Seven years after becoming Pearson's deaf-mute wife, a car accident restored my hearing.

I endured the pain of steel piercing my skin and made a video call to Pearson.

Before I could speak, I heard the voice of my best friend: "Pearson, can you accompany me and my child tonight?"

Pearson told me indifferently that he couldn't go home because of work, but at the same time turned his head and answered her: "Of course!"
