His hand, peeking out from his suit sleeve, tightened into a fist. He bit his lip and lowered his head, saying, "I'm sorry, Callie. I was wrong. Do we... really not have any chance left?"

I lowered my hand and scrutinized Pearson's pitiful appearance, looking like a stray dog begging for food. I laughed, "Mr. Langdon, you seem to have a selective memory. You have a family and children, and now you want to have an affair? Mr. Langdon, are you addicted to cheating? Why don't you ask your wife if she's okay with it?"
