Chapter 4 - Boyfriend

It was morning, and students were heading to their classes when Jeeva called out to Kaliyug from behind.

"Hey, Kaliyug!" she shouted.

"Oh, Jeeva, how are you?" Kaliyug turned to greet her.

"I have music class today, and there's no morning class, so I'll meet you in two hours. Take care until then!" she said before leaving.

Kaliyug headed to his class, but just then, he saw Vinoy in front of him.

"Hello, Kaliyug!" Vinoy greeted him.

"Hello, Mr. Raja!" Kaliyug replied.

"You can just call me Vinoy," he smiled.

"Kabir told me you're great at football. Actually, we need a player for our team today!" Vinoy said.

"Actually, I've stopped playing football. You should find someone else," Kaliyug replied, starting to walk away.

"You don't need to play, just stand there," Vinoy said, stopping him.

Reluctantly, Kaliyug agreed, putting on a football uniform and standing next to Vinoy. The game started, and the opposing player charged toward Vinoy's net at top speed. Kaliyug, with surprising agility, slid past the player and grabbed the ball. But as he tried to make his way across the field, one of the other players turned himself into stone, grabbed Kaliyug, and threw him away. As Kaliyug stood up, the same player attacked him again, knocking him into the air.

Vinoy's team did nothing to help, instead pushing Kaliyug down when he tried to fight back. Realizing this wasn't a game, Kaliyug wiped the blood from his mouth and tried to leave, but he was trapped inside a yellow mug.

"Where are you going?" Vinoy asked.

"I'm leaving. This isn't a game, you're just beating me!" Kaliyug said.

The more he tried to escape, the smaller the glass got, causing him more pain. Soon, a rope was pulled off, and the boys surrounded him, beating him as the entire school watched. Some students felt bad for Kaliyug but were too scared to act.

Kaliyug was becoming unconscious, and in his blurred vision, he saw boys bring a wooden cross, just like the one Jesus Christ was nailed to. They drove nails into Kaliyug's hands and feet. His screams echoed, but soon the students were silent, some even in tears. The punishment was brutal.

"From now on, anyone who tries to come between me and Jeeva will face the same fate. Jeeva is mine, understood?" Vinoy shouted to the crowd. Everyone stood in fear.

"Take him down," Vinoy ordered. The boys lowered Kaliyug, and Vinoy kicked him in the face. "This is your place—you're nothing to me!" he sneered.

But then something unexpected happened. Vinoy felt himself lifted into the air and thrown. Everyone turned to see Jeeva, standing before them with tears in her eyes.

A boy charged toward Jeeva like the wind, but she dodged him, breaking his arm and sending him flying with a powerful kick. The others rushed at her, but with a glance, each of them received a deep gash across their chests and collapsed in a pool of blood.

Jeeva walked over to Kaliyug's unconscious form. "Kaliyug," she whispered softly.

Suddenly, she was trapped in a cage, but with a single punch, she shattered it, injuring her hand. She ran to Vinoy and punched him hard in the face, grabbing him by the collar and throwing him onto the wooden cross where Kaliyug had been hung. The wood cracked.

Jeeva hit Vinoy again, then sat beside Kaliyug, gently resting his head in her lap.

"Listen to me, everyone," she screamed, her voice filled with rage, "This is my boyfriend, Kaliyug. If anyone dares hurt him, I will break their arms and legs and throw them aside. Yes, I love him!" she declared, her voice ringing through the school.

She picked Kaliyug up and carried him to the medical room.

Later that evening, Kaliyug was weak from blood loss. The doctor advised him to stay at home for five days to recover. Jeeva stayed by his side, taking care of him. She fed him and stayed with him constantly, and Kaliyug, moved by her care, began to cry.

"You haven't been to school for four days, Jeeva. You should go today," Kaliyug said, gently pulling her into his arms.

"I'm not leaving you. Do you understand?" Jeeva replied, holding him tightly.

"I'll be fine. I'll be back tomorrow," Kaliyug smiled.

Jeeva reluctantly agreed but still pouted, "Why are you so stubborn?"

"Don't worry about me. You have to go. You don't want your attendance to drop. You know how serious you are about being number one!" Kaliyug teased, finally coaxing her to get up.

At school the next day, Jeeva walked in and immediately felt the eyes of everyone on her. Whispers filled the halls as students stared at her and Kaliyug, who was also wearing black glasses.

"I'm going to the library to grab a book, but don't start playing football with anyone!" Jeeva laughed before walking away.

Kaliyug made his way to the rooftop and started playing games on his phone.

Meanwhile, Vinoy went to the principal to complain about the cursed prince book, which led to Jeeva being summoned to the principal's office.

When she entered, a lady stood with the principal.

"Hello, I'm Professor Julia," the woman said, motioning for Jeeva to sit.

"Hello, ma'am," Jeeva replied.

"Jeeva, the book you have—the Cursed Prince—is illegal. Do you know the significance of this? A murderer with powers like yours has killed two people, and there are rumors that the Cursed Prince has returned. This book in your possession could bring disrepute to the school," Professor Julia said seriously. "You're being suspended for seven days as a result."

Jeeva handed over the book and left the office, feeling helpless.

Meanwhile, Kaliyug was sitting on the terrace when he received a call from Jeeva.

"Hey, where are you? I've been waiting for you!" Kaliyug asked impatiently.

"Come to the main door quickly!" Jeeva said, hanging up.

When Kaliyug reached the door, he was shocked to find Jeeva standing there with her luggage.

"What happened, Jeeva?" he asked, worried.

"Vinoy reported that I had the cursed prince book. Now, I've been suspended for seven days. I'm going back home, but take care of yourself. If anything happens, call me on video," Jeeva said, tears streaming down her face.

Kaliyug hugged her. "I'm fine, don't worry. You go without any concern."

Jeeva kissed Kaliyug on the lips and left in a car. Kaliyug watched her drive away, his heart heavy.
