Mark struck his dagger aimed at jaydes neck just when he thought he was successful the moment his dagger was about to make contact jaydes figure dissolved into the shadows, appearing at a corner of the room but Nicholas had already anticipated this, jayde barely appeared when he whipped his giant hammer sending him flying.

His arms were decapitated, and confusion colored his face, what the hell happened? Looking beside him Jayde was there his blade inches away from his head, Nicholas wasn't a fool he knew when to give up, and immediately dodging the attack he bowed.

Seeing this jayde stopped attacking him, instead, he was looking at a corner that seemed empty, it was then Nicholas noticed both Mark and Phia weren't in sight.

Marks back was matted with sweat 'How is this guy seeing me' he thought, shaking his head well he might be able to see me but it would be a different story for Sis.

If one saw both his and his sister's talent one would mistake it to be the same meanwhile it was far different he could change the state of his body making it intangible, allowing him to pass through solid or physical surfaces, and after his awakening, he was able to pass through void also, and he could also hide in void making himself invisible to the eye, but his sister though was different she could cease to exist erasing her presence from the world though she can't bypass physical surfaces like him, she would be undetectable once she vanished, and unlike him who needed to reveal himself before he attacks same couldn't be said for her, and her attacks weren't normal they didn't deal damage to the body, no they attacked the soul directly.

Sensing something Jayde dodged to the side, his brows furrowed as he continued weaving, to the spectators it was as though he was just dodging nothing but air, but Mark knew it was hard to believe it was happening non the less this guy was dodging his sister's attack!.

Gritting his teeth Mark's voice rang out from the void "Let's attack together, that way he won't stand a chance" he had just made the statement when an ethereal sword formed in jades hands as it lunged at the air, following which Phia appeared the sword could be seen passing right through her abdomen.

Mark was in shock How? When his sister was using her talent physical weapons couldn't harm her, the sword wasn't physical he looked closely he could see the sword flickering it looked like a shadow. His thoughts had barely caught up when Jayde directed his gaze towards his direction, and the same sword that struck his sister had at some point appeared in front of him as it morphed into a club in Jayde's arms and he swung.

Mark was blasted out of the void bashing into the other room his fate unknown, jaydes voice rang out "Let's wrap this up shall we?" the others on hearing this tensed but before any of them could react, jaydes crimson blade pulsed as the ability which he stole from the sea mantis was used for the first time since its acquisition, a shadow spike lunged out of their shadows too fast for any of them to react, piercing through their knee they all bowed in unison- well not all of them as one still stood it was no other than james grimgar.

Jayde seeing this didn't say anything he just gazed at him preparing to unleash a follow-up attack, but James spoke "Forget it I can't beat you" following which he bowed.

Now within the room, it was quite a sight, eight individuals kneeling only one standing as for the other one whether he was unconscious or dead was still unknown.

"See that wasn't so hard" Jayde stated "Now that we've gotten that past us let's get to the main deal" Jayde walked to his table from his drawer he removed an ether crystal which he crushed, runic lines lit up in the room, as the ether concentration multiplied, hastening their recovery.

Recovering quickly they all stood back up, "By now Elior would have delivered the resources you need to your rooms, at this stage you guys are too weak to handle what is coming, within three days we are estimated to be under attack" Jayde paused as he walked to the corner bringing out an item, it looked like a stopwatch.

"While it will cost me I've taken measures to buy us time, so the three days will be extended to thirty, at the end of the thirty days I would be expecting you all to have surpassed your limits, and at the end, if the attack doesn't come, we'll be taking the attack to them" looking at them he could sense their curiosity, they were probably wondering who the so-called attacker was, but for now he had decided not to tell them yet, at this stage they weren't qualified to know.

"that's all you're dismissed" following which they exited the room. Looking at their backs Jayde sighed, they weren't the only ones who needed growth he too had to grow stronger, after all for all he knew the Minoan he fought could have just been a regular foot soldier.

Looking at the stopwatch, this was a trinket on which he had inscribed a time zoning formation on, with this he could warp the island into a time zone where the time dilation would be one to ten, and with this the three days would be extended to thirty days, looking through the windows "let's get started now shall we, our training arc".

One had to remember Elior was an alter, one who could set rules in his marked territory, and it just happened that when Jayde was away, he had marked the mansion, putting up several rules and one of them was set in place to make the place indestructible, and just now, it was unknown how but Jayde just forcefully broke his rules as though it was nothing, which led to the backlash he was currently facing.

But even in his condition Elior smiled as expected of his lord, nothing could shackle him not even an alter, cleaning his mouth set stood up and continued moving, delivering goods to the rooms of all the nine newcomers, there was no doubt in his mind that Jayde would subdue them all.

After he was done with that he moved to his next and most important task of all, he had to select the next ten who would be entering the dungeon next, it was a given that he and Jayde's aunt would be up next now his task was to choose the remaining eight who would accompany them.
