"All this time he's just playing around with me," Wrathful Slug murmured with a daunting atmosphere tremor through his lower limbs.
"Even though he is a new hero, it seems he already has a lot of experience," Wrathful Slug added, darting his stare toward Viscable who swiftly hovered in his direction and opened his magenta-glittered palms that spread a large gust of particles.
Wrathful Slug swallowed his saliva and continued, "I don't know what to do right now especially since he is still unfazed by all this?"
"Escaping will not be a great idea too," Wrathful Slug murmured.
The Ace Duelist paused his approaching fleet and curiously tilted his head toward Wrathful Slug, sensing the dread lingering in his foe. He materialized the magenta string on his right palm, commanding to stitch on one of the white glassy shards on the backpack. Boisterous red steam below from the chosen shard dispatched from the backpack.
Afterward, the shard dragged upward by the strings until it magnetically patched on Viscable's palms. The supporting strings dispersed into thin air when The Ace Duelist hoisted the shard forward, emanating the glimmering flow of magenta energies gathering on the acute tip.
"Do you still have a spirit to continue this fight, low-life insect," The Ace Duelist asked with an intimidating demeanor. He positioned the overflowing shard to lock at Wrathful Slug who could only shiver.
Wrathful Slug groaned and muttered, "Seems you are not a common beginner aren't you, Prideful Bastard."
"Long story short, I trained myself for 10 years," The Ace Duelist admitted, flashing a blanketing magenta gleam on the shard.
Viscable chortled and brazenly pointed his fingers to himself, "My purpose is simple. I desired to become the absolute best one."
"What…the? you think being a Superhero is just a game for fulfilling your pride?" Wrathful Slug argued. "No tragic stuff happened or something else?"
"I don't need tragedy to motivate me, low-life insect!" Viscable uttered and shouted, "Any living being who is deemed as a powerful opponent will be crushed by my hand!"
"Starting with you," The Ace Duelist lowered his voice, gushing a large round of particles from the middle of the glassy shard.
Anxiousness might still invade The Insectoid Caster, but he abruptly declared a high-pitched laughter. The laughter continued until it made Wrathful Slug shed tears, emanating the yellowish bolt on the legs. He even elastically folded them to touch his spine, flapping his wings.
Instead of being drowned in fear, The Insectoid Caster regained a pluck spirit as he wiped the tears and darted his glare. Even though a chance to claim the victory was possibly very slim, a bold determination took over Wrathful Slug, sluggishly gliding closer to his indestructible foe.
"You said that your primary goal to become a Superhero is for your pride?!" The Insectoid Caster began to ask with a delirium consuming his voice. "Then, I'm not throwing away my pride too in this battle."
"Despite you already won the battle, I won't go down without putting up a fight," Wrathful Slug proclaimed.
Wrathful Slug grunted, "Someday I will become even stronger than you and even the rest of Triumph Maker!!"
The Ace Duelist giggled and praised, "Quite a smart choice. I thought you were more like a coward bug."
"A good opportunity for me to crush you!" The Ace Duelist spoke, hushedly watching Wrathful Slug flipping his bolting leg to the left.
A giant slashing wave was liberated, followed by the second one when Wrathful Slug rolled to the right. Viscable promptly dashed to the front to evade the first slashing wave before he encountered the second one that closed enough to slash him in half. He hastily hoisted the shard and released the magenta beam to the slashing wave, incinerating it into nothingness.
"Let's pulverize this low-life bug for good, Ace Eradicator Cannon!!" The Ace Duelist chanted with a whisper.
Hence, the shard continued to discharge the gathering magenta energy on its tip. More magenta energy was gathered until it finally cracked the glassy containing frame, unraveling the flooding magenta blast and leaving only the handler attaching to his palm that wasn't crumbled. The Ace Duelist firmly centered his empowered shard on the shocked Wrathful Slug.
"I'm…not scared of that, Prideful Bastard!!" Wrathful Slug mocked forcibly, lashing his bolting kick that omitted the large slashing wave.
The Ace Duelist immediately flew faster than the blink of an eye, dodging the slashing wave. He also promptly obtained a direct distance from Wrathful Slug, shoving his charging shard on the front of his insectoid's face. Having the thought of defeat overwhelmed his thoughts, The Insectoid Caster submissively bent his neck down.
"This is how I'm going to be defeated?" Wrathful Slug questioned before he stretched his tarantula arms.
"The only wish I can think of is blast didn't kill me, prideful Bastard." The Insectoid Caster added.
The Ace Duelist chuckled cheerfully and taunted. "No. This blast only gives you the most unforgettable pain."
"You lucky I don't prefer to kill my opponent yet," Viscade teased, pressing the trigger and generating a large wave of magenta energy inside the barrel.
Wrathful Slug grumbled, "You still maintain the usual Superhero moral code then?"
"As I said before it's a simple preference of mine," The Ace Duelist replied proudly and deepened his voice as he resumed his statement. "However, there will be a possibility where I took someone else to pursue my goal."
Wrathful Slug sniggered and whispered, "You're one bizarre individual."
"Ace Eradicator Cannon, let's pulverize this bug from my sight!!" The Ace Duelist eagerly shouted, slowly shoving the surging shard.
The Ace Duelist sighed and loudly cried out, leading him to relentlessly heave the shard, "Absolute Beam of Annihilation!!"
An enormous giant magenta beam was unleashed from the surging shard and it fell upon Wrathful Slug who forcibly accepted his defeat in the battle, closing his eyes. The beam swallowed The Insectoid Caster who shrieked in unbending pain, raising the pitch the longer he endured the heat.
Even though no traces of disintegration were located on his body part, Wrathful Slug still felt his stammering body being burned alive. At last, Viscable Superhero's debut was a great success with him able to master The Ace Duelist's power and put down the criminal who terrorized his city.
After a few hours passed, Teldrium could obtain a quiet atmosphere in the whole area again as many citizens safely roamed around the city, resuming their activities. The emergency alarms rang in the city alongside the alerting warning that disappeared from the citizens' sighting
Moreover, the current video presented from the floating screen above was a recording of a Wrathful Slug put inside the amber, cylinder containment and sunk into the portal below. A bright blue news headline appeared and stated, "The Terror of Wrathful Slug has been ended by The Mysterious Armored Figure Who Now Vanished!!"
The new video moved to the next slide and showed a fancy blue-suit old man who cleared his throat and placed the compile of paper on the holographic rectangular table. He sat on the comfy red light projection chair and fixated his glance on the camera on his front left, preparing to continue the report.
"Even though Wrathful Slug is already sent to the prison, Alda Croft, we still don't know who exactly the person that stopped him," The old man stated, rubbing his chin. "The witness only said that he is a nice person."
"However, there is no confirmation whether this armor person is a foe or ally," He added.
"So we must be careful citizens of Teldrium," The old man remarked, pointing his fingers to the right that projected the levitating picture of Viscable unleashing the huge blast from the rifle.
"Let's hope Triumph Makers could confirm this armored man alignment," The old man added.
The news was not only witnessed by the people in Teldrium, even the outsiders also had time to witness it through their television and other devices. One of the outsiders stayed in the old wooden house that chose its resting place in the middle of the dusty wasteland, miles away from even Gloricon.
More precisely, the news was played through the floating purplish screen that shone a little part of darkness inside the room. The purplish screen revealed a short-brown hair young man with an orange jacket and black leather pants sitting on the green sofa. He expressed his thrilled smile and sharpened his focus toward the picture of Viscable on the right, giggling in excitement.
"He seems pretty interesting," The Young Man stated, leaning his back on the sofa and exhaling a hefty breath. "An interesting and strong person."
"Oh sweet," The Young Man added, igniting the flaring orange energies within his eyes shortly. "I would love to meet this guy and have an awesome duel."
The Young Man clenched his knuckle and uttered, "Besides it's been quite a while since I entered the Superhero world again.
"Facing The Triumph Makers is a tough challenge, but I prefer to fight one on one," The Young Man admitted. "I think this armored man is hopefully suitable."
The Young Man swiftly grabbed the golden-thin necklace with a glossy gray ball resting beside him. He got up from the sofa and tied the necklace onto his neck, vanishing the orange energies in his eyes. Then, The Young Man turned around before he decided to snap his finger, shrinking the purplish projection into nothingness.
"Lorina and Casmine!" The Young Man called out his partners.
"It's time for us to return to Gloricon again." The Young man announced.
"I just found a new interesting individual," The Young Man spoke with sparkling confidence flowing into his throat.
"Someone who is possibly worth it to be dueled with and test my limit too," The Young Man remarked,
The Young Man sighed, "I couldn't wait to observe this guy."
The debut of Viscable could also pose a frightening threat to some people, including a green trenchcoat man who rotated his alerting furrow from left to right. Even when he entered the empty alleyway, he still kept moving his head. He stopped rotating his head as he reached the corner of the alleyway, tapping the purple button on the holographic bracelet.
"This is Sarge," The man whispered, putting closer his bracelet to receive a clearer voice. "I got an urgent report to share with you the great Baron of Uprising Venom."
"Seemingly Teldrium has a new monster who flawlessly defeated Wrathful Slug," Sarge reported. "This new monster is an armored man"
"He possesses super strength, super speed, and strong endurance." Sarge continued.
"I see Sarge, no need to be worried about that kind of Superhuman," The low-pitched robotic voice of the man rang through the bracelet. "Uprising Venom already find a way to counter it."
Sarge sluggishly shook his head and countered, "Unfortunately, that's not all his power, my dear baron."
"He had a weapon that could knock out Wrathful Slug in just one blast. We knew that Wrathful Slug is not some weakling too, my baron" Sarge explained.
"I have a feeling he has more dangerous things than the one he recently showed," Sarge suspected biting his frightened lips.
"Sarge thank you for sharing this urgent information," The Baron responded with a thankful tone. "Seems the goal of conquering Gloricon become harder because of the presence of this armored man."
"Rest easy, Sarge as I will call one of our best soldiers to face this armored hero. I believed he couldn't stand a chance against him," The Baron assured. "And we also got a partner who specializes in dealing with the Superhero matters."
"Tomorrow, let's focus on the invasion first," The Baron added, encouraging his subordinate to wash the stress toward the presence of the new hero.
