Though Task

Finally after dismissing the nine jayde retired to his room, just as he had designed a training plan for those nine he had done the same for himself also.

He had to get much stronger before the span of a month, so based on that he had decided on the three things he had to focus on till then, which were, his shadow comprehension, his plane, and his inscriptions.

Before then he had the elevate these three things. His shadow-mancer title not only provided him an innate shadow constitution he had also gained information on the ten levels of shadow comprehension, apparently each level was the ten percent of the comprehension as they were as follows.

Shadow sense (10%)

Shadow Intent (20%)

Shadow field (30%)

Shadow domain (40%)

Shadow Realm (50%)

Shadow Breath (60%)

Shadow soul (70%)

Shadow world (80%)

Shadow drain (90%)

Shadow deity (100%)

Thanks to this information, he got on each shadow level was a big help one of the problems he had previously in his comprehension of shadow was the fact that he didn't know how to progress, he was always flying blind with his comprehension, and he required to encounter extreme situations before he could advance.

But now just by the name he already had a vague idea of what each level constrained, one of the very first issues when trying to understand a subject was naturally knowing the name of the subject, and now that Jayde had gotten past this hurdle, his comprehension speed would skyrocket, he was planning on reaching the shadow realm within ten days, normally this would have been a tough task but with the boost his title gave him and the item shadow lamp which increased the density of shadows in an area such a goal was very plausible.

After this, he would focus on his plane, and his battle technique he needed to incorporate his knew ability to meld and travel through shadows into his battle style, and now he had to work on his flexibility so that if paired with his shadow travel his attack options would broaden.

Then finally he had to work on his inscription, one of the reasons he had gotten this far in the first place was his knowledge of inscriptions, from the dungeon opening to ether crystal formations and even his time-altering trinket were all a result of his knowledge on inscriptions.

After he had resolved his mind and determined his goal of becoming Earth's strongest, it got him thinking about what cards he had to play to beat these ancient civilizations, after all, it was a given that they would be the greatest obstacles he would face on his journey in claiming the title of the worlds strongest.

And from what he had seen these guys had advantages which put them on levels that he couldn't breach as he was now, and credit had to be given where it was due when it came to battle those guys were terrifying he had tasted a piece of their battle styles first hand, in his battle with the intruder he had not landed a single blow on him not even once, the man had managed to parry every single thing, it made him realize that hoping to beat them with pure skill though it was possible it was still out of reach for the current him, after all he was facing beings who martial arts originated from.

And let's not even talk about their weapons, though present-day humanity could create weapons such as swords and spears those who could do so were pitifully few, and even those who could craft such weapons couldn't compare to the very beings that invented such weapons.

Ancient civilizations were the origin of almost everything modern humans had from technology to martial arts, to even alchemy, they were on a whole other level. But there was one thing modern humans had created all on their own, and it was their advanced weapons such as guns, lasers and the like, but the problem was that since the descent of the sequence such things were rendered ineffective, and even if they were still functioning they would hardly be able to cause any harm to even low-level creature talk-less of those ancient bastards.

But with his knowledge of the future, he knew how frightening modern weapons became when they were adapted into the sequence. This was why he had gotten himself an outstanding forge master pairing this with his knowledge of inscriptions, he was planning on reviving modern weapons and not only that he was going to push these technologies past their previous heights, but he was also going to teach those ancient fools true fear he was going to make them understand that present day humans weren't in any way inferior to them. And with that, he began his cultivation.

Unlike the other nine Nicholas stayed in the basement of the mansion, on returning from the meeting Nicholas's mind was still reeling from, the event that just took place, "to think that guy was that strong" he mused as he recalled the fiendish eyes of Jayde just when he was about to be beheaded if he had been slow by even a second…. he shivered now he knew the meaning of the saying no matter how good you get there's someone better.

He rubbed his arm, and due to the high concentration of ether he was able to reattach the arm, though it wasn't completely healed it was still getting better, It was then something at the corner of the room that caught his eyes.

It was a heap of metal ores and ether crystals, there were also some scrolls at the corner, then he recalled what Jayde had said about him sending Elior to put the resources they needed into their rooms, but though he had expected some ether crystals or some form of cultivation resources he never expected this much and there were metal ores among them ones that he had never seen, he quickly grabbed one as he inspected it, due to his talent he could discern the properties of metals and their attributes, but on inspecting the metal in his arms his eyes shone.

This metal was a unique metal that had elemental properties, something that was not supposed to exist before the second phase of the sequence, back when the sequence bestowed him one as a reward for awakening as a savant, he could guess how rare this was, and right in front of him was a heap of them.

He was in awe as he thought "How did this new boss of his accomplish this", shaking his head he cleared his thoughts there was no need to think too much, as Jayde said they had a month to improve, he didn't have tme to waste, quickly he went through the scrolls by the side, one of them was a cultivation art called primal chaos art, as for the rest? They were all blueprints.

Nicholas was in awe at how magnificent such designs were, but his brows furrowed looking at some he could see blueprints of gun parts, they were even some for snipers heck he could even see a blueprint for a robot, what the heck! From what he was told modern-day tech was useless since the descent of the sequence, what was that guy thinking, though he had to admit these designs were sick what was the use if they couldn't get them to work?

He sighed warily, the next thirty days were going to be exciting, removing his shirt he smiled, well he didn't need to bother about what Jayde was thinking, his job was to deliver and he would. A hammer and a table appeared in his view, and immediately he got to work as the resounding sound of metal clashing rang out.
