The Secret House

As he approached the remote house with the dark exterior, he can't help but feel a sense of mystery and intrigue. It was his first time coming here. He meets an older man-his father- waiting for him by the door, his fine features and refined manner making him look much younger than his age. He invited jim in, leading him to a room with a surprisingly warm and inviting interior.

Inside, he saw a large bathtub filled with shimmering water, and he didn't need to be told what was in it for him to know. In it, a merman with shiny, glassy tails lounges comfortably. His eyes met his, and he can't help but feel drawn to his alluring presence.

The older man gestures towards the merman, a gentle smile on his face. "Meet our guest," he says. "He has been with us for quite some time now."

Asahi sit down on a nearby chair, unable to tear his eyes away from the mesmerizing creature in the bathtub. The older man begins a conversation with the merman, their voices low and murmuring.

"Would you like some food?" The older man asks, gesturing towards a tray of delicious looking snacks on a nearby table.

The merman shakes his head, his expression unreadable. "No, thank you," he replies softly.

The older man nods understandingly, continuing to talk to the merman in hushed tones. Asahi can't help but wonder about the nature of their relationship--not that he didn't know-- and the secrets that lie beneath the surface.

As he sat there, a sense of curiosity and mystery washes over him. Why is this merman hiding here and what exactly is he going to do in this remote house with his dad? He felt a strong urge to unravel the enigma that surrounds them, to uncover the truth hidden within their strange and captivating interaction. He was not happy with the decision of keeping them s a secret from Hinata. But he had to, if he wants Hinata to live.

But for now, all he can do is sit and listen, letting the mystery of the merman and his dad wash over him like the shimmering waters in the bathtub.

" Asahi," Leon asked. Leon Mitsuaki, also known as Hinata's dad, called looking in the direction of his lover's son.

" I'm sorry we had to meet like this after all these years. I know it's not convenient to keep this away from my baby but his safety is more important. Thank you for agreeing to meet me and thank you for taking care of my son," he said.

" I'm only doing this for Hinata sake," Asahi replied. " And don't call him your baby, he's mine now," he mumbled making Leon to chuckle and Sol- Asahi's dad- laughed.

" That's my son," he said smiling.

" So what exactly is the plan, do you just plan to remain in hiding?" Asahi asked.

" No, but any reckless moves will make our efforts in vain. Everyone still thinks I'm dead. I don't trust my wife either. I think she has something to do with the incident... Asahi, please can you keep Haruki and Hinata away from her till we've cleared things on our path?"

" Sure, anything for you. How are you feeling now?"

" Recovering faster than expected,"

" Wow these people are crazy, real crazy,"

" Now, now, leave him alone, go to your Hinata and leave Leon alone to me." Sol said, already jealous that Leon's attention was on his son, Asahi, and not him.

Asahi rolled his eyes at his dad, pecked Leon on the cheeks as a goodbye and made his way out.

" That brat....." Sol, said and went over to Leon. " Why won't you eat bae?" He asked softly.

" Don't feel like it," Leon replied and rested his head on the water pillow. He closed his eyes closed as he couldn't help but worry about his children. Hinata would transform on his eighteenth birthday. They had less than two years to clear all anomaly.

Sol reached out to Leon's head and massaged it softly, whispering loving words to soothe his worry.

Leon was the type to get overly worried. When he heard of the changes his death brought to Hinata, he wanted to make his way out to meet his son, right then and there, but he was stopped. Not only because it was a stupid and dangerous move, he had just woken up from seven years of coma. His body was unexplainably weak. He could barely move.

Sol had been taking care of him, throughout the ten years, right from the beginning of the unfortunate incident.

An incident, none of them wish to remember, but cannot forget. An incident that should remain unknown but cannot be hidden. An incident that should be buried but cannot be ignored.

" I'm hungry," Leon said after minutes of silence. A silence that had become common among them. Each of them in their own little world, one worrying, the other finding ways for safety, revenge.

Sol fed Leon his food. Leon can be exceptionally whiny and clingy. After eating, he kissed Leon and took him out of the water, to the bathroom. Leon could only regain his legs in the night, that's why he has to spend his days in the bathtub. At least until he was fully recoverd.

Leon laid his head on Sol's chest and drifted off to sleep.

After hours of silence, Leon starts shivering and muttering, the usual nightmare back to torment him.
