An enrapturing atmosphere gusted into Prila the more she locked her eyes toward the stern look of The Inventor. A reddish blush boiled through her cheeks and widened a smile at Gdark who didn't even flinch, only persistently giving a blunt furrow. The twin-tail woman shook her head and proceeded to guffaw briefly.
With the temptation controlling her mind, Prila fluently got up from her chair and sprawled strings of hair from her left ponytail, gently wrapping The Inventor on the neck. The string of hair even aided her in pushing her closer to The Inventor, holding his cheeks that drove Gdark to let out a perplexing whistle.
"Do you still have feelings with me?" Prila whispered and confessed, "I wonder whether you already got someone special from your long journey.
Gdark grinned and taunted, "If I had met a new trophy girl, you wouldn't even dare touch me like this."
Prila blithely cackled and pressed her lips closer, "I prefer you saying it to me honestly, Gdark."
"And I can guess you had ended your relationship with Scrap Devil right?" Gdark guessed, getting up from his chair and assertively landing his holding grips on both The Twintail Girl's arms.
Prila sighed, "You're very observative too, I bet you either ask Layfree or probably research about me."
"2 months ago, we broke up because we just didn't fit as a romantic couple," Prila admitted, gushing out the heavy air from her throat. "He thinks he is not a worthy partner for me because of one horrible incident."
"I still also kept my feelings to you," Prila added. "That's how we decide to change our relationship into a good workmate."
"Ever since elementary school, you persistently held your feelings. Impressive," Gdark praised.
Then, The Inventory assertively pushed Prila from ever landing her kissing lips onto his. It left The Twin-Tail Girl to raise her bemused eyebrows and tilted her head, retreating the strings of her hair.
"Sadly, I prefer not to do it now," Gdark stated sternly.
"We already did the deeds once for your request before I left 10 years ago, I still haven't reached my life goal yet, " Gdark affirmed, clutching his beating chest and pressuring further.
"Since I haven't reached my goal, I cannot claim you as my precious trophy girl," The Inventor reaffirmed, sighing. It's part of the requirement.
Prila groaned and rolled her eyes in heat frustration, "Seriously Gdark!! Come on forget about your non-sensical requirement."
"Also, just stop calling me a trophy girl," Prila scolded, triggering her past lover to cackle.
"It's part of the challenge too, observing whether I can embrace my love with you as quickly as possible or commit to achieving my life goal," Gdark countered, grinning enthusiastically.
"Which is more interesting," Gdark added, bursting out loud laughter."
Prila shook her head, "Damn it, you still think life is all about damn challenge to overcome."
"I bet you once dated a girl because you created some stupid challenges?" Prila guessed with an annoyed tone and raised her left eyebrow, glimmering a pinkish aura on the right side of her hair,
Gdark grinned, "Indeed. The result is she is only suitable as a secondary pleasure object."
"Whatever," Prila uttered, sighing and sheepishly giggling.
"Understandable," Prila uttered, sighing and sheepishly giggling. "To confirm that, I promise I will not date any man or woman as long as you're here."
"Your cold and bizarre behavior remains the same as the last time I met you," Prila added, encouraging The Inventor to free his satisfying smirk.
Gdark chuckled confidently, "I don't need your assurance to prove it."
Suddenly, a buzzing telepathic noise vibrated within Prila's mind, convincing her to step back. She closed her eyes and bowed her head, painting the intrigued glare on The Inventor's face. It folded one of the Gdark's tumbling knuckles, bestrewing the wild wave of particles to the floor.
"Maybe, you can show me your current capability on the upcoming battlefield, Gdark," Prila persuaded The Inventor and continued with a blunt voice. "Because I received a telepathic message from Cangatha, Teldrium is invaded by a full fleet of Uprising Venom.
Prila winced in disbelief, I never expected they would attack in Teldrium, but well, it is what is"
"I bet you will join too?" Prila asked eagerly, stroking the right side of her hair and emanating the pinkish aura on both sides of her twin-tail hair.
Gdark burst out a laugther, "Absolutely. Perfect timing to test my next backpack."
"You go first," Gdark insisted. "I need to prepare a couple of things."
"Alright then, see you on the battlefield," Prila replied excitedly, winking her left eye and bidding a farewell, readying herself to intervene in the incoming invasion from Uprising Venom.

The massive invasion toward Teldrium commenced with several giant planes roaming in the clear blue sky. Hovering dark-green warships contained the golden lion heads being impaled by hundreds of needles attaching on the front part, a pair of glimmering lime projection of wings that reassembled thousands of snakes gathered around on its surface, and lastly, a lavender stabilizer that took the shape of snake fang.
"Venomous Carrier release the Cobra Wyverns, NOW!!' The voice of the man echoed through the whole inside of the plane. "We can let those citizens escape through their pesky portals!!"
The golden lion heads of the planes emanated the enlarged purplish wave that merged with the violet wormholes, spawning a group of lengthened figures fleeing out. The lengthened figures revealed themselves as emerald metal wyverns with the head of the pitch-black cobra and glistening purplish wings.
The wyverns screamed their contorting growl before rapidly sinking to the city's area, shelving themselves with the violet wave shielding their front sight. Some citizens who joined the lines of the evacuation portal inside the mall's main hall dropped their frightened jaws at the sight of the wyverns falling.
Two of the wyverns also descended into the mall pummeling the bluish holographic rooftop until it shattered, sending shuddering trepidation into the line of people. The meteoric wave of the wyverns vanished when they flapped their wings, shoving their head forward to resonate the ear-piercing soundwaves.
At first, the purplish aura concealed the evacuation portal before vanishing faster than the blink of an eye. It left the citizens to cry out in misery especially with the wyverns enclosed its mouth and moved its head to the back, gathering the flaring green energies.
Even though Emergency U-V Droids emerged through the sudden portals in the mall, gut-wrenching fears still lingered within the citizens as the wyverns propelled their heads. A rapid rain of green flares was declared through the wyverns, spaciously falling upon the citizens and the U-V Droids who morphed their heads into gatling guns.
"We….are…done for!!" The man with a suit cried out.
However, the flaring rain encountered simultaneous interruption due to the light-grey smoky V projectiles materializing on all the dropping flares. It even froze the rains from dropping, instantaneously igniting the combusting flashes the longer the V projectiles spawned on the scene.
Eventually, the V projectiles detonated themselves and dragged the flares to be reduced into a speck of dust. The citizens first expanded their dumbfounded frowns toward the sighting on the front. Then, a realization kicked in within their minds as they gasped, hurriedly staring to the above right.
"I think the VWX is here!!" The male teenager on the right shouted, pointing his hand toward the figure who leaped upward from the above right balcony.
"Thank god we are safe!!" The Old woman cried out, glancing toward the figure who darted his sight to the wyverns.
The two wyverns redirected their glares toward the figure who approached them, recharging their opened mouth with the green flares. As the wyverns were about to fire off the flares, the enlarged V projectiles emerged on their chests. The recharging flares flickered out from their mouth, feeling their bodies were pounded by a heavy object.
The wyverns squealed their harrowing cries with the V projectiles rapidly raising their saturating brightness. Therefore, the V projectiles exploded and tore apart the wyverns' chests, shutting their light within their eyes and screaming their distorting voices as they plummeted onto the ground.
After the two threats malfunctioned, the heroic figure smoothly landed on the ground by jolting the air below. Contented cheers from the citizens echoed through the figure's ears, encouraging him to turn around and heave his lined-up hand that recently evaporated the energized smoke.
"Thank you very much, VWX!! Thank YOU!!" A short-haired female teenager expressed her gratitude, dropping a line of tears.
The heroic figure, VWX calmly nodded his assured head toward the citizens, lifting his lined-up fingers on his forehead. A lissom sable helmet securely covered his entire head alongside other shiny objects hanging such as crystalized white V objects latched on his left ear and the pale grey X objects on his right ear.
Glossy and hefty grey glasses magnetically patched on VWX's eyes, surging the white aura through its V-shape lenses. His mouth was indeed sleeved by the bold-pitch black facial mask, exposing the three tiny letters VWX in a tidy manner. The rest of his body was secured by a sable-zentai suit, preserving the white V dots throughout its surfaces.
Congealed and silk, tri-colored armor strapped on VWX's upper limbs, especially with the glimmering black chains hanging and connecting his back. Furthermore, the armor was composed of the titular three tiles of color such as white color with the metallic V logo on the upper part, grey color with the glittering W logo on the middle part, and lastly the pale grey color with the polished X color on the lower part. Huge grey V projections solidly fastened on the back of his armor.
His shoulders were shielded with the slender jet-black shoulder pads that held the grey V projection acting as the central spotlights. His wrists were tidily wrapped by the elastic ivory gloves with the striking grey lines sparking through his palms, manifesting the enlarged V projections on the forehands.
Glimmering white thin lines shaping like a belt buckled on VWX's waist and currently tied the palm-size, V projection in the middle. Fiber ivory kneepads mended on both his knees, kindling the V projections on each of them. A pair of silken coal-black boots sheathed his feet, shimmering the grey lines on the back of his head.
"Now my fellow citizens of Teldrium, you may stay closer to me for a while," VWX suggested, politely bowing his body.
"I'm afraid the Uprising Venom has declared a massive invasion to us," VWX added, heedfully glancing his sharp eyes to the back and capturing a glimpse of three wyverns fleeing in his direction.
VWX groaned deeply, "I must admire their consistent determination."
"They never seem to surrender on terrorizing Teldrium or even the rest of Gloricon," VWX whispered, crossing both his hands and steering his sight to the right.
VWX cleared his throat, "I hoped there will no innocent bystander die in front of me."
"X Ardor Ray, liberate!!" VWX chanted, departing his crossing hand and stomping the ground.
Every V projection attached to his entire limbs vanished into thin air, instantly replacing them by transpiring the pale grey X-symbols. Even his black suit that used to reflect the V words completely changed into the X symbols, emanating a burst of pale grey energy through his glasses.
"Oh no, another hideous thing coming to us!!" The blonde woman screamed out, pointing her fingers toward the three wyverns heading in their direction.
The echoing cries of the citizens streamed into VWX's ears, cautiously stepping forward and inhaling a huge chunk of air into his threat. One of the frantic citizens, the old woman gave her dreaded frown toward The Heroic Figure, shuddering her legs that evoked the male teenager glanced his concerned look.
"Is he blind or something?" The old woman questioned VWX's action before she yelled. "The enemy is above, why did he decide to aim it to the right!?"
The Male Teenager tapped the old woman on her shoulder and explained, "Mam, that's one of his special moves."
"A special move that put a heart-attack surprise to his enemy!' The Male Teenager assured. "No need to be worried with VWX. He can handle this"
As the three wyverns flapped their wings to get closer to reaching their destination below, a ghastly energy fulminated on VWX. It drove The Heroic Figure to propel his head, roaring the unyielding scream. A probing pale grey beam generated on the left, fleeing to the wyverns.
The two wyverns unfortunately were swallowed by the beam, disintegrating every body part faster than the blink of an eye. Only one wyvern was able to escape the terror of the beam with it pausing the flapping wings and recharging the flare within its mouth. The beams dispersed after no remains of the two wyverns were no longer available.
"One more wyvern to be put into the coffin," VWX uttered confidently, flipping his left hand that glimmered the ray of lights through the X projection.
The Heroic Figure hastily thrust his left hand upward when the wyvern engulfed its jaw with the combusting flare. However, the attempt of the wyvern encountered unceremonious failure due to the pale gray beam prompted below it, swarming the metal creature and canceling the flare in its mouth.
The wyvern desperately cried in deep agony, perceiving its wings and long tail being burned into dust. The beam soared to touch the rooftop that marked its end, immediately shrinking itself into nothingness. It unfolded no more remains of the last wyvern available to be seen within the crowd of citizens alongside the hero himself.
"Cangatha, the wyverns in Relgo Mall have been decimated so far," VWX shared his report telepathically.
"Spectacular job, Layfree hon," The telepathic female voice replied thankfully.
VWX sighed and resumed the conversation with a concerned question, "So babe, are the evacuation portals from the couldn't being summoned?"
"Seemingly yes. I think those wyverns cast a specific magic to seal the portal spawns," Cangatha replied, lowering her pitch.
"Even worse, there are many tanks and giant planes in this invasion," Cangatha explained and suspected, "Perhaps they commenced their reckless invasion because this is part of a distraction.
Cangatha heedfully groaned, "A distraction to studying our capability, so they can set more dangerous invasion in the future."
"That's a precise assumption," VWX agreed with his girlfriend's speculation, switching his cautious stare toward the citizens and U-V robots nearby.
VWX chuckled, "I bet Gdark's grand debut as a Superhero pushed those Uprising Venom nerves."
"It's possible," Cangatha replied with a wary tone. "Especially your old friend defeated Wrathful Slug with ease. For Uprising Venom, it's a new threat."
"Then, he did a wonderful job on his debut. I'm pretty sure he will not miss this invasion," VWX proclaimed.
"I hope he truly fought on our side, Layfree" Cangatha replied.
VWX chuckled and reassured, "Come on babe. Gdark may be a cold-hearted asshole, but I believed he will fight the bad guy too.
"Let's see about that," Cangatha replied with a little bit of anxiousness, "Anyway, I sense the evacuation bussess have arrived at Relgo Mall."
"Sweet, thanks babe," VWX said cheerily, ending the telepathic call with him sighing in repose and confirming the evacuation for the citizens was able to be declared.
VWX waved his hands and uttered, "Alright fellow citizens of Teldrium, The Evacuation Bussess has arrived at the front door."
"Now let's go there and I'll make sure all of you can be safely evacuated from this invasion," VWX affirmed.
