DREAM
"Well let's forget about all this and play with the water. I can hear it calling us. You should be able to hear it when you're older, cause you my boy are no ordinary boy. I love you," he said and made his way to the water.
" We're not swimming freestyle today Hina," he said as he got close to the water. " I'm teaching the other three okay?" He added.
" Let's just swim free, dad," Hinata replied pouting and his dad chuckled at his cute son.
" No baby, no freestyle today." He said firmly but teasingly.
Just as he entered the water, the wind started getting heavier. He tried to compose himself not to alarm and scare Hinata.
He planned to swim steadily to the shore to meet his son, but the water had a different plan for him.
He knew what was happening but didn't want to alarm Hinata. At least not draw the attacker's attention to Hinata too. He saw Hinata make his way into the water after dropping his phone. He couldn't stop him but there was nothing he could do.
His legs changed to a shiny, glassy tail, known to be possessed by merfolk royals. That was when he felt it, the sharp sting at the back of his neck. He knew he was doomed. But still, despite the rapid drain of power and energy, he was a bale to create a little surge of current that kept Hinata close to the shore, and when he saw someone helping Hinata, he finally gave up, " Sol, help me" he muttered and fell into a deep slumber."
Leon was heaving heavily, his chest hurt like it was being compressed. His body wet with sweat. This damn feeling has been occuring since the last three years when he woke up and every fucking time felt like yesterday. Sol was always there for him. He had always been. He hugged Leon trying to calm his cries down.
" I...I'm tired Sol, I...do..don't want to h...have these nightmares anymore, I don't," he cried, his voice barely audible clinging onto Sol like his life depended on it.
" I know bae, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I'm useless, I can't even protect you against your nightmares. It'll be over soon I promise." Sol replied, cuddling Leon, whispering loving words, confessing his love and promises over and over till Leon finally fell asleep.
It was an everyday routine. One that would make things easier, if it didn't happen. He cleaned Leon's body, changed his clothes and took him to another room, for him to sleep on a cleaner and more comfortable bed.

As the sun began to peek through the curtains of the dimly lit room, he watched in awe as the soft rays illuminated Hinata's sleeping face. His features were peaceful and serene, his chest rising and falling gently with each breath he took.
He couldn't help but reach out a trembling hand to trace the contours of his face, his fingers dancing lightly over his closed eyelids, down the bridge of his nose, and finally coming to rest on his full, rosy lips. The intimacy of the moment sent a shiver down his spine, a feeling of both exhilaration and fear coursing through his veins.
Every line and curve of his face told a story, a story of love, laughter, and pain. He could almost see the memories etched into his skin, the joy of their first date, the tears that'll inevitably be shed during their fights that is yet to come, and the unspoken words of devotion that passed between them in the silence of the night.
But as he continued to trace his sleeping face, he couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled in the pit of his stomach. Something was off, he could feel it in the air, a sense of impending danger that hovered around them like a dark cloud.
Suddenly, a noise from outside the room shattered the stillness of the moment, causing her to stir in her sleep. His heart raced as he quickly pulled his hand away, his mind racing with fear and uncertainty. Had someone been watching them? Was their love story about to take a tragic turn? When it has not even had the chance to blossom fully?
As Hinata slowly opened his eyes and smiled sleepily up at him, Asahi pushed away his doubts and fears, determined to protect him at all costs. Whatever dangers lay ahead, he vowed to face them head-on, to keep their love alive and thriving in the face of adversity.
And so, as Hinata drifted back to sleep in his arms, Asahi made a silent promise to himself to always be there for him, to trace his sleeping face for as long as he lived, and to never let anything come between them ever again. Their love was a force to be reckoned with, a bond that could withstand even the darkest of times. And as he held him close, he knew that together, they could conquer anything that came their way.
