Hinata had been anxiously counting down the days until his eighteenth birthday. He couldn't wait to finally be considered an adult and have the freedom to make his own decisions. He had always felt constrained by the rules and expectations of his mom, everyone in particular, and he yearned for the day he'll be allowed to make his own
As the day approached, Hinata's excitement grew, as well as Haruki, Asahi and the rest of the team. They had began making plans for how he would celebrate this momentous occasion. They wanted to throw a big party with all his friends-- not that he had one--drink and dance the night away. He had wanted to have the party at a secluded cabin in the woods, away from prying eyes of his mom, but she had to ruin it and insist they have the party at home.
On the day of his birthday, Hinata woke up early, his heart pounding with anticipation.
" Happy birthday lil bro," Haruki said grinning happily and Hinata glared at him.
" C'mon stop calling him little," Takahara said as he held Haruki by the waist and gave him a kiss on the head.
" Where's Asahi?" Hinata asked worriedly.
" He should be here very soon. He was supposed to be here by midnight but something came up." Haruki replied but didn't fail to see the hint of sadness on his brother's face.
" Don't worry, your boyfriend is fine and will be here soon," Haruki said, and Hinata hummed in reply.
Hinata went back to his room and started dressing for the party. The guests had started to come. Hinata was honestly happy and grateful for their presence. He was still sad he had not seen his love though.
As Asahi drove there, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. There was a sense of foreboding that hung heavy in the air, but he brushed it off as nerves. After all Leon said today should be free of danger as long as Arie was far away from Hinata and Haruki. Well she sure as hell wouldn't get close to Hinata cause Asahi planned to stock him throughout the night. And he trusts Takahara to take care of Haruki, after all he was crazy-possessive.
Asahi made his way to see his baby, the birthday boy.
" Happy birthday baby, I'm sorry I'm late," Asahi said, hugging Hinata. " I had a sudden problem to deal with, I promise I came here right after." He added.
" You weren't the first person to wish me," Hinata said pouting as he looked at Asahi with glint of tears in his eyes.
Asahi kissed his eyes, then moved to his nose, his cheeks, his jaw, then his chin. He made great effort not to kiss his lips.
Hinata on the other hand was becoming frustrated, and clashes his lips on Asahi's, his tongue requesting entrance.
Asahi smirked at this, " someone's being naughty huh?" Asahi smirked.
" Hmm.... Kiss me please..hmm..please daddy," Hinata said whimpering with need, licking his lover's lips seductively.
That broke every resolve Asahi was trying to hold onto, he kissed his baby fiercely, sucking on his tongue, lips and every corner in Hinata's mouth. Hinata moaned into his mouth, his legs giving out as he clung onto Asahi.
The knock on the door made Asahi release him slowly. Hinata didn't want to end their kiss, he wanted to hold on, as if he he pulled it might be their last kiss. But still he reluctantly pulled away.
" We'll be down soon," Asahi yelled.
" So we're you able to solve the issue that came up?" Hinata asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
" Yes baby, I was." Asahi replied as he hugged him, guiding him outside.
The party was beginning, everything was going smoothly, or so they thought.
" Mom should be here by now, where is she?" Haruki asked worriedly.
" Why do you care. I don't need her here," Hinata sat d without a care. He truly didn't care for his mother.
Asahi scowled when Haruki mentioned the word " mom". Oh if only he knew his so called mother was outright evil. The devil herself. Takahara couldn't help but help but notice the scowl on Asahi's face. He had been briefed about things. Not fully informed though.
They continued merrying. Completely oblivious to the dangers lurking inches away from them.
As the clock struck midnight, Hinata felt a sudden wave of dizziness wash over him. They all felt it. The air was filled with painless screams. Hinata stumbled and fell, his head spinning with confusion. Asahi rushed to his side, trying to help him up, but Hinata could barely hear their voices over the pounding in his ears. The drug had stared taking effect on Asahi but he struggled to keep his consciousness. Everyone was on the floor already.
As Hinata was still trying to figure out what happened as he lay in Asahi's arms, he saw it. The familiar figure of the woman who birthed him, it was blurry but he was damn sure. He hated the woman and can single her out in the midst of a thousand people. Now he was more convinced that this woman was a devil.
And then, everything went black.
When Hinata woke up, he found himself in a dark, unfamiliar room. He was tied to a chair, his hands bound behind his back. Panic surged through him as he struggled against his restraints, but they held fast. He called out for help, but there was no response.
Hours passed in a blur of fear and confusion. Hinata had no idea where he was or why he had been taken. He was consumed by a sense of dread, knowing that he was in grave danger. The shadows seemed to grow thicker around him, pressing in on all sides, suffocating him with their malevolence.
Just when Hinata thought he couldn't take it any longer, a door creaked open and a figure stepped into the room. It was a tall, shadowy figure, cloaked in darkness. Hinata's heart hammered in his chest as he tried to make out the features of the mysterious intruder.
The figure approached him slowly, its movements deliberate and menacing. It reached out a hand and brushed a finger against Hinata's cheek, a cold shiver running down his spine. And then, it spoke in a voice that sent chills down his spine.
You have finally turned eighteen, Hinata, the figure murmured.
