Chapter 7

After a period of passionate love, Caspian couldn't help but show his true colors and started demanding Beatrix take care of him.

But Beatrix wasn't like me. To her, dating Caspian was already a concession, so how could she possibly take care of him like I did?

Caspian was quickly dumped, and his agency went bankrupt.

"I am so unlucky, encountering such a company, practicing vocals for fourteen hours a day. If only I were still in school, how happy I'd be."

"Ah, women in New York are so materialistic. I'm just not famous yet, not that I'll never be famous, and they won't even have a drink with me!"

"I switched to a new company, but it's not great either. If I had known, I wouldn't have come here..."

"New York isn't as great as they say. The people here are not as good as folks from our small town."

I had Caspian's messages on silent, only checking occasionally. When I saw this message, I couldn't help but laugh.
