Season 1: Arc'The Training 'Ep 3

SEASON ONE: EPISODE 3[Mr. Ray]

Location: Maria's Bedroom – Purity Organization School

Time: 6:45 AM

Opening Scene:

The scene begins with Maria's reflection in her bedroom mirror as she carefully applies cherry-flavored lip gloss with the precision of a sacred ritual.

She finishes the final touches, then gazes at her reflection with a critical eye before a satisfied smile spreads across her lips—an unspoken verdict: undeniably perfect.

Turning toward the door, she is just about to leave when she suddenly halts. Her eyes flick back to the mirror, then shift to her smart watch, which glows with vibrant blue digits.

Maria (curious and calm, as if discussing the fate of the universe):"How much time do we have before heading to the dining hall?"

A moment of silence blankets the room before Annabelle, her smart watch, enthusiastically breaks it.

Annabelle (cheerful, with an unnecessary amount of morning energy):"The time is now 06:45 AM! You need to be in the dining hall by 7:00 AM. Based on my genius calculations, you have exactly 15 minutes left!"

Maria (smirking, her tone dramatic, as if she were an Italian mafia boss):"Buono~ (Good)."

She steps closer to the mirror, her gaze sharpening as she analyzes every tiny detail of her appearance. Then, with deliberate slowness, she raises her hands to her hair tie and pulls it loose.

The moment is almost cinematic—the instant her hair is freed, her brown hair, like chocolate, with strands of royal blue and light blue, cascades down her back like waves dancing under the moonlight.

Another Location – One of the Hallways in the Purity Organization School

The hallway buzzed with noise, filled with students gathered in groups, exchanging laughter and casual conversations. Near the entrance leading to the dining hall, four individuals stood waiting for someone who was—once again—running far too late. Or rather, as always, keeping up with their chaotic tradition of being late.

Koita (clearly irritated, shoving his hands into his pockets as if the temperature had suddenly dropped):

"Does she have to be late every single week?! This is the last week of the first month, and she's still sticking to her ridiculous tradition! Does she have an actual schedule dedicated to delaying us?!"

Yuta (smiling gently, trying to keep the peace like a therapist calming down a group of angry patients):"Don't say that, Koita-kun. Maria-chan will be here soon, so don't worry, okay?"

Koita (staring at Yuta with blatant sarcasm and boredom, as if looking at someone who believes gravity is just a suggestion rather than a law):"What about my food? Does no one care about that?!"

Tsuyuko (coolly, leaning against the wall with one foot propped up, looking like a warrior preparing for an epic battle):

"Hold yourself together, man… The food isn't going to run away from you."

(Then, internally, with pure sarcasm:)

"I'm pretty sure your dad forced you to come here just because he's afraid your appetite will bankrupt his fortune."

Koita (dramatically, on the verge of despair):"I can't take this anymore! I'm calling her!"

He swiftly pulled out his phone and began dialing. Yuta looked slightly worried, while Tsuyuko barely raised an eyebrow—she knew Maria wouldn't answer. Meanwhile, Yuki observed the whole scene in silence, as if watching a documentary on the lives of fools.

(Ringing… Ringing… Ringing… No answer.)

Koita (groaning in frustration, pressing the call button again with supernatural determination, his eyes shining with the passion of a man demanding his sacred right to breakfast):

"Hey! Pick up, you idiot!"

But again… no response. Just as he was about to call for the twentieth time, a wave of hushed whispers started rippling through the hallway, gradually growing into a noticeable buzz.

The four turned toward the source of the commotion, their curiosity piqued—only to find themselves witnessing a stunning sight.

Location: Purity Organization School – Hallway Leading to the Dining Hall

Time: 6:50 AM

In the center of the hallway, where the dim morning lights cast a faint glow on the polished floor, Maria strode forward with quiet confidence. Her hair—usually tied up—was now free, cascading over her shoulders and back like a silky waterfall.

She looked like she had just stepped out of a luxury advertisement, with a soft breeze adding a cinematic touch to her every movement.

But it wasn't just about her hair—it was the way she walked, like she was gliding down a fashion runway. It was the look in her eyes, filled with effortless confidence. It was the aura surrounding her, enigmatic and undeniable.

Everyone was staring. Some in admiration, some in sheer awe.

Random Guy (blushing slightly, smiling dreamily):"She's absolutely stunning…"

Random Girl (in admiration, with a hint of envy):"I wish I had even half of her confidence and beauty."

Another Guy (whispering to his friend with open admiration):"Oh man, her future husband is one lucky guy!"

His Friend (nodding in agreement):"Right? If I were him, I wouldn't even let her leave the house!"

Amidst the murmurs and gazes of admiration, Maria continued walking at her own unhurried pace, savoring the attention like a morning delicacy.

Lifting her chin slightly, she smiled to herself in an imaginary mirror she envisioned ahead, thinking in delight:

"Yes, a little bit of early morning radiance never hurts, does it?"

She halted as she finally spotted her friends, and in a sudden burst of energy, she raised her hand excitedly before dashing toward them.

Maria (cheerfully, waving her arm as she called out in Italian):"Amici, sono arrivata! (Friends, I've arrived!)"

In that instant, Tsuyuko realized something critical. Her eyes widened in alarm as she turned to the three guys standing beside her and urgently warned:"Guys, don't look at her before"

But it was too late.

She glanced at Yuta, Koita, and Yuki—only to find them completely frozen in place, their eyes wide as if they had just witnessed the descent of an angel. Their expressions were a mix of shock and fatal love.

Tsuyuko placed a hand on her forehead in exasperation, whispering to herself:

"Oh my God… why do I deal with these idiots every day?"

Maria approached them cheerfully, stopping in front of Tsuyuko while completely ignoring the three young men's mesmerized stares. She smiled gently at her.

Maria (playfully): "Good morning, Tsuyu-chan!"

Then, she swiftly turned to the other three, giving them a brief, casual wave.

"Oh, and good morning to you guys too."

The three (in unison, dreamily): "Good morning, Maria..."

Maria didn't even bother replying and refocused her attention on Tsuyuko, who was looking at her with obvious boredom.

Tsuyuko (mocking a yawn): "Good morning, lazy girl. You're late again, and Koita here was about to have a full-on meltdown. He called you over twenty times, and you didn't answer even once."

Maria (overly innocent, blinking with childlike surprise): "Really?"

She turned to Koita, her eyes widening like a pure-hearted child, then asked in a tone of exaggerated curiosity:

"Is that true, Koita-kun?"

Koita, who had been fuming just moments ago, completely froze. His lips parted slightly, as if his brain had just suffered a critical error. He mumbled in a barely audible voice:

"No, no… nothing like that happened. I was just… making sure you were okay, of course! I wasn't tired at all, I swear!"

Maria gave him a dazzling smile that seemed to sparkle in an imaginary glow around her. Then, placing a hand over her chest dramatically, she replied sweetly:

"Oh, how kind of you to be so understanding, Koita-kun."

Koita (internally, staring at her as if he had fallen in love all over again): "Oh God… my name sounds so beautiful when she says it!"

Yuta (internally, staring at her with affection): "She's so adorable!"

Yuki (calmly, trying to act natural but blushing deeply): "She's breathtaking..."

All three of them (out loud, dreamily, to themselves): "She's absolutely perfect!"

As Tsuyuko watched them with visible disgust, Maria smiled playfully, lifted her arms high, and then suddenly leaped toward Tsuyuko with excitement.

Maria (happily yelling as she jumped at her): "Tsuyu-chaaaan!"

Tsuyuko (coldly, stepping to the side): "Stay away from me."

BOOM!

Maria crashed into the wall that was directly behind Tsuyuko, then slid down to the floor smoothly, as if she were a cartoon character that had just lost its gravity. She remained sitting on the ground, holding her face in pain, while Tsuyuko let out an exasperated sigh.

Tsuyuko (sarcastically, crossing her arms): "I don't understand you. You run away from all those admirers, yet you chase after the one person who doesn't care about you?"

Maria (with fake sadness, lifting her head and placing a hand over her heart): "Because I care about you, Tsuyu-chan!"

Tsuyuko (irritated, waving her hand dismissively): "Cut it out right now! I've had enough bromance scenes in anime, and I have no intention of falling into a sisromance with you! Is that clear?"

Maria stood up with the help of Yuta and Yuki, while Koita glared at them with intense jealousy, as if they had just committed a crime of honor against him.

Maria (smirking as she dusted off her clothes): "As if I care about those silly classifications. Anyway, let's go eat breakfast. My stomach has started playing a symphony of hunger!"

Maria started walking toward the dining hall, while the three followed after her as if they were metal drawn to a magnet. As for Tsuyuko, she simply sighed again and reluctantly followed them, muttering to herself: "What did I do in my life to deserve a bunch of lunatics?"

Tsuyuko Pov

Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Nakamura Tsuyuko, the youngest daughter of Nakamura Takeshi and (Ringar Kazuko), from the Dragonblood tribe. If we trace our roots back to our ancestors, I'm from the (Sosaki clan), the clan of the Earth. I have an older brother, Yuta, but we also have a third older brother named Nakamura Takeshi. Yes, I know his name is the same as our father's, but we simply call him "Nakamura" so we don't get confused with names!

Maria and I have been friends since childhood. I met her because our parents were friends, or rather, they had the same kind of relationship that Maria and I have now. (She looked at Maria, who was surrounded by a group of students chatting with her enthusiastically, while she responded to them with a spontaneous smile.)

Every time I think I should let go of her, I remember her naivety, and it makes me feel a deep regret, to the point where I just can't leave her. I'm afraid… afraid that if I leave her, something might happen to her and she wouldn't even know! So, no matter what, I can't leave her, even if her words annoy me or if she mocks me.

Sometimes, when she makes fun of my height, my heart tries to stay calm because I'm scared that if I lose my temper, I might hurt her feelings… or worse, she might not allow me to speak to her again.

(Tsuyuko finished her food and went to her class)

But every time I lose control and start hitting her, when I regain control and freeze in place, I see her coming to apologize to me. I accept her apology with great difficulty after a moment of hesitation. You might see me as aggressive with Maria sometimes, but in reality, she understands my situation quickly. Unlike some people who think I'm threatening them!

As for me, my dream is to reach my father's level of strength. That's the main reason I joined the organization. First, because my father asked me to, and secondly, to be honest, the real reason is that I want to reach his level of power. In battle, when he has to, he only uses 12% of his power, and that power can destroy places you can't even imagine! I can't believe that power could even be real.

(The scene shifts to Tsuyuko in the large back garden of the school organization, sitting at one of the tables there, sipping tea. The table was long and rectangular with a view of the long, narrow roof that shielded the sunlight. Maria was sitting nearby, discussing with the governess how many cakes she could take.)

The main purpose of the organization is to fight the creatures of the night known as "Embras." They are a massive group of countless monsters that appear at sunset and disappear at sunrise. At first, they only appeared in complete darkness, but for years, they have started to appear at sunset, as if they've evolved to adapt to that hour.

Embras cannot withstand sunlight. If exposed to it, they instantly melt. That's why we call them "night creatures." You might think these monsters only exist in Japan, but that's a mistake. Embras are found in many countries like India, Thailand, Algeria, Kenya, and even Greek.

You can find these creatures everywhere, so never think there is a place that's safe from them.

They're even present on other planets, in many galaxies, under the control of the evil emperor: "Emperor of the Void."

The emperor of the Embras is an unknown figure. We know nothing about his appearance, abilities, or even his thoughts. The only thing we know is that he belongs to our tribe, "Ringar Kazuko," specifically to the "Kouraku" clan, the clan of darkness.

That's the only thing we know about him. As for the Embras under his control, they're not creatures that were born this way; they were altered somehow. We don't know if they were injected or biologically changed, but before becoming Embras, they were just ordinary humans and animals.

Embras consist of three ranks:

1. Third rank (the weakest): These are the servants. They were humans and animals from this world and others who were transformed into this form.

2. Second rank (the middle): These are creatures from the planet "Naratha." I don't know why the emperor chose them, but what I do know is that they are malicious beings, manipulating you and then throwing you away.

3. First rank (the strongest): These are the masters of destruction. They consist of twenty destroyers, ten of them are the lower lords, and the other ten are the higher lords. Their power is unimaginable, but the only thing known about them is that they are from our species, from "Ringar Kazuko," but we don't know from which clan.

I just hope to meet the Emperor of the Void someday and fight him. That's one of my big wishes.
