Looking for Phoenix

Jasper:

Within a day, I was mostly back to myself, but the aching feeling for Phoenix didn't go away; rather, it got worse.

I missed her presence, the way she lit up a room by simply being there. The comfort she brought with her existence was something I could never replace.

"Where are you going?" Lita asks as I order a coffee before leaving the settlement.

I had to find her. I needed to understand why she left me at the very least.

"I'm going to find Phoenix. There's only two places I can think of where she would be at," I sigh.

Lita looks at me curiously with a small smile on her face. This cafe was one of Phoenix's favorite places. Whether it was because of Lita or the coffee itself, I'll never know.

"Where do you think that might be?" she asks.

She knows where she went; she is simply checking to see if I'm on the right track, which annoys me, but I'll take advantage of her body language to my response.
