Chapter 7

Mr. Langdon confronted me as soon as he saw me, demanding to know what happened and why his daughter was in a car accident.

I calmly replied, "If you want to know why your daughter was in a car accident, you should ask her. We've been separated for a while now. Or, you could ask him - they're living together now."

Hearing my words, Kael's eyes narrowed slightly. He clearly hadn't expected that I already knew about this.

"Uncle, Auntie, don't listen to his nonsense. Recently, because of Nolan, my senior's mood has been terrible. I was worried she might do something rash, so I went to her place to take care of her. We drank a lot together, and after getting drunk, we slept in the same bed, but we just slept - nothing happened! Our relationship isn't nearly as sordid as he's making it out to be!"
