madman close by rush excited towards Vale's direction and swing it's fire axe attempting to hack him.

With Vale full body potential, he reacted fast and use his arms to take the fire axe from the hands of this madman.

With little effort or almost all of his strength, he took the axe from the madman and use it to hack it back.

"You like to hack someone huh!,"

"Take this!"

He aim the axe to the madman's head and using almost all his strength, hack the maniac in front of him.

The madman's head, open as vale axe easily pierced it's head.

Spurt!

Blood spurt out of the madman's head, before Vale push it's body away.

Blood washed his face and body but he didn't felt disgusted but instead felt anger.

Anger about this madman that seems to target him wherever he go.

The body of the madman seems to has only the full strength of the normal person.

And they way out of the ordinary.

They act, as if they don't care anything other than killing people and casting despair over them.

They like... Possessed!

Yes that's the right term!

They are not mad they where possessed by either ghost or devils! I believe.

Vale seems to realized something, as he also remembered the time where he ran out of the 1st mall.

He saw a dark shadow emerging from a crack in the road and entered the body of a madman before they become crazy.

Vale also remembered that he was also possessed by this shadowy thing but why is still sane and not become mad?

He thought to himself as a female madman attack him with it's bloodied nails.

But how could Vale let it be?

Swoosh!

Plup!

He dodge the attack and swing the axe in his hand to the madman's neck, plunging it deep into her neck.

Thud!

Pulling the axe from the neck of the madman, it's body fall to the ground as a dark shadow rush out of it and plunge into Vale's body.

Vale didn't care as he know that this thing cannot hurt him but the other madman where.

He ready himself for the next wave of attack.

2 madman attack at the same tim one has a bloodied broken glass as a weapon and other has a bloodied pen that's likely stab someone, they didn't give Vale's a chance to breath.

Gritting his teeth Vale slash at the broken glass wielding madman first as he think it's weapon is the most deadly one.

As he can't move around freely because of his earlier injury.

He can only take the brunt attack from one before attacking the other.

Swoosh!

Tuck!

Splurt!

Vale swung the fire axe at his right where the glass wielding madman is coming.

Axe slip into the madman's head and blood splurted.

The other madman treat this as an opportunity and stab his bloodied pen to Vale's eye.

How could Vale let this madman succeed?

Vale dodge the madman attack trajectory via pulling his body away from the attack.

So the pen only stab into Vale's shoulder.

"Ahhh!!"

"That's hurts! Bastard"

The not so dangerous pen plunge it self util it reach the bone of Vale's shoulder, bringing intense pain.
