Sirius got to the stairwell and flew up to the top floor, arriving nearly instantly and rushed into the hallway. There outside of room 505 stood a group of 20 gangsters. He readied himself for another fight as he shook his muscles and began running down the hallway, fangs bearing intimidatingly.
However, when he reached the room, the gangsters moved out of his way, not running, but not blocking him either. In fact, they seemed to welcome him into the room. The door was already open.
This made him very cautious, had the man harmed Saoirse? He hoped not, during his battle downstairs, he hadn't had time to tell if the pain he felt, emotions he felt, or rushing thoughts had come from him or from her.
It seemed like he hadn't felt anything when she was drugged because he had seen her passed out and he was fine, which made him question how much he really was able to know about her just from their bond.
A chill ran down his spine as the eerie air got colder the closer that he got to the open door.
He cautiously approached the door, held his breath and then let it out, seeing a frosted puff of air leave his lips, he peered inside. The gangsters did nothing to stop him.
What he saw made him gasp. The room was as if a storm had hit it, ice was everywhere, it coated the floor in a thin layer of frost, it frosted the windows and the glass doors to the balcony.
Fierce shards painted with blood jutted from the walls.
His heart sank. There was no trace of the girl he had come to save except for her beautiful blue dress which she had been wearing. It had been torn and discarded on the floor and on the bed was an immense amount of blood, which also splattered across the room. He followed the blood trail with his eyes, dread beginning to fill him as he imagined the horror that sweet girl had been through. Tears welling up in his eyes.
But then he was confused.
Thrown at the opposite wall lay the arm of the man who Sirius had come to fight.
He turned around in shock and looked at the gangsters, he looked in shock at Carlston. "What happened?" He tried to say.
Carlston just put his hand on Sirius' shoulder and said, "Told you that she was out of your league."

Behind them, the elevator made a ding sound, and the group of men turned to see that Saoirse had returned, dragging behind her a bloody, beaten up Aksel.
She pushed him towards Sirius and he fell to the floor at his feet.
"I thought I'd find you up here." She said looking at Sirius with her beautiful azure eyes.
"Well officer, you may arrest this pervert." She said since all Sirius could do was stand there.
He cleared his throat. "Umm.. thank you Miss …" he stammered.
"That's Mrs." She said a bit playfully, "It's nice to finally meet you."
The air was a bit awkward, so Aksel looked up at Sirius and tried to say something, but Saoirse kicked him in the butt and he fell back onto his face. "You don't get to talk to my husband." She said, "You're just an idiot that tried to make a fool out of me."
Then she stepped forward and stripped the beads from Aksel's hair, and took his wallet out of his pocket and removed his ID card and his credit card.
"By the way, this is my money and those packs were defeated by me, so they are my territory, and if you dare show your face in any of them, you will regret it."
She turned around and went back down the hallway towards the elevators and the men knew that was their cue to follow her.
Sirius scrambled to lift Aksel to his feet, tying the severed arm with a tourniquet from his waistband, and cuffed his good wrist to his own and led him towards the end of the hallway.
Some men were about to get onto the elevator with Saoirse when she stopped them, "No, none of you tried to protect me when you knew what that piece of crap was up to, so you can all take the stairs."
Then she beckoned Sirius to follow her and Sirius pulled Aksel onto the elevator with him and they rode in silence to the lobby.
The man behind the desk was peering out from behind it as they got to the bottom and Saoirse walked right up to him.
"Here is my contact card, I apologize for the inconvenience that this idiot has caused, please have your owner give me a call, I will pay for the repairs to the room, as well as the lobby and the cleaning fees."
Some backup officers had arrived on the scene as well as an ambulance and already loaded up the other injured men. Sirius handed Aksel over to his fellow officer and they loaded him up as well.
"You are a crazy man." His fellow officer said to Sirius as he took a look at the trashed lobby. He filled out a quick police report about the incident and handed it back to his companion.
Then they turned and left.
The gangsters silently walked past them and got into their cars as well.
Carlston followed behind them and stopped to give Sirius a hug. "Oh thank you so much Sirius, I was so worried about that girl." Then he turned around and looked at her and bowed. "Me and my companions may serve the Alpha, but if you ever need us, don't hesitate to ask, you've earned our highest respect."
She nodded back to him, not sure if he was a good guy or a bad guy, but if he was a friend to Sirius, she felt there must be good in him. "I will, thank you." She said.
Sirius and Saoirse were now standing next to each other and he still didn't know what to say. This girl that he had just met, he had never met anyone as incredible. If he had her in his life, she would be his whole world.
In that moment, she reached out to him and pulled him into a hug, burying her face into his chest and smelled that smell she had searched for so long for. Tears ran down her face and she wet the front of his shirt and cried for a while.
He hugged her tightly, just holding her and began to sob too, the two of them sank to their knees and sat on the floor for a while.
Then she looked up at him and asked gently, "what took you so long?"
