I sacrificed my sight to save Adam. He solemnly swore to always be my eyes and never leave me.
I conscientiously follow the doctor's advice. On the day my vision recovered, I couldn't wait to rush home to share this news.
What greeted me was the scene of Adam and his female assistant entangled on my bed. The woman was panting softly, and Adam was mesmerized as he gasped for breath and called out the woman's name:
"Adam, why don't you leave that blind old woman? I am the one who is truly suitable for you."
"I know, baby. Don't worry, I'm going to dump her sooner or later."
That night, it snowed heavily.
I was wearing a thin piece of clothing and booked a plane ticket.
The destination of the plane ticket is a place that Adam will never be able to find.

Blind Betrayal

"Your audacity astounds me, maintaining such composure while inviting me home. You sought excitement initially, but now you must face the consequences."


My words pierced Adam's heart like razor-sharp daggers, each one twisting deeper. The pain was so intense he struggled to breathe.


Just as I was about to relent, Kelly appeared. Adam had claimed he'd killed her, but that was another lie. She was alive and well, looking exactly as she had three years ago when I left.


"Dare to strike Adam, and I'll render you useless. Though you're practically worthless already."


Kelly's face was twisted with malice, but it quickly changed to a fawning expression as she approached Adam.


Facing Kelly's mockery, I couldn't contain myself any longer. If she dared to act so brazenly in my domain, I'd ensure she left crawling. "Now that all the mongrels are present, shall I shut the door and teach them a lesson?"
