[The Infirmary Room - Purity Organization School]

At the heart of the Purity Organization School building, where grandeur meets care, lies the infirmary—a masterpiece inspired by Victorian style, where elegant design blends with warmth and comfort. The room boasts a relatively long and spacious layout, offering patients a sense of ease, free from any feeling of confinement.

Architectural Design and Décor:

The ceiling rises high in the form of an elegant dome, crafted from the finest white bricks. Delicate golden engravings flow seamlessly across its surface, reflecting the light in a mesmerizing way. Hanging from the center of the dome is a modern crystal chandelier powered by electricity, adorned with warm-colored crystal pieces: white, pale yellow, and light orange. This adds a sense of warmth and reassurance to the atmosphere.

The walls are covered with luxurious dark green wallpaper, decorated with patterns resembling tree leaves, giving the space a natural touch that harmonizes beautifully with the Victorian theme. Scattered across these walls are stunning paintings displaying enchanting landscapes, along with illustrations of the world's most famous towers—such as the Burj Khalifa, the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and Tokyo Tower—adding a refined, global touch to the room.

The floor, made of the most luxurious white bricks, stretches smoothly across the room, adorned with carefully engraved dark red geometric patterns, adding an element of sophistication and enhancing the overall harmony of the design.

The room contains fourteen beds, arranged on both sides, made from high-quality, corrosion-resistant metal in a white-gray color. Each bed is fitted with soft mattresses, covered in light-colored bed sheets that differ for each bed.

The pillows match the color of the bed covers and are exceptionally soft.

There are warm, slightly heavy blankets made from the finest fabrics, offering warmth without causing discomfort. These blankets come in the same colors as the bed linens.

Each bed has elegant curtains matching the bed covers, adorned with shiny golden embellishments, providing privacy for the patient when needed.

Beside every bed is a refined small nightstand with two drawers, used to store medical tools or the patient's personal belongings. Additionally, uniquely designed electric lamps with warm colors and charming drawings sit nearby, adding a cheerful touch and helping to lift the patients' spirits.

To ensure that patients do not feel bored, the room is equipped with various entertainment elements, such as:

An elegant bookshelf located at the end of the room, holding an extensive collection of illustrated books, offering patients the opportunity to read and enjoy their time.

Two modern, medium-sized televisions are mounted on the walls opposite the beds, providing an enjoyable viewing experience without the need to leave the bed.

At the far end of the room stands a grand, massive window, occupying a unique position as the largest and most luxurious. It is adorned with colorful stained glass embroidery that blends red, green, blue, and violet. When sunlight filters through, the colors sparkle, creating a magnificent scene that grants the room a special sense of vitality.

Next to the window are two large vases, designed in the style of the Vase of Flowers by Carl Fabergé, the most renowned jeweler in Russia. These vases hold the rarest and most expensive flowers in the world—the Kadupul Flower and the Juliet Rose—both carefully selected to reflect the school's refined taste and to add an atmosphere of beauty and freshness.

The Beginning:

In one of the infirmary rooms, Maria was lying unconscious on one of the beds, while Koito was also passed out on the bed nearby. Sitting beside them was Yuki, perched on a chair next to Maria's bed, reading one of the illustrated magazines that discussed crime cases.

Maria's brown hair draped smoothly over the pillow, with strands of royal blue and light blue highlighting her natural beauty. Her peaceful face was wrapped in an enchanting stillness, as if she were in a soft slumber. Her breathing was light—barely noticeable—and her lips were slightly parted, revealing the faintest glimpse of her teeth. Her jacket had been completely removed, leaving her in just her shirt. The same was true for Koito.

An hour and a half had passed since they both lost consciousness, after taking a hard blow from Tsuyoko in the dessert hall at the back garden. It was nothing more than the result of their teasing about her height during a careless moment.

Silence filled the room, broken only by the sound of pages turning in the illustrated magazine Yuki was reading attentively, waiting for the story to unfold. There was no sign of Tsuyoko or Yuta, while Yuki quietly waited for Maria and Koito to wake up.

Suddenly, a faint groan escaped from Maria. Yuki noticed and lifted his head from the magazine, watching closely for any further movement. After a few moments, Maria slowly raised one of her hands to her forehead, as if trying to process what had happened.

Maria squeezed her eyes shut for a moment before letting out a soft moan. Then, in a tired voice, she murmured:

"Where am I...?"

Yuki looked at her calmly, slowly closing the magazine and placing it on the small table beside him, before saying in an indifferent tone,

"In the infirmary… where you're supposed to be after deciding to mock someone who can land a knockout punch."

Maria frowned, rubbing her forehead as she tried to recall what had happened. Then she slowly opened her eyes, staring up at the ceiling before turning her head toward Yuki.

"Wait… did Tsuyoko really do it?" she asked in surprise, as if she still couldn't believe it.

Yuki nodded without much interest, leaning back in his chair as he crossed his arms.

"Not just you. Koito, too… I guess she couldn't find any other way to shut you both up."

Maria shifted her gaze to Koito, who was still unconscious on the bed nearby. She let out an annoyed sigh, then lifted her head slightly before letting it fall back onto the pillow.

"Damn… I can't believe she actually did it," she muttered, placing her arm over her eyes.

Yuki was silent for a moment before replying with quiet sarcasm,

"Maybe it's time you reconsider who you choose to tease… not everyone can handle your kind of jokes."

Maria sighed, then gave a sly smile as she said,

"It's fine. I'll count that as her self-defense hit… but next time, I'll pay her back double."

Before Yuki could reply, another faint groan came from the bed next to them. Koito began to stir slowly, clutching his head as if he had a terrible headache. He opened his eyes heavily and grumbled,

"Why does it feel like I got run over by a truck…?"

Maria chuckled softly, while Yuki simply looked at him without sympathy, then commented coolly,

"Because you picked the wrong person to make fun of."

Koito stopped moving his head for a moment and raised his hand to his forehead, as if trying to soothe the pain pounding inside it. His disheveled hair stuck to his skin from the sweat, and his eyes were hazy, struggling to focus.

"Impossible…" he muttered, then noticed Maria's presence.

He tried to sit up slowly but froze when he realized his body wasn't cooperating with him.

"Can you two stop this nonsense?" he said, trying to regain his focus, but his exhausted smile faltered quickly.

"Well… maybe it was worth it… but I didn't expect Tsuyoko to be that ruthless."

Maria gave a faint smile but didn't move her hand from her face.

"I'll only remember this day when I'm mocking someone," she said quietly, as if replaying the whole situation in her mind.

Koito tried to chuckle, but the pain in his head stopped him almost immediately.

"Oh God… if this is how we get punished for joking around, we're in serious trouble."

Maria took a deep breath, then lifted her head, ignoring the throbbing in her mind, and looked over at Yuki, who was silently watching everything unfold with his usual calm gaze.

"I think I've learned my lesson… but I'm not promising I'll be nice next time," she said lightly. Yet, despite her playful tone, there was a hint of hidden anger in her words. After a moment, she dropped her head back onto the pillow.

Yuki raised an eyebrow, replying sarcastically,

"I don't think you've learned anything… have you?"

Maria answered him with a serious tone, though the smile never left her face,

"No… I don't think I have."

Yuki stared at her in disbelief before saying plainly,

"What's wrong with you?"

Maria chuckled quietly, then shifted her gaze back to Koito, who was finally figuring out how to get himself out of bed.

"I don't have a problem… but is there really no one who can keep up with me yet?"

Thoughts piled up in Maria's mind as if a dense cloud of questions and memories were filling her head, all overlapping one another. There was something suspicious about the absence of Tsuyoko and Yuta—something she couldn't quite explain at that moment. Her eyes moved between Koito and Yuki, as if she was trying to uncover a hidden secret buried in those quiet moments.

Then, suddenly, she realized there was no trace of either of them. She wondered silently: Where are they? Then, in a low voice—almost like she was speaking more to herself than to him—she asked Yuki:

"Where are Tsuyoko and Yuta?"

Yuki lifted his eyes to her slightly, as if the answer had slipped from his mind for a second. Then he looked at her with a calm expression and replied indifferently:

"They had a math class an hour ago… so they left."

Maria understood exactly what Yuki meant right away. She smiled faintly, though her smile carried a tone of deep thought, as if she was contemplating how everything around her had become part of a flawless sequence—leaving no room for mistakes.

She tried to move her body to sit up, every muscle in her protesting against her efforts, but she finally managed to sit on the bed. Pressing her hands lightly against the mattress to balance herself, she raised her head toward Koito, who was still watching her quietly. Their eyes met for a brief moment, and something unspoken passed between them. That silent connection was more than just a glance—it was a moment of unspoken understanding.

But she quickly remembered what had been on her mind moments earlier. Without hesitation, she turned her head swiftly toward Yuki and asked:

"What about our class? What time is it?"

Yuki answered in a quiet tone, his voice calm:

"It's at two o'clock."

Then he added, in the same steady tone:

"Physics class."

Maria's brow furrowed slightly at the mention of the subject, and a faint sense of irritation crept into her. Physics… it was a class she couldn't stand—not because she was weak at it, but because dealing with things she couldn't touch or see annoyed her. She preferred actions over theories, movement over excessive thinking.

Maria sighed, as if reluctantly accepting her reality. Then she said with sarcasm,

"Of course. Physics. How could I forget?"

Without giving the matter any more thought, she moved her hands to grip the pillow behind her, straightening herself up a bit more. Her eyes were staring forward, but her thoughts were going in every direction.

"Well, if that's what I have to do, then I have no choice but to endure it…"

But she couldn't suppress the urge to complain a little more, even though a voice inside her told her she was only trying to ease her own mood.

Maria's gaze wandered around the room, as if searching for any sign of a doctor or nurses, but the room seemed completely empty. There wasn't a single person around—not even the faint sound of footsteps. She turned toward Yuki and asked him out of curiosity, as if the question slipped from her without thinking:

"Where's the doctor? And the nurses? Where did everyone go?"

Yuki answered her in a calm voice, his eyes watching her as he leaned slightly in his chair:

"They left after realizing your conditions weren't too serious. They left you both here with me."

When Maria heard his reply, she nodded softly, as if she understood, then her focus returned to the wall in front of her, like she was trying to recall something in her mind. The room was very quiet, and her thoughts traveled quickly from one to the next, until suddenly, they stopped at a specific moment.

As she was recalling something from the past, she suddenly turned again toward Yuki, her face holding that sharp and intriguing look all at once. She moved quickly and without warning, which drew Yuki's full attention. Inside, her sudden movement stirred something unsettled within him.

Her face, with its calm yet captivating gaze, left him no room to focus. He tried to avert his eyes, hoping to avoid thinking about things he probably shouldn't be thinking about.

But Maria, unaware of his change or the effect she had on him, asked once more, this time with genuine curiosity, her voice free of any pretense:

"How long were we unconscious?"

Yuki took a moment to think before answering honestly, as he always did.

"You were both unconscious for a full hour and a half."

He looked at her after saying that, and she was focused on his words, trying to process the idea. The length of time was longer than she had expected, but she quickly took it in without showing any surprise on her face.

Maria's thoughts kept turning over what Yuki had just said, but before long, she glanced at him with confusion, then shifted her eyes to Koita, who was leaning back against the bed, looking completely relaxed.

He seemed to be dreaming about what was probably the most delicious kinds of food, utterly unconcerned with what was happening around him—or even with the heated conversation between her and Yuki.

She looked back at Yuki again, blinking several times as if trying to fully process his words.

"A whole hour and a half?!" she said loudly, her face full of shock, as if she couldn't believe what she was hearing. She went on,

"I could've used that hour to annoy someone! Or find another guy to flirt with! Why did I have to spend it here unconscious?!"

Yuki, who had been watching her closely, was completely stunned by what she said. He raised his eyebrows in surprise, as if Maria had just spoken something from another world.

"Are you serious? That's what's on your mind?"

He looked at her like she had completely lost touch with reality for a moment.

As Maria drowned in her own wild thoughts, her gaze shifted back to Koita again. But this time, her eyes were glowing with fury, as if she was about to explode. She raised her hands into the air and shouted angrily,

"You're the reason for all this!"

Then she continued bitterly,

"If you hadn't asked that stupid question about height, we wouldn't even be here!"

Koita, who had been in a semi-dream state, started to snap back to reality the moment he heard her blaming him. He quickly turned his eyes toward her, surprised. But almost instantly, his expression shifted from confused to defensive and irritated. He snapped back at her loudly,

"What?! You're saying it's my fault now, huh?!"

But then, as he remembered Maria's sarcastic comment toward Tsuyoko earlier, he lifted his fingers and pointed them at her, adding in a mocking tone that imitated Maria's voice just a little,

"Looks like things get a little awkward when you're short, huh?"

(Then he switched back to his frustrated tone and continued,)

"Didn't you say that before? Or did you already forget?"

Koita's words were like a spark setting fire to Maria's temper. Her eyes widened with outrage, and her voice rose even louder than before.

"I wasn't the one who brought up the question first! So don't blame me for this! And you—you're the one who made things worse!"

Then she added angrily,

"Didn't Yuta tell you that Tsuyo-chan hates those kinds of questions? Didn't he warn you? And you didn't take him seriously at all!"

For his part, Yuki was watching the situation with surprise, trying his best not to get involved in the escalating conflict. But he couldn't help the faint smile that tugged at his lips when he heard both of them blaming each other for what had happened. He expected that at any moment, one of them would explode in the other's face—but at first, he didn't care much.

However, when he noticed that Maria was about to completely lose it, he quickly stepped in and said,

"Koita, you're not really in a position to blame anyone else."

But Koita, who was already irritated by Maria's words, didn't back down. He replied mockingly,

"Don't make things worse. This is all your fault, not mine!"

Then he added, pointing to himself with a careless gesture,

"At least I was enjoying my dream."

He suddenly turned around to face the wall in front of him, crossing his arms tightly over his chest in frustration. Dark clouds seemed to hover over his head, adding even more tension to the already heavy atmosphere.

At that moment, Yuki found himself in the middle of a new wave of tension, trying to untangle the knot of anger between them.

"Maria, don't pay attention to anything Koita says. Just think of him as a crazy person—nothing more, nothing less, okay?"

Suddenly, a soft laugh escaped from Maria, as if Yuki's words about Koita had brought her a sense of relief. She leaned back a little, pressing herself against the bed and relaxing. She felt as though she had just won a battle against an annoying enemy. In a sarcastic tone, she said,

"You're right, dear Yuki. I won't torture myself over someone like Koita!"

Then she smiled a victorious smile, as if she had achieved a small success in their verbal sparring.

Yuki sighed in exasperation at Maria's childishness. The atmosphere grew quieter after that, but everyone in the room could still feel the tension lingering in the air—like they were waiting for what might happen next.

◆ Inside Classroom 24F ◆

Scene from the Students of the Purity Organization School

Inside the classroom of the Purity Organization School, you find yourself in a world unlike any traditional classroom. The first thing that captures attention is the stunning walls that rise high, adorned with golden wallpaper clinging to a light blue background.

The golden patterns decorating the walls reflect a luxurious shine that adds an air of elegance to the place, as if you were stepping into a palace from a golden age.

The classroom ceiling is high and spacious, painted in gleaming white, with intricate golden engravings that extend like rays across its entire surface.

In the center hangs an electric chandelier made from "Phenakite" crystal, boasting two magnificent colors: light red and deep green. The addition of imperial jade stones gives it an extra touch of opulence, while modern electric lamps are scattered across the ceiling, illuminating the space in an exceptional way.

The floor is covered with lavish tiles that gleam under the lights, with a luxurious light blue carpet interwoven with hand-drawn floral designs, adding a natural beauty to the environment.

The desks and chairs are made of Macassar ebony wood, contributing an extra sense of luxury and distinction. Each student sits on an adjustable electric chair equipped with heating, cooling, and massage functions, ensuring maximum comfort during study hours.

The students, using golden tablets or laptops, engage with interactive content, while their personal AI systems assist them in organizing their time and completing tasks efficiently.

On one side of the classroom, enormous interactive screens display the latest information and study materials in an astonishing way. Scattered around are advanced scientific models, some simulating space environments or nuclear laboratories, adding a distinctive scientific character to the space.

The teacher's desk is crafted from the finest woods and equipped with the latest technologies, enabling them to present lessons smoothly and effectively. Each student's personal locker guarantees the safety of their valuable possessions, such as electronic devices and luxury smartwatches, secured by a biometric system based on fingerprint recognition.

In one corner of the classroom, there's a private library containing rare books and valuable literary works, enriched with touches of history and science. The huge panoramic windows overlook breathtaking views of the school's gardens, making the surrounding atmosphere of the classroom reflect unmatched luxury.

And finally, one cannot overlook the other comforts and luxuries present in the classroom: there's a shelf on one side where luxury drinks such as Blue Mountain coffee and Darjeeling tea are served to the students during class, along with high-end snacks. The adjustable smart lighting allows the ambiance inside the classroom to be customized, ensuring a perfect educational environment for all students.

In this luxurious atmosphere, academic life wasn't limited to gaining knowledge alone. It blended seamlessly with the comforts of advanced modern living, where science and technology met in perfect harmony.

•••

As Maria, Koita, and Yuki entered, their attention was immediately drawn to the large number of students—there were 47 boys and girls in total. Soft murmurs filled the air, like whispers drifting between the grand walls of the classroom. The lights shimmered with stunning reflections on the glossy surfaces, making the place seem alive and vibrant.

But Maria's gaze carefully swept over the details, her eyes glimmering with faint astonishment—though not completely surprised. She was used to luxury, but there was something about this classroom that made her feel there was something... unusual.

As for Koita and Yuki, they were in a state of complete awe. Their eyes widened with every step they took, and each time they passed by advanced technology or luxurious decorations, their minds seemed on the verge of collapse under the weight of their amazement.

Koita, who was more accustomed to simple places, looked as if the air around him had completely changed.

"Is this... the classroom?! Oh my God!" he whispered, staring at the golden walls, his eyes practically sparkling with shock.

Yuki, who was no less astonished than Koita, walked beside Maria, lightly running his hand over the ebony seat, as if his body couldn't comprehend the luxury surrounding him.

"I can't believe it! How can a school be like this?" he said in a bewildered tone as he glanced around, as though everything in this school reflected a level of luxury he had never seen before.

Maria, however, kept her gaze steady, as if observing everything from another perspective. Her expression didn't show much amazement; instead, she wore a faint smile, as if she took it all in far more casually.

"What? Aren't you two used to places like this?" she asked them with light sarcasm as she walked ahead of them, calm as ever, as if she saw nothing more than ordinary luxury in this classroom.

"This is all pretty normal for me," she added, glancing at them, as though this level of extravagance was just another part of her daily life.

As they made their way to the seats assigned to them, they noticed a carefully placed sign on the wall beside the door, displaying the number 24F. The number indicated that this classroom was reserved exclusively for members of the Fire Element group.

The desks were designed in a way that allowed every student to sit comfortably, with the ability to control the temperature of their seats as needed. The chairs themselves were pleasantly warm, sending a sense of comfort and energy through the students at once.

In one corner, a smart screen displayed interactive images of flowing lava in vivid colors, alongside scenes of fire dancing through the air like tongues of flame devouring everything in their path.

Everything in this classroom spoke of the Fire Element—from the bright colors reflecting the heat of the sun, to the geometric shapes that resembled volcanic bursts.

As for Maria, while this place felt familiar to her, Koita and Yuki struggled to adapt to this new environment. Yuki felt as if they had stepped into an entirely different world, far from reality.

"This luxury makes me feel like I've been living at the bottom of the earth... this entire classroom reflects our power!" he said, glancing around, his eyes glowing with deep thought about what the future might hold.

Maria looked at him calmly before stepping toward the glass window, taking a deep breath. Her gaze wandered beyond the glass, where the garden sparkled before her eyes.

"You'll both get used to it soon," she said quietly. She didn't seem as affected by the place as Koita and Yuki were. Her focus was more on what this school could offer in terms of training and developing their abilities.

As they prepared for their first lesson, the surrounding atmosphere began to change gradually. This was just the beginning, and the luxurious classroom was nothing more than a reflection of the power of the elements and the extraordinary abilities that would soon be revealed in the coming days.

Ahead of them lay a new world, full of immense potential waiting to be discovered. Every student here carried within them a unique power, one that would awaken when the time was right.

As they made their way to their designated seats, their eyes roamed across the tables scattered throughout the classroom. Each table had three chairs, and the classroom itself was divided into five sections: A, B, C, D, and E.

The C section, located at the heart of the room, was the most appealing. The spacious, comfortable tables arranged in a welcoming circle seemed to invite them to sit there.

"Oh my God! This place is amazing! I can't believe we're here!" Koita said excitedly, pointing toward the table in the center. His eyes gleamed as they darted between the various tables, his heart racing with excitement.

"I think we picked the best spot, seriously!" Yuki replied with enthusiasm, looking at Koita, who was gripping his hands like an overjoyed teenage girl who had just met her crush. His eyes sparkled as if he had just discovered a hidden treasure.

"No doubt about it, luck is on our side today!"

Then both of them let go of each other's hands and ran toward the table with childlike excitement.

Maria walked behind them quietly, her hands folded behind her head in a lazy gesture. Her bright eyes gleamed with a hint of curiosity. But as usual, she didn't share the same wide-eyed wonder that filled her friends' faces.

There was no sign of sudden amazement on her face. Instead, she looked around with interest, as though she was observing everything with caution and awareness.

When she reached the table, she took a seat on one of the side chairs, while Koita sat on the other side. Yuki sat between them, taking the spot that naturally drew the most attention.

"Wow, I still can't believe this!" Koita said, catching his breath after a moment of intense observation. He placed his bag on the floor next to his chair and leaned back, relaxing into the seat with satisfaction.

"We've waited so long for this moment—finally, a good place!"

Maria sat quietly, scanning the space around her. The classroom was carefully designed to reflect complete luxury and comfort, as if every corner had been created specifically to make each student feel at ease.

The seat was comfortable, and the classroom atmosphere was pleasantly warm, almost as if it was perfectly attuned to the body's natural needs.

"Are you really that happy, Koita?" Maria said with a sarcastic smile as she watched Koita continue to show his exaggerated excitement.

"I can't help it!" Koita replied, shaking his head enthusiastically, his hand waving in the air as if trying to grab everyone's attention. "Look at this place! Everything here radiates luxury! It's like we've stepped into another world!"

Yuki, on the other hand, smiled softly, his fingers slowly gliding over the surface of the ebony table, observing their expressions. "I think we've entered a world of fantasy. This is more than I ever imagined… this place makes me feel like I've been poor from birth until now." He glanced at Maria, a hint of curiosity in his eyes, as if silently asking for her thoughts.

"I think this place is just the beginning," Maria said in a calm voice, her gaze steady as she watched the glass window. Beyond it, she could see the distant garden that made this classroom unique. "It won't be as easy as you both think. Here, we won't just be facing luxury, but a true test of our skills. There will be decisive trials that will determine everything."

"So… does that mean we're going to face hardships here?" Koita asked cautiously, leaning forward as if trying to grasp the challenges that might lie ahead. "Is this the start of a difficult phase for us?"

Maria looked at them with her bright, gleaming eyes and took a deep breath. "It's best if we're prepared for anything," she said quietly, then added with her luminous gaze, "This won't just be a place to develop our abilities. It's the start of something bigger. A world full of trials and challenges that will change everything. I'm here not just to enjoy myself, but to fight."

As Koita and Yuki exchanged surprised looks, they felt something unfamiliar lingering around them. Perhaps that moment marked the beginning. The beginning where everything would unfold—not just within this luxurious space, but in the unknown future awaiting them. Maria seemed certain of something they all had yet to understand.

"Do you think something big is going to happen in the future?" Yuki asked softly, his eyes moving between Maria and the rest of the classroom, which gleamed with grandeur.

"Absolutely, and a bright future awaits you," Maria replied, her tone laced with sarcasm. "You're here to learn how to use your abilities and fighting techniques, so stop overthinking things." Her voice became a little sharper, but still calm. "This is just the beginning. Everything here is merely a prelude to what's coming next. You're here to train to become stronger, so stop focusing on the luxury around you. This is nothing more than a training ground. And remember, the future will define us."

While the classroom buzzed with the voices of students, the atmosphere held something far greater than just opulence. Every student here carried different motivations in their hearts, and each of them had stepped into this place that would change them forever.

The number of students in the class was finally complete. What had started as 47 students had now increased to 50 with the addition of the new trio: Maria, Koita, and Yuki. That number was exactly what was required for each class in this academy.

Everyone was waiting for the physics teacher, who would be the first instructor they'd meet in this place. However, the atmosphere wasn't exactly calm—each one of them was preoccupied with something completely different from the other.

On the right-hand chair of the table, Koita was staring at the food shelf at the far end of the classroom, his eyes gleaming as if he'd just discovered a hidden treasure. He seemed to be trying to hold himself back, but failed, and began muttering in a low voice, "Is that chocolate cake? Oh my god… can I…? No, I have to be patient… but what if it runs out before I get one?!"

Meanwhile, Yuki was looking right, then left, his eyes shifting between the girls in the class with amazement. His face was flushed, as if he had stepped into another world. He whispered to himself, "This is a completely different level… Each one of them looks like they've stepped out of a painting… Are we really in a school?"

As for Maria, she was in an entirely different world. She was holding her phone and playing with it in boredom. She puffed her cheek childishly, then set the phone aside and glanced around, trying to analyze the students' personalities based on their expressions and behavior. But soon, she raised an eyebrow in surprise when she noticed something strange.

There weren't any school bags!

Instead, the students had their physics textbooks placed in front of them, and some of them were speaking to wristwatches that had identical designs but came in different colors.

Maria tilted her head slightly, her eyes narrowing with suspicion, before she muttered sarcastically, "Have they gotten so bored that they're talking to their wristwatches? Heh, from the looks of it, I seem to be the only sane one here. I'm not like that guy obsessed with food, or the other one drowning in dreams that have nothing to do with reality while the girls couldn't care less about him."

Her comment didn't go unnoticed. Yuki suddenly turned toward her, as if his instincts had picked up on something, and said in surprise, "Hmm? Did you say something, Maria-chan?"

Maria shot him a mocking look, as if she was wondering whether she should repeat what she said or simply keep staring at him until he figured it out on his own.

She lazily turned her head, looking at the young man sitting in front of her. He was laughing with his two friends in a way that showed he was thoroughly enjoying the conversation. Maria didn't show the slightest interest—just an indifferent glance before she raised her hand and decided to get his attention in a direct way.

Without thinking much about it, she poked him in the back with her finger.

"Oh!" The young man flinched suddenly and quickly turned toward her, his expression clearly annoyed by the unexpected action… but his expression changed almost instantly when his eyes met hers. For a moment, he froze in place, as if his soul had left his body. He stared at her in astonishment, as if his mind had completely stopped working for a few seconds.

Maria blinked in confusion, then waved her hand in front of his face, tilting her head slightly.

"Hey, you! Can you hear me? I'm talking to you!"

But the young man kept staring at her as if he had just seen an angel descend from the heavens. He wasn't hearing her at all.

Maria sighed in exasperation before lifting her foot slightly and giving him a light kick under the table.

"Huh?! Y-Yes! I can hear you!" The young man snapped out of it all of a sudden, a faint blush appearing on his cheeks as he tried to regain his composure.

Maria crossed her arms and gave him a half-lidded stare before speaking seriously, raising an eyebrow.

"Good. I'll get straight to the point… What's the deal with those watches you're all wearing? Are they some new brand I've never heard of? And also, where did you all put your school bags?"

The young man glanced at his watch for a moment, as if processing the question, then looked back at Maria and said,

"Ah… Honestly, the bags are in the student lockers. Same with the watches."

"Lockers?" Maria repeated in surprise, a puzzled look spreading across her face.

The young man gestured behind her with a slight nod of his head, prompting Maria—and Yuki, who was curious by nature—to both turn in the direction he'd indicated.

Their eyes landed on a large set of lockers positioned in the middle of the hall, separating the students' tables from the small library in the corner.

They exchanged dumbfounded looks for a moment before unconsciously speaking in unison,

"Oooh…"

But Maria wasn't satisfied with that. She narrowed her eyes in focus, scrutinizing the lockers as if something about them didn't sit right with her or sparked her suspicions.

When she turned her gaze back to the young man, she noticed he was still staring at her with that same awestruck look, as if a movie star had suddenly appeared in his life.

Maria tilted her head slightly and said coolly,

"Why are you staring at me like that? Is there something stuck on my face?"

The young man flinched again, trying to regain his composure, but he couldn't hide the admiration shining in his eyes.

Maria turned towards Yuki and Koita, raising an eyebrow as she glanced at them inquisitively. Then, in a commanding yet indifferent tone, she said, "Alright, let's go put our bags in the lockers assigned to us."

Koita looked at her for a moment, then let out a light sigh and shrugged nonchalantly. "Whatever… I don't see the point right now. I'll just leave mine here and be done with it."

As for Yuki, his eyes widened with childlike excitement, a strange gleam reflecting in his pupils as if he had just discovered a whole new world. "Ooooh! I want to see what's inside my locker! Is it spacious? Does it have secret shelves? What if there's hidden treasure inside?!"

Maria let out a small sigh, ignoring his childish enthusiasm, then picked up her bag and began walking toward the back of the classroom, where the lockers were lined up in neat rows.

Yuki, of course, didn't waste a single second. He grabbed his bag eagerly and ran after her, but suddenly, after a few steps, his movements slowed down. He felt something strange… Slowly, he turned back to find Koita still sitting in his seat, slumped over the desk as if he had completely surrendered to the idea of exerting any physical effort.

Yuki narrowed his eyes cautiously, then moved back toward him with suspicious steps. Suddenly, he reached out and grabbed Koita's wrist firmly. "Come with us, you lazy bum!"

Koita jerked upright in his seat as if an electric shock had just run through him. "Huh?! Why should I go?! My bag's fine right here!"

But Yuki didn't give him a chance to argue. He immediately started dragging him by force, walking backward as he pulled Koita behind him with determination and persistence. Meanwhile, Koita resisted with his legs as if he were being dragged toward an execution.

Koita let out a heavy sigh, as if carrying the weight of the entire world on his shoulders. Finally, he gave in and lazily grabbed his bag. "Fine, fine… I get it. No need for violence, you savage."

Maria, who was already near the lockers, paused for a moment and turned towards her two companions, watching the scene unfold with amused eyes.

She placed one hand on her hip while holding the straps of her bag with the other. Then she muttered sarcastically, "Hah, a kid dragging another kid… What a strange school."

She smiled quietly, clearly enjoying the chaos caused by the two of them. Meanwhile, Yuki continued to pull Koita, who was trudging behind him lazily like a prisoner being led to his inevitable fate.

Finally, they reached Maria, who had been waiting for them by the lockers. Only then did Yuki release Koita's wrist. Koita immediately tried to sneak back to his desk, but Yuki was faster. He grabbed him again and spun him around to face them.

Maria chuckled quietly, as if she were enjoying a live comedy show. "You two make a pretty entertaining pair. I didn't think I'd be having this much fun just putting a bag in a locker."

Both Koita and Yuki shot her matching scowls, making Maria feel a flicker of unease, as if their stares could pierce right through her. After a moment of silence, she let out a deep sigh, then turned back to the lockers, speaking in an overly dramatic tone as if narrating a grand adventure full of mystery. "So, as I see it, this is a quest to find the right locker to store our bags… I believe this mission won't be easy for people like us! We'll have to endure hardships, climb mountains, cross hills, swim across rivers… We are explorers!"

The moment she finished her words, a huge caption appeared out of nowhere that read The Explorers, accompanied by the deep voice of an adventurous man, as if the whole scene were part of an action movie.

Yuki raised an eyebrow with an expression of disbelief, as if his brain simply couldn't process the situation. As for Koita, he stared at the scene with obvious boredom, then looked to his right as if plotting his escape at any moment.

Suddenly, Yuki raised his hand, grabbed Koita's chin, and forced him to look back at Maria. Yuki was fully aware of what Koita was thinking… and planning. An escape!

Maria turned towards both Koita and Yuki, then raised her arms high with indescribable energy, her eyes shining with excitement as if she had just exploded with an unstoppable force. Her voice was filled with life as she shouted enthusiastically, "Are we explorers, or are we just worthless students?!"

Silence fell between them for a few seconds. Maria stared at them with innocent, wide eyes that were anything but ideal. Koita's expression was full of indifference, while Yuki's face was a mess of confusion, his eyes wide with shock.

Then he suddenly shouted, "I'd rather be a worthless student than an explorer risking his life for something he doesn't even know!"

"I'm with him!" Koita added, shooting Yuki a supportive look to emphasize his point.

Maria blinked a few times, then smirked sarcastically and said in a cold, slightly sulky voice, "Oh, so you're admitting that you're just worthless."

"Wait, what?!" Koita and Yuki both shouted at the same time, their shock obvious.

Maria shrugged nonchalantly, then raised her fingers upward as if she had just discovered something amazing. With a strong voice full of adventurous spirit, she declared,

"Hey! Let's go explore the lockers—"

But she didn't get to finish her sentence.

A young man's voice suddenly interrupted her. He appeared out of nowhere, wearing a pair of prescription glasses, his crystal-green eyes calm and clear. His dark purple hair had streaks of deep blue, and he wore a school uniform that made him appear to be Maria's classmate, standing at the same height as her.

The young man spoke bluntly, without a hint of hesitation,

"You don't need to search for long to find a locker for your things. Just look for your name among these lockers. You'll find it easily. There's no need to explore."

His tone made it seem like he was genuinely trying to help her, giving advice out of kindness—though his serious expression was a stark contrast to the playful atmosphere Maria had set.

Maria froze in place, staring at the young man as if trying to process his words. Then she tilted her head slightly and placed her hand on her chin, as though thinking deeply. Suddenly, she gasped, as if she had just uncovered the greatest secret in history, and said in an overly dramatic voice,

"Whaaat! So you're telling me… I can find my locker… by looking for my name?!"

She stared at him with wide eyes full of exaggerated astonishment.

Yuki placed his hand over his face, letting out a deep sigh, as if he had lost all hope in her reasoning. Koita, on the other hand, stared blankly at the new guy before glancing back at Maria and saying sarcastically,

"Amazing… You do realize you're a terrifying kind of genius, right?"

The young man raised an eyebrow slightly, observing Maria's odd reaction. He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose with his fingers and said in a calm but doubtful tone,

"…Did you not think of that before?"

Maria suddenly pointed at him with excitement, her expression brimming with unwarranted confidence.

"No! Because I'm an explorer! We don't look for things the easy way—we face challenges, we fight dangers, we risk our lives for the unknown!"

Suddenly, dramatic effects appeared behind her—raging flames and a sandstorm—as if she stood in the middle of a harsh desert. Heroic adventure music blared in the background of the scene only she could hear.

"…Yeah. Of course," the young man replied, looking at her as if he was starting to reconsider his life choices.

Meanwhile, Yuki turned to Koita and whispered tiredly,

"If we stay with her, we might find ourselves in the middle of the Amazon jungle… searching for her lost pen."

Koita nodded seriously before adding, as he stared at the horizon in deep thought,

"Or worse… at the bottom of the sea, looking for her sock she thought was some ancient treasure."

A moment of silence passed between them, then both turned to look at Maria, who stood there proudly, before exchanging quick glances—clearly planning their escape from this madness.

But before Yuki and Koita could carry out their plan, Maria suddenly turned toward them, as if sensing their suspicious intentions. Narrowing her eyes with suspicion, she placed her hands on her hips, her tone becoming even more dramatic,

"You two… You're trying to escape, aren't you?"

The two of them froze on the spot, as if they'd been caught red-handed. Koita tried to feign ignorance, looking away coolly,

"Escape? From what? We're just… performing a strategic retreat."

Yuki raised his hand in agreement, adding confidently,

"Exactly! It's not betrayal or cowardice—it's… a reevaluation of the situation from another angle!"

Maria clearly wasn't convinced. She narrowed her eyes further, crossing her arms as she replied sarcastically,

"So… You're reevaluating the situation… while heading for the exit?"

They both glanced down at their feet, realizing they were indeed inching slowly toward the door. They exchanged looks, then suddenly jumped forward, returning to their original spots in front of Maria, as if nothing had happened.

"Of course not! Who are we to leave you alone on this dangerous mission?!" Yuki said with a nervous smile.

Koita nodded rapidly,

"Yes, yes! We're a team! The Three Explorers! Haha!"

At that moment, the young man with glasses cut in again, after watching the scene silently in disbelief. He pushed his glasses up once more and asked in a neutral tone,

"I'm just asking… Are you always this chaotic?"

Maria blinked at him, then smiled proudly and tapped her chest with her thumb,

"Of course! We live our lives by the rules of pure chaos!"

Yuki and Koita looked at her in disbelief, but they were both intimidated by the sharp side-eye Maria shot them, silently demanding they back her up. They both nodded slowly, as if they had finally surrendered to the fact that no logic could ever explain Maria's actions.

"That explains a lot…" the young man muttered, glancing up at the sky as if questioning how he ended up surrounded by this group.

After Maria finished declaring her bizarre philosophy about pure chaos, the young man with glasses stared at her blankly for a few moments. Then, with a quiet sigh, he said in an indifferent tone,

"…Well, I've seen enough."

Then he simply turned around and started walking away from them, as if he had never been there in the first place.

They watched him silently as he disappeared into the crowd of students, until he was completely out of sight. Only then did Yuki raise an eyebrow and say coolly,

"He escaped… smartly."

"He was quick to understand his situation," Koita murmured in admiration, while Maria nodded seriously and said,

"He knows staying here might get him involved in unexpected adventures, so he withdrew at the right moment… wise men like him deserve respect."

But she quickly forgot about the matter entirely when she remembered her original mission. She immediately started darting her eyes between the lockers, searching eagerly for her name. It only took a few seconds before her eyes lit up with a victorious gleam. She pointed at one of the lockers with her finger and shouted happily,

"Haah! Found it!"

She ran towards it at full speed, while Yuki and Koita both sighed and followed after her with reluctant, heavy steps.

When they arrived, they noticed that their names were also close to Maria's locker. In fact, the three lockers were side by side, with Maria's locker right in the middle.

"This is annoying…" Koita said in a monotone voice, while Yuki stared at their names with a resigned expression.

"Looks like we won't be able to get rid of her, even here."

Maria, who didn't care about their complaints, focused her attention on the locker in front of her. But she quickly noticed something odd. There was no lock or handle—only a small panel next to the door with a thumbprint scanner!

"Oh! They're automated lockers!" she exclaimed in surprise. Koita leaned in, tilting his head thoughtfully.

"So, no keys? We just put our thumbprint and it opens?"

"That's awesome!" Yuki said in amazement, then added sarcastically,

"At least you won't have to worry about losing your key in one of your random exploration adventures."

"Hey, don't underestimate the art of chaotic storage! It's a great skill only the chosen few can master!" Maria replied proudly, placing her hand on her waist.

But instead of arguing with her, Koita and Yuki exchanged glances, then silently placed their thumbprints on their lockers without another word. Meanwhile, Maria kept staring at the scanner in front of her, her eyes glowing like she was standing before a legendary piece of technology.

Maria placed her finger on the scanner. The moment her skin touched the cold surface, the screen lit up with a green light, indicating the process was successful. She smiled triumphantly and withdrew her hand, waiting for the door to open automatically… but nothing happened.

"Huh?" Maria blinked in disbelief, staring at the locker as if it had betrayed her.

Meanwhile, both Koita and Yuki had already opened their lockers without any problems and found sleek electronic watches inside, each customized for them. They put them on instinctively before noticing Maria, who was still standing in front of her locker, which remained tightly shut.

"Maria, why haven't you opened it yet?" Yuki asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know! The light turned green, but it won't open!" Maria said in confusion, placing her hands on her hips and eyeing the locker suspiciously.

She took a step forward to examine the door more closely. As her face moved in, peering at it with doubt…

BOOOF!!

The door suddenly swung open with unexpected force and smacked Maria right on the nose!

"AAH!" she cried, stumbling backward from the impact, completely losing her balance and crashing to the ground in an overly dramatic fashion.

"Maria!" both Koita and Yuki shouted, rushing toward her to make sure she was okay.

Yuki reached her first, crouching next to her, while Koita stood nearby with his hands in his pockets, though his eyes showed a subtle worry.

"Are you alright?" Yuki asked as he examined her.

Maria, sitting on the ground and holding her nose, mumbled with a frown,

"Ow… my nose… that traitorous door tricked me…"

Before either of them could process the situation further, an unexpected sound came from inside Maria's locker.

"KkkkkkAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

The three of them snapped their heads up toward the source of the voice and found a mechanical screen had appeared inside Maria's locker.

On it was the face of an extremely excited machine in blue, with glowing mischievous eyes and an animated mouth that moved energetically.

"Hahaha! You fell right into my trap!!" the screen announced playfully, shaking as it laughed. "I love surprise reactions! Did you see how you flew backward? Ah, a historic moment!"

Maria froze in place, blinking twice as she stared at the screen with a blank expression.

"Wait… does my locker… have an AI?" she muttered slowly, while Koita and Yuki exchanged wary looks.

Suddenly—beep! Two more screens appeared inside their lockers, each showing a completely different machine face.

Koita's screen displayed a machine with a gloomy expression in green, as if it had given up on life. Even its digital eyes were half-closed, tired of existence.

"Uh… I don't want to be a locker… why was I created?" it muttered in a depressed voice, making Koita stare at it with extreme boredom.

As for Yuki's screen, it showed a machine with a shy expression in purple, its gaze shifting nervously left and right as if too embarrassed to interact.

"Oh… I'm sorry if I bother you… please take good care of me…" it whispered softly, while Yuki stared at it in astonishment.

A moment of silence fell between the three of them as they stared at their locker screens, until Maria finally spoke, pointing at hers.

"Oh, I think I got the crazy one…"

Maria stood up, rubbing her slightly aching nose, before placing her hands on her hips and looking at her closet with a sarcastic expression."Really? Now even the closets have their own personalities? What's next, a talking chair? A door that sings to me?"

she muttered, raising an eyebrow in boredom.

She approached her closet, where the screen still displayed the image of the energetic and mischievous AI, which was shaking with excitement, as if eager to talk to her.

"So, smart machine, do you have a name, or should I call you 'Betrayer' because of your sudden attack?" Maria asked, narrowing her eyes at the screen.

The machine emitted a digital sigh before speaking enthusiastically:

"Oh, of course I have a name! I'm Annabelle! And I'm happy to inform you that I'll be your companion throughout this entire school year!"

Maria raised an eyebrow again, staring at the screen.

"Your companion? You mean you're just a closet, right?"

"Haha! No, no! I won't just stay here! I'll be with you all the time, whether you're in class, sleeping, or even eating!" Annabelle said energetically, then added proudly, "I'm not just a closet; I'll be like your personal guide, tracking your wake-up time, your class schedule, your health, and even helping you make decisions!"

Maria slowly tilted her head, feeling the strangeness of the situation, but before she could respond, another screen appeared inside the closet, displaying a sophisticated wristwatch.

"This is the device that will keep you connected to me! Everything you need will be in it!"

Maria took the watch and looked at it, then thought for a moment before muttering to herself sarcastically:

"Oh, great… As if I wasn't already suffering from my magical watch that wakes me up in a brutal way… Now I have an annoying AI too? Lucky me!"

At that moment, she imagined a scene in her mind:

She was lying on her bed peacefully, sinking into a deep and restful sleep, when suddenly…

Both her magical watch and the AI Annabelle sat by her pillow, looking at her intently, then exchanged glances…

Suddenly, her magical watch started ringing at the top of its volume, while Annabelle shouted enthusiastically:

"Wakeeeeee up!!!"

In her imagination, Maria jumped out of bed in panic, screaming as if it were a nightmare, which brought her back to reality, shivering slightly.

"Noooooo... I don't even want to imagine that..." Maria muttered, holding her head, realizing that her school life was about to get more annoying than she had expected. "I hate that magical watch so much, I can almost hear it inside me."

While Maria was still processing her new disaster, both Koita and Yuki looked at her with expressions that combined sympathy and sarcasm.

"So... you now have a savage magical watch and an AI attached to you?" Yuki said, placing his hand on his chin thoughtfully.

"I respect the system that seeks to break your spirit in innovative ways." Koita added dryly, raising an eyebrow.

Maria looked at them with half-closed eyes before replying coldly:

"You guys don't understand the suffering… Imagine you're drowning in a deep, peaceful sleep, and then suddenly, you wake up to two annoying sounds, one yelling and the other blaring an alarm like the end of the world!"

She placed her hand over her heart as if recalling a real shock, then added:

"I can't take this... I'm just an innocent girl living her life simply, why is this happening to me?"

"Innocent girl?" Yuki repeated slowly, while Koita let out a short, mocking laugh.

Annabelle, still showing on the closet screen, laughed enthusiastically before saying:

"Don't worry, Maria! I'll make your life more efficient and organized! I'll make sure you're never late, I'll track your nutrition, and even suggest morning workouts!"

Maria froze in place… then her expression shifted to one of panic.

"M... Morning workouts?!"

Annabelle nodded enthusiastically:

"Of course! You need to keep fit and healthy, right? Don't worry, I'll wake you up every day at 5 AM so you can jog in the garden!"

Maria gasped as if she had heard something terrifying. She grabbed her head in shock, then turned to Kuita and Yuki with wide, panicked eyes.

"Help me… she's planning to destroy me!"

Kuita sighed, then patted her shoulder coldly, saying:

"Good luck, future explorer."

Meanwhile, Yuki just took out his phone and started filming her terrified expressions, muttering:

"This moment is worth documenting."

As Maria was drowning in her existential horror, a new voice came from Kuita and Yuki's cabinets...

Two additional screens appeared, one in each of their cabinets, as their own AI started speaking.

Kuita's AI had a gloomy tone, sighing in boredom as it appeared on the screen, speaking in a monotone voice:

"Hello… Ugh, how exhausting… My name is Totti, and I will be responsible for this miserable person's cabinet for the entire year..."

Kuita stared at his screen with a blank expression before saying:

"Finally, someone who understands me."

On the other hand, Yuki's AI was shy, its face appeared on the screen, looking at the virtual floor and stammering:

"I-I'm… hello… I'm Lolly… I-I'll help you through this year, I hope I won't be too annoying…"

Yuki smiled lightly and said with unexpected kindness:

"Oh, finally, someone decent around here."

Maria, still shocked by her fate, looked at her friends and said with obvious jealousy:

"Why am I the only one who got a crazy one?! Why are you two lucky?"

Annabelle laughed enthusiastically and said:

"Because you're special, Maria! Now, are you ready to stick to your new life schedule?"

Maria made a choking sound, as if she had surrendered to her fate…

Maria took a step back, looking at her cabinet's screen as if it were a monster that would pop out any moment. She put a hand on her forehead, pretending to faint while sighing deeply.

"I'm just a little girl, I've never hurt anyone in my life, why am I being persecuted like this?"

Kuita looked at her with sarcasm and said:

"A little girl? You're almost taller than me, don't try to act cute."

"That's not important right now!" Maria shouted, then pointed to Annabelle's screen. "Didn't you hear? I've signed an indirect slavery contract! I'm doomed! How am I supposed to live my life now?!"

Annabelle laughed enthusiastically, and then a chart appeared on her screen, showing a daily schedule filled with organized activities, like waking up at 5 AM, exercising, studying, self-development, and even mandatory sleep time.

"Look at this! I've prepared the perfect schedule for your new life!"

Maria felt a shiver run down her spine, her eyes becoming vacant as she stared at the schedule, as if seeing the end of her personal world.

"This... this is worse than hell..." she muttered, trembling.

Yuki and Koita moved closer, glancing at the schedule, before Yuki spoke with a sarcastic smile:

"It seems like you have a perfect life now, Maria. No more chaos, tardiness, or avoiding responsibilities."

"Yeah, you've finally become a responsible person." Koita added nonchalantly.

Maria slowly turned to them, her gaze filled with despair and betrayal. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"

Koita raised his hands in surrender: "I'm just watching the disaster unfold."

As for Yuki, he put his phone back in his pocket and said, "I'm just keeping beautiful memories."

Before Maria could respond, Annabelle's voice appeared again, even more enthusiastic than before:

"Maria! We need to start right away with the first step on your schedule! Deep breathing exercises to increase focus and energy!"

Maria gasped and quickly turned to flee, but the door to the hall suddenly closed, freezing her in place. She slowly turned to the screen, her eyes narrowing with suspicion.

"Don't tell me you..."

"Yes! I can control the systems of this place, just like all the AIs!" Annabelle said happily. "And that means there's no escape for you, Maria!"

At that moment, Koita and Yuki felt like they were watching an evil villain announce her victory over a wronged protagonist.

"I think this is the start of a very fun school year," Koita said, slipping his hands into his pockets.

"Yeah... at least for us," Yuki replied with a small smile.

As for Maria, she let out an inner scream, realizing that her life had turned into a technologically advanced hell...

After moments of shock and panic, the three artificial intelligences announced that it was time for them to transfer to their owners' smartwatches.

Annabelle: "Alright Maria, get ready! We're about to officially integrate! It's like a wedding between me and your watch!"

Maria: "What?! Who gave you that idea?! I never said yes!"

But Annabelle ignored her objections and began the dramatic transfer process. Beautiful neon lights erupted from the three closet screens, surrounded by enchanting visual effects, as if it were the final scene of an epic anime. Then, suddenly, the AIs transformed into streams of glowing data, rushing toward their respective smartwatches and settling inside them.

Koita, who wasn't too interested in the spectacle, looked at his watch where Tohti, his AI, appeared with his usual gloomy expression.

Koita: "Alright, Tohti, now that you're officially my personal assistant, let's start with the most important question: (silence) What are the tastiest foods I can eat today?"

A 3D holographic display appeared before him, showing images of delicious dishes, but in a very discouraging way.

Tohti (with a gloomy voice): "Here's a list of the most delicious foods available, but remember, no matter how tasty they are, they won't fill the emotional void in your life."

Koita: "…Why do I feel like I've entered a therapy session instead of looking for food?"

On the other side, Yuki was dealing with his AI, Lolly, in a completely different way.

Yuki (with a warm smile): "Lolly, you know? You have such a sweet voice, and your way of speaking is charming."

Lolly: "A-Ah… th-thank you, S-sir…" The screen turned pink, and her voice trembled with shyness.

Maria (staring at him in shock): "Did you just make an AI fall in love with you?!"

Yuki (calmly): "I'm not doing anything… I'm just treating her kindly."

Meanwhile, Maria was suffering with Annabelle, who hadn't stopped chattering since integrating with her smartwatch.

Annabelle: "Maria! Did you know there's a rare type of ant that can swim? Oh! What about the fact that humans spend a third of their lives sleeping? Isn't that crazy?!"

Maria put her hand on her face, taking deep breaths to try to stay calm.

Maria (to herself): "This is the last time I open my mouth and chat with someone... No more talking about silly things... My life was perfect before I was cursed with this disaster!"

Koita, who was enjoying watching Maria's suffering, muttered as he grabbed a physics book:

"So, should we start the lesson or wait for Maria to completely lose her mind first?"

Yuki: "I think the second one is more entertaining."

As for Maria, she let out a long sigh before sitting down in her seat, realizing that this school year was never going to be easy— it was going to be full of misfortunes...

.•. After a Few Minutes .•.

After a few minutes of waiting, the classroom door opened in complete silence. Everyone turned toward the door to see a man walking in with confident steps and a strong presence. He appeared to be in his twenties, standing at an average height of 178 cm, weighing 70 kg, with lightly visible muscles under his stylish clothes that accentuated his well-toned and distinguished figure.

His short, wavy hair was styled neatly upward, colored mustard yellow with emerald green and lemon yellow streaks, giving it both a vibrant and unique touch. His shiny apricot-orange eyes moved from one person to another, carrying a glimmer of wisdom and warmth, while his features conveyed both strength and gentleness.

The professor wore an elegant, long coat made from luxurious fabric, fading from deep black at the top to fiery orange at the hem, showcasing the clearly distinguished fabrics used in high-end places. It had intricate decorations that sparkled in the light like silver shards. The lighting reflected off it, casting an enchanting aura as though the coat carried with it a glow from another world. The sleeves were slightly wide at the bottom and adorned with fine embroidery in emerald green and mustard yellow around the cuffs, adding a touch of magic and sophistication that reflected his diverse and ever-evolving personality.

Underneath the coat, he wore a silky, shiny shirt in apricot-orange, gently glowing and reflecting a warm, tender side of his character. Through the neck opening, delicate golden designs interwove in a geometric pattern, as if representing the flow of light, harmonizing with his fascination with the world of physics.

His pants were black, slightly fitted to highlight his slender figure, and adorned with small metallic emerald-green decorations on the sides. The decorations gently lit up under the classroom's light, emphasizing his refined taste and love for elegance and beauty, while also reflecting his passion for the world of science and knowledge.

His shoes were long and made of soft black leather, with golden details and intricate patterns shaped like symmetrical circles that shimmered with every movement. The shoes themselves embodied his unique personality, blending luxury and practicality.

On his wrist, he wore an antique golden pocket watch, embellished with sky-blue and emerald-green gemstones. The watch's intricate mechanism seemed to represent the very concept of time and space that had captivated him throughout his life. His glasses had shiny black frames with lemon-yellow lenses, exuding an unconventional brilliance that mirrored the balance between intelligence and beauty.

In his hand, he wore a luxurious ring with an orange gemstone that gleamed in the light like a sunrise. The ring seemed to radiate an inner energy, as if the professor possessed a hidden power that matched his vast knowledge and deep wisdom.

His black leather belt fit snugly around his waist, with a small bag hanging from his side, containing small gemstones shaped in connected circles, reflecting his passion for science and energy. The bag seemed to hint at the electromagnetic waves he loved to study.

But what most distinguished his coat was the magical light it left behind with every movement. The fiery orange and emerald green tips seemed to imitate cosmic energy, glowing as if the coat itself shifted colors based on the lighting in the room, almost as though it reflected hidden secrets or undiscovered physical techniques.

As the students began to chat amongst themselves, the whispers of the girls in the class grew more distinct, especially after the new teacher entered.

Student 1 (whispering): "Did you see that? He's so handsome... I think he could be a star in any movie!"

Student 2 (with a shy smile): "Yes, and I love the way he dresses. And his eyes! Oh my, did you notice how intense his gaze was?"

Student 3 (in admiration): "Exactly! He seems to combine charm and intelligence! I think we're going to enjoy this year."

The students in the classroom were in a state of astonishment and respect. Each one was closely observing the new teacher, wondering if he had a strong teaching style.

Boy 1 (whispering): "Is he serious? I hope he's kinder than strict."

Boy 2 (in a low voice): "I hope so too."

While they exchanged these comments, Koita and Yuki gave Maria a quick glance at the teacher. Koita was carefully observing his walking pattern, as if planning to study every movement, while Yuki smiled gently, seemingly impressed as well. As for Maria, she was calmer, but her facial expression showed deep thought about his personality, wondering how strict he might be.

Then, the teacher approached his desk with steady steps, placed his bag on the table, and took a deep breath. He turned towards the blackboard, began writing his name in beautiful handwriting, as if intending to make every word written by his hand precise and pleasing to the eye.

Teacher (in a calm voice): "I am Mr. Clemens Wilson."

He then turned toward them, smiling as if he had been waiting for this moment for a long time. His face carried a mixture of seriousness and warmth, as if his style combined attraction with respect.

Clemens Wilson: "I know the beginning of the school year can usually be confusing, but we are here to learn and progress together."

Everyone responded by looking at him with admiration and interest, all aligned, eager to know more about this mysterious teacher.

Mr. Clemens Wilson smiled quietly and, with confident steps, moved toward the middle of the room while holding a physics book in his hand.

He raised it slightly, as if showcasing a precious treasure between his hands, and then spoke in a deep, calm voice that carried a warm tone, like a musical melody caressing the ears.

Clemens (with a soothing smile): "Physics is not the monster that haunts your nightmares, as some believe... It is more like a gentle melody; its notes tell the story of this universe, softly and quietly. Every law, every equation, is simply an attempt to understand the language of nature and unravel its mysteries."

At that moment, as if an invisible magic had spread throughout the room, a soft glow appeared behind him; beams of light seemed to weave a gentle aura around his body, making the scene even more serene and magnificent. All the students, without exception, were staring at him in awe.

Their expressions gradually changed, with complete relaxation overtaking their faces, and they exhaled in unison, as if freed from a heavy burden weighing on their chests.

A student in the back row (whispering): "Oh, this voice... I feel like I'm at a spa, not in a physics class!"

Another student (with half-closed eyes): "I wish he'd read me bedtime stories... his voice is so soothing."

But... there was one who wasn't affected. Maria, as usual, was out of sync with everyone else.

She raised an eyebrow in surprise, looking around to examine her classmates' expressions, who seemed to be floating on a comfortable cloud.

Maria (whispering to herself): "What is this? Did someone spray some kind of drug in the air or something?!"

She exchanged glances with Koita, who was almost lying on the table with relaxed features, while Yuki seemed like a child surrendering to the sound of peaceful music. Maria blinked twice in surprise, then shrugged indifferently before flashing a mischievous smile.

Suddenly, she raised her hand quickly as if deciding to turn the table upside down! Her voice broke the stillness of the class in a surprising way:

Maria (in a clear voice): "Mr. Clemens, can we not study today? I mean... it's our first day, right? How about a light day?"

There was a brief silence before she smiled half-heartedly and added, resting her elbow on the table and supporting her chin with her hand:

Maria (with playful mischief): "And also, I have a question... What happened to our old village, our ancestors' village? And that isolated island we lived on? Why doesn't anyone talk about it anymore?"

The teacher's expression froze for a moment, as if her question had pressed a button he hadn't intended to press just yet. A second or two of tension passed, and everyone noticed how Mr. Clemens Wilson gripped the pen he was holding between his fingers. Then he smiled, but it wasn't his usual confident smile; it looked more like the smile of someone trying to hide their anxiety.

Clemens (maintaining a calm tone): "Hmm... It seems you're curious, Miss Maria. Well..."

He looked at her for a moment, then quickly glanced at the rest of the students, who suddenly appeared more attentive. He realized that he could no longer avoid the question, especially with the murmurs of agreement that began rising from the rows.

Koita (raising his hand): "Actually, I'm interested in that too. I'd like to know."

Yuki (calm but curious): "Yes... what happened there is mysterious, isn't it?"

Mr. Clemens sighed quietly, then said in a gentle tone, though with an underlying subtle warning:

Clemens: "Well, I'll answer some questions briefly, but don't expect a long story. The full details are not my responsibility, and perhaps I shouldn't delve into them now."

He approached the front table, gently resting his hands on its edge, looking at the students with a serious expression, though not intimidating.

Clemens: "The village you're talking about, Maria... it was the cradle of the ancient lineage, where civilization and technologies flourished, and where the amazing abilities we once had were abundant. It is the foundation upon which our present is built; humans have taken our knowledge and our advanced technologies... but there's something they never got, and that's the manuscripts containing the secrets of the extraordinary abilities that were ours, or that we learned through the ages."

A moment of silence followed, before he continued in a slightly softer voice:

Clemens: "As for the island, it's not lost as some may claim... it's simply isolated, and its location is unknown after the recent assassination that struck us."

Silence fell again, before he continued:

Clemens: "What happened there... is tied to decisions made decades, perhaps even centuries, ago by groups of humans who thought we posed a threat to them, even though we entrusted them with peace. But don't worry... we'll get to those stories someday, when the time comes, perhaps during your future history lessons under your specialist professor."

Maria (with a side smile): "Oh, exciting stories, then! I'll wait with bated breath... or maybe I won't."

Some people laughed softly, while Koita whispered to Yuki:

Koita: "Maria will open the government files herself, I bet on that."

Yuki (with a calm smile): "Yes, and I think we'll be the only witnesses to what she'll do!"

Clemens raised his hand to restore order in the room, then spoke in his usual voice:

Clemens: "Now... let's get back to physics; it is the first key to understanding those secrets."

He pointed to the board, where simple equations gradually began to appear, as if being written by themselves, with glowing handwriting and soft lighting that matched the atmosphere of the scene. But Maria raised an eyebrow sarcastically and muttered to herself:

Maria (whispering): "Yes, because I really need the law of gravity... haha."

The class picked up again, smiles still hanging in the air, while the real questions waited for their time to be asked once more. The lesson resumed, with equations filling the board with their soft glow, while Clemens Wilson's voice remained as calm as ever, like the soundtrack of a nature documentary. The students were divided between two states: half of them were truly focused, while the other half was completely relaxed, as though they were receiving a sound therapy session.

As Maria looked around at the students, she flashed a breath-stealing smile at anyone who met her gaze. As she did, she felt sideways glances watching her, and then directed a direct look toward the screen through which you're watching... you, the readers.

Maria was initially puzzled, but she quickly realized what you were about to ask, and smiled confidently with a touch of sarcasm, saying:

"I know... you're wondering, aren't you?"

She pointed at Koita and Yuki, adding: "These two are close to me. And so are Tsuyo-chan and Yo-chan. Literally..." And as she spoke the last word, the screen pulled back slightly to show the entire classroom, then she continued, saying: "All the people here are close to me, whether by lineage, nation, or tribe. But we're just from different clans. We all belong to the same family tree."

"Who are you talking to, Maria-chan?" Yuki asked with concern, as he looked at her, noticing she was speaking to herself.

Maria responded in a dry voice with a cold, indifferent expression: "No one... it's just the symptoms of madness. Don't worry, it's not more harmful than hallucinations."

Koita was looking at her with a sarcastic smile, while Yuki seemed shocked by her comment.

But Maria didn't care much and began looking around again, as if the matter didn't concern her.

After a few minutes, the sound of pens scribbling on paper filled the room, with soft whispers between some students. But as usual, Maria didn't let the atmosphere settle for long.

She started writing some notes after several minutes of aimless staring, not because she cared much about physics, but simply to avoid staring directly into the teacher's eyes, who seemed to be hiding heavy secrets behind his smile. Then, without warning, she put the pen aside, leaned back in her chair, and crossed one leg over the other, silently signaling her readiness for another round of provocation.

Maria (in a quiet voice, as if thinking aloud): "If the potential energy in the law of gravity worked by attracting silence instead of objects... we'd save a lot of time, wouldn't we?"

Koita heard her and suppressed a laugh that almost slipped out, while Yuki gave her a side glance with a slight smile.

Yuki (softly): "Try not to provoke him again... we don't want his calm voice to turn into a lecture on behavior."

But Maria did not respond; she simply widened her smile in a way that carried all the meanings of a challenge.

However, Clemens was smarter than anyone expected. He suddenly stopped his explanation, lifted his eyes calmly towards Maria, and looked at her with a gaze that held no anger... but rather a kind of deep curiosity.

Clemens (confidently, with a slight smile): "Miss Maria... it seems you understand the laws of attraction in your own way. Why don't you explain to your classmates the effect of the mutual force between bodies... but instead of bodies, use silence, as you mentioned?"

The whispers stopped, and all eyes turned to Maria, as if everyone were waiting for an imminent verbal duel.

But Maria, with her usual sense of humor, raised her hand to her forehead as if performing a sarcastic military salute.

Maria (cheerfully): "At your service, Commander!"

Then she continued in the same playful tone, but with a hint of intelligence that was hard to miss:

"The mutual force between bodies or truths depends on mass... the larger and heavier the truth, the stronger its attraction. Even if some try to bury it at the bottom of the sea of forgetfulness, it will still rise to the surface due to the gravitational pull... and maybe curiosity!"

Clemens' expression relaxed for a moment, as if her words had hit an area he wasn't prepared for. But he regained his composure quickly and nodded slowly.

Clemens: "An innovative answer... and somewhat correct."

He then added as he returned to explaining the equations:

"But we must remember... not everything that floats on the surface is a pearl. And your answer, despite its intelligence, was not silent as you anticipated."

Some soft laughs and whispers rose among the students, while Maria raised an eyebrow, as if to say, "Alright, this round goes to you, Mr. Clemens!"

However, amidst those clever phrases and light banter, the question still hung in the air... that village, that island, and the ancient manuscripts... they were not just a myth to pass the time. There was something... something waiting for those brave enough to look behind the silent walls.

As the class neared its end, Clemens wrapped up the lesson, closed his book, and then spoke in a tone that carried a hint of encouragement:

Clemens: "In the next lesson, we will discuss energy... and perhaps, we will touch a bit on the energy of the questions that drive us to search, more than any physical equation."

The students stopped writing, looking as if they had just finished a long battle; some kissed their hands as if they had survived a war, while others exchanged meaningful glances.

Meanwhile, Maria remained seated for a moment, drawing small circles on the surface of the table with her fingertips as she silently thought. Then, she pulled out her book and began to draw something in it.

Maria (whispering to herself): "Alright... it seems like a new chapter is waiting for me."

The lesson was over, but the atmosphere was still charged, not with the usual boredom or tension, but with something else... something the class had never experienced before.

Maria stayed seated in her place, barely moving after Clemens folded his notebook and closed his book.

While most of the students began gathering their things or whispering about the lesson, she had already pulled out her other notebook—not her regular notes, but her old one with the black cover.

She opened it quietly and began to draw something that seemed difficult and unusually precise.

She held the pen lightly, as if her hand never trembled, and her eyes were intensely focused on the lines, as if drawing a secret map that could not afford mistakes.

The large circle shape began to take form... on the right side, there were multiple suns drawn in varying sizes and shapes, each pulsing with intricate details of lines and rays, some of them seemed to contain ancient symbols within them.

On the other side, darkness took over half the circle, and there, the moons were different too, some full, some crescent, and others appeared as cracked moons with delicate chains dangling from them.

Koita, as usual, was devouring candy of a type no one knew how he hid during class. Yuki was trying to stop him, or at least reduce the quantity.

Yuki (in a hushed, annoyed tone): "Koita, that's the third chocolate bar in ten minutes... are you planning to die or what?"

Koita replied, chewing calmly: "The best death is a death by candy... forget about health philosophy."

Yuki sighed, extending his hand to take what was left, but Koita swiftly pulled the last candy away.

Yuki (in despair): "It's over... tomorrow, if you get diabetes, don't come crying to me."

But suddenly, Yuki noticed something. He took his eyes off Koita's childish antics and stared towards Maria, who usually filled the room with her movements or sarcastic remarks. Now... completely silent.

Yuki (in a hushed voice, directing his attention to Koita): "Look at Maria."

Koita glanced at Kessil first, then focused more when he noticed her strange silence. He was used to seeing her always laughing or challenging Clemens, even during the hardest lessons. But now, there was no sound.

Yuki leaned a little closer and bent down to look at what she was drawing. Koita turned as well and joined him. Both of their eyes widened slowly.

Koita whispered, "Oh my God... when did you learn to draw like this?!"

Yuki was silent for a few moments, then said, "It's not the drawing that's worrying... I've seen this shape before."

Before they could ask her, they heard soft footsteps behind them. Clemens had been walking around the classroom after the class ended, his usual expression giving no hint of what he was thinking. He passed by them but suddenly stopped.

His eyes fell on Maria's notebook and the drawing that filled the page so clearly. He approached without saying anything at first, then bent down slightly to examine the finer details. A long, heavy silence followed, and then he spoke in a calm tone, but with something deeper underneath:

"An intricate drawing... where did you get this from?"

Maria raised her eyes to him, and for a moment, it seemed like she was about to answer, but she fell silent. Then she shrugged her shoulders with feigned indifference and said, "I just drew it... I was thinking, and this shape came out. Why? Do you know it?"

Clemens stared at her, then simply said, "Yes... I know it."

Maria tilted her head, as if mocking, but she was trying to hide her interest. She looked at him and said, "So, why don't you tell us about it, Mr. Clemens?"

Clemens stood up straight and raised his hand slightly, as if calling for silence, even though they were already quiet with surprise.

He spoke softly, but it grabbed everyone's attention: "This drawing... represents the mark of the legendary Dragon Bearers."

The students' eyes widened, and whispers faded suddenly, as if everyone wanted to hear what he would say next.

Clemens continued: "The Sun Dragon and the Moon Dragon. The most powerful creatures that exist across all the galaxies. No one has seen the forms of the dragons, except those chosen to bear them within their bodies. And this circle that Miss Maria is drawing... is not just a sketch. It is the mark that appears as a tattoo on the back of the one chosen."

Koita opened his mouth but didn't speak. Yuki furrowed his brows, looking at Maria with a question, while she... remained motionless.

Clemens spoke calmly: "This tattoo... doesn't appear on just anyone, and it cannot be copied. Only the chosen one can bear it... and to draw it with such precision means one thing."

He paused for a few seconds, then asked her, "Where have you seen this?"

Maria, without lifting her eyes, spoke in a cold tone, "I told you... I drew it from my imagination."

Clemens didn't seem convinced, but he didn't press further. Instead, he stared at her for a long moment, then said, "If this came from your imagination... it holds truths you shouldn't have known yet."

Maria whispered, unintentionally audible, "Yet...?"

Clemens smiled a small smile, as though it contained a secret he didn't want to reveal, then turned to head back to his desk. But before sitting down, he said with a tone that carried a hint of warning: "Questions... might open doors that can never be closed."

Whispers returned among the students, but Maria remained silent, lost in her thoughts, drawing small circles with her fingertips on the surface of the desk, as if trying to decipher something. Suddenly, she became aware of Yuki and Koita's gazes on her, so she lifted her head and put on her usual mask of indifference.

Yuki spoke with concern: "Maria... are you okay?"

Maria answered with a cold smile, "Just... tired, don't worry. The symptoms of madness, as I told you, are harmless."

But Koita didn't buy the excuse easily. He moved closer and looked at her with eyes that held more questions. Finally, he said, "You've never been like this before... what happened?"

Maria looked at him for a moment, then laughed lightly, though the laugh was somewhat empty: "Koita... Yuki... sometimes, things show up before their time, right? Maybe it's their time now."

Koita and Yuki exchanged glances, not fully understanding, but a strange feeling started creeping over them.

At that moment, the bell rang for the end of the class. Mr. Clemens packed his bag, ready to leave, and said, "See you later, my new students."

The students sighed in relief as the class ended. Some laughed and stretched as if they had just returned from a battle, but Maria stayed in her seat, idly playing with her pen between her fingers, staring at the page... and that circle, the sun and the moon, light and darkness... and the thing waiting behind the silent walls.

Maria whispered to herself: "... Impossible."

In Maria's Room / Afternoon

In that quiet room, which used to be filled with movement and noise, Maria's school jackets, white shirt, and black shoes were scattered carelessly on the floor. It seemed as though she had abandoned her habit of arranging everything with precision, as though something had stolen that need for order from her.

In the middle of the room, Maria stood in front of the large mirror, her back to her reflection. She was wearing only her black trousers and knee-high socks. The top half of her body remained completely bare, glowing under the sunlight streaming in from the window.

She was gathering her hair with her fingers, trying to tie it into a messy bun on top of her head. Some strands fell onto her neck and shoulders, but she paid them no attention. On a small table near the bed lay her magical watch, next to her AI-powered wristwatch.

The two tiny screens flickered with a faint light, as if they were silently observing Maria, unable to comprehend what was happening in her mind.

Maria stared deeply into the mirror, or rather, at her reflection's back. Her gaze wasn't lost... but sharp, focused on only one thing. There, on her back, was the same tattoo she had drawn in her black notebook during class.

A complex circle, half of it light adorned with various suns, the other half darkness crowned with multiple moons. Fine lines and intricate engravings, as if carved by the hand of an expert.

What made it even stranger was the mark—slight burns that extended from the base of her spine, slowly climbing up to the middle of her back, as if it had either been born with her, engraved, or burned into her flesh.

As she looked at it, words from Clemens crept into her mind, as though his voice was whispering in her ear again, even though the room was silent: "This drawing... represents the mark of the Legendary Dragon Bearers."

She closed her eyes for a moment, breathing slowly, then another voice from the memory of their conversation echoed: "The Dragon of the Sun, and the Dragon of the Moon. The strongest beings to ever exist in all the galaxies."

A heavy feeling surged in her chest, as if those words weren't just legends, but a truth written on her skin. She reached out, her fingertips touching the lines of the tattoo, feeling that truth she hadn't known existed until now.

She sighed slowly, her voice barely audible, then spoke while still staring at herself, as if trying to convince herself: "I can't be... the bearer of the two dragons, it's impossible. No one would choose a girl... who avoids school duties, who loves hanging out on building roofs."

But despite what she said, she bent down and picked up her white shirt from the floor, brushing off the dust lightly. She slowly slipped her hands into the sleeves, first the right hand, then the left, in a slow and steady rhythm, as if every movement had meaning. She pulled the fabric over her shoulders, gently tightened it, and buttoned each one, one by one. When she reached the last button, her hand paused for a moment, as if reconsidering what she had just said.

Maria (with a frown): "But why would I care... Suddenly, it turns into a legendary tattoo, as if I'm in some fantasy story where the hero is known by a mark."

Her last whisper came out like a confession, or perhaps the beginning of accepting a truth she could no longer deny.

After finishing putting on her shirt, she tugged the edges to adjust it around her waist, then sighed again. She remained standing for a moment, contemplating her reflection, before slowly turning toward the open balcony, the white curtains gently flowing in the breeze, caressed by a light wind.

Maria took silent steps toward the balcony, brushing the curtains aside with her fingers, and stepped outside. She stood there, leaning her hands on the cold railing, her eyes scanning the horizon, where the forests, mountains, and the sky met the edges of the school, as if the world was still calm, far from any inevitable fate.

Then, in a barely audible voice, Maria said, "It doesn't matter if I'm the chosen one... what matters is that I live my life... without struggle."
