Chapter 6: Information

Vale swung his axe again in anger towards the one who stab him with a pen.

Hack!

Vale swung his axe again at the madman to vent his anger.

'Shit! Who said being stab by a pen is much better than being stab by a glass?'

'Damn it!'

Vale eye the last madman approaching him.

He forced himself to remain standing even do his body is aching all over because of injury and over use of his body potential.

His muscles all over already tear apart multiple times, if not from the healing capabilities he has gain just now then he was good as dead right now.

Seeing the bastard madman close to him, Vale positioned himself.

"Take this!"

Vale throw his axe to the head of the madman, as the distance between him and the madman is closing.

Whoosh!

The madman didn't dodge... Or rather cannot react in time as an axe is thrown towards it's head.

Blood flowed like a fountain from the head of the madman.

Huff!

Vale take a shaky breath as the fight ended.

He lay towards a corner after limping towards the last madman and taking his axe from it's head.

He want to close his eyes and rest here but he forced himself not to as it was a dangerous area!

Who knows when he close his eyes, a madman will walk in and smash his head!

So he limp towards a place where he thought was safe to rest and enter it.

It was the fast food restaurant he entered before this hell started.

Well it maybe not safe, but what place in this mall is safe? All walls here is made of see through glass!

Vale lay his body at the very back of the restaurant table where he was put of view.

Before chosing his eyes, he look at his left leg that slowly healing but still twisted.

He thought of aligning it's position so it can heal normally so he did just that!

Crack!

Oh my holy cow!

He force himself to not make noise anymore and keep the pain himself.

Soon he fell asleep... Maybe it's because of stress and his heavy injury... Or other things, who knows...

Vale open his eyes again!

It was already night outside.

The eerie quiet street, covered with blood and meat, is giving off a horror vibe that keeps the people around creeps andfear.

"It's already 2 am in the morning!"

Vale whisper beneath his breath as he collect and plan for the next step in his head.

"Now, I seems to become... Hmm... Inhuman?"

Vale muttered as he look at his body that seems no injury has taken place in it before.

But he knew about his situation before and how pathetic his situation is.

But now... His body seems no problem has happen, his skin looks new and his body don't have broken bones it had before.

He felt as if, being reborn.

Vale stop looking at his body as he walk out from the fast food.

He walk straight with no limping what's so ever, the felling is so odd for him .

"Having a fast healing ability is really good."

Vale cannot help but sigh.

If not because of this ability then... He might really die here.

He also notice a faint black smoke emitting from his body that seems to not get blown away. "What's this?"

Vale tried to swat away the black smoke from his body to no avail as it continues to stay close to him.

"It will not harm me is it?"

Vale contemplate for a moment before shifting his attention on outside world.

The mall and the road outside is giving him creeps, there was no sound of living or anything that can give him comfort that he was not alone.

Only the flickering lights and crow crowing in the night sky eating the meat strewn all over the road.

He don't know if there was other people still alive here or possessed individual here lurking in any nearby.

Vale subconscious wanted to find people to soothe his fear of the dark and loneliness....

Yes he was afraid of the dark!

No matter how fearless he was before, he was still Vale that scorn ghost in the morning saying he's not afraid and even want to hunt some.

But when the night struck... He will shiver in fear thinking there was ghost always watching him, waiting to devour him.

Vale pull his phone from his pocket to search for news about the situation outside.

Thank God his phone only has a crack screen.

There was still 48% percent left and the signal was still working just fine.

He pray to god that the situation outside is not that worse and the government gaining the upper hand.

Vale read the familiar information in the news page one after another.

His brows frown when he read a new information.
