Ambush!!

"Who would have guessed we'd stumble upon the Uzumaki Beast?" a grotesque voice echoed from all directions, as if it was omnipresent. "Your bounty will certainly bring great benefits to our Momochi clan."

The voice seemed to care little about concealing their identity. The seasoned guards of the Senju clan had already prepared their jutsus, sensing the enemies' ominous approach. Each time the voice spoke, it seemed to come from right behind them.

Aina, unfazed by the shinobi's use of her nickname, waved her hand from left to right. A sword's hilt rested on her wrist, and with a swift motion, she unleashed

"Wind Release: Breakthrough."

A massive amount of chakra surged forth, obeying her will as it formed circular movements from the swing of her hand.

The guards and enemy ninjas watched in awe as the heavy, solidified mist covering their tracks was blown away. What surprised them, however, was not the jutsu's power or the fact that their tracks had been uncovered.

It was that the gentle-looking lady, renowned for her mastery of swordsmanship, had used a jutsu by completely flipping its mechanics.

The Breakthrough jutsu typically required releasing concentrated chakra from the mouth to create varying degrees of wind. But Aina had achieved it with just a swing of her blade, demonstrating unparalleled chakra control.

Tatsuya's eyes twinkled as he watched the chakra movement up close. Guided by his mother's authority, the raging winds cleared the dense mist surrounding them. The Senju guards seized the opportunity, releasing their jutsus to counter the incoming attacks.

Two kunais hurtled towards Tatsuya, who clung to his mother's shoulders. Without needing to say a word, Aina moved with incredible speed, as if skiing down a snowy slope. Her eyes flashed with anger, and she intensified her efforts, slicing through the mist ninjas with renewed ferocity.

The Momochi ninjas faltered, their movements slowing as Aina's attacks grew more intense. Blood flowed as her sword struck the enemy ninja who had thrown the kunais. The other guards continued fighting, but with Aina's involvement, the tide of the battle shifted dramatically.

She moved with unprecedented speed, finding gaps in the enemy formation and slicing down most of the ninjas without showing a single emotion. Finally, with a swift and deadly strike, Aina dispatched the last of the Momochi clan ninjas.

The forest fell silent, the only sound the heavy breathing of the surviving guards. Tatsuya watched it all, but the events were mostly a blur due to his mother's incredible speed.

Once the battle ceased, Tatsuya looked around, taking in the gruesome scene. Blood and dead bodies surrounded him and the other Senju guards. A wave of bile rushed up his throat, and he immediately jumped off his mother's back, vomiting uncontrollably.

Aina sensed her son's distress and quickly turned to him, her voice filled with concern. "You okay, little one? Okay? Okay?" she asked, patting his back reassuringly.

Tatsuya paused, closing his eyes before reopening them with a determined glint. "I'm... I'm good," he said, his voice resolute.

Tatsuya knew that this sight would become all too familiar in the future, when he would have to step onto the battlefield and fight his way through enemies.

His resolve had only strengthened, even though they were enemies... Seing their bodies sliced up he knew that to prevent such fate doesn't befall him or any of his loved ones he had to definitely become stronger.

"We should keep moving, unless we want their comrades to come and find us," Aina commanded, as she scooped me up again onto her back.

"Yes, but Lady Aina, isn't it better for us to return to the Senju territory? It's closer, and we don't have any idea who leaked our information about our movements," the leading guard asked, his tone laced with concern. Although they all had sustained a few injuries, none of them questioned or asked her for rest.

"No... We move forward," she commanded, her tone firm and final.

The guard responded, "As you wish, my lady."

Pov :- Tatsuya senju

The entourage jogged away from the scene, leaping from tree to tree. As we moved, Aina asked, "So, little Tatsuya, what was that?"

"What do you mean, Mom?" I sounded awkwardly confused, unsure why she was asking me this question.

"How did you know that the earth jutsu and water-based jutsu had been released, even when there were no enemy movements?" she asked, her tone acute and sincere.

I thought to myself, 'Oh, that's why she's asking me this... Even the guards are gazing at me curiously.' Before explaining, I took a deep breath.

"Well, Mom, truthfully, I have no idea, but it seems like I can see the chakra flow outside a human body, even when they've already dispersed their chakra to control the varying elements to form jutsu. I discovered it a year back, when Elder Brothers and Father were sparring... But at that time, I thought it wasn't a big thing, so I didn't report it back to you."

"A kekkei genkai?" she whispered, more to herself than to anyone else, but everyone seemed to have reached a similar conclusion.

"And how were you able to tell what nature of jutsu was actually launched?" she asked curiously, her eyes shining with pride as she gazed at me.

"Well, it was more like I could discern the nature of chakra released when it's converted to execute a particular jutsu... Like, if someone tries to stand on water, it's pretty normal, like a blue... How, at least, I think chakra is in its predetermined state, as for determining chakra nature, I can see blue for water based , red for fire, type of purple or blackish for lightening, brown for earth and light green wave type for wind related jutsus. " I continued explaining, trying to ease my mother's curiosity.

"Hmm... Though it doesn't seem like much, maybe it's just in the developing phase... It's more like a perception type... Ah, yes, like Kagura's Mind Eye, second version... or something like that," she tried to explain, her eyes sparkling with understanding.

"I don't know. Mom ...But Mom, what is Kagura's Mind Eye?" I asked, feigning ignorance, knowing the answer fully well, but wanting to make sure others thought this was the first time I'd heard about this particular kekkei genkai.

"Well, it's a kekkei genkai of the Uzumaki clan... Few people are actually able to master it to a phenomenal degree. The Mind's Eye of the Kagura is a technique that allows one to sense chakra from exceptional distances in great detail."

"Even I haven't got a complete grasp on it... That's why I couldn't actually detect when the shinobi of the Momochi clan attacked us," she explained, her eyes gleaming with intensity.

"Some people, like your uncle Ashina, can sense anyone within twenty kilo meters. It's like a completely involuntary action for him. While I'll have to first activate it, then check for the surroundings. Right now, I can sense up to seven kilo meters. Mine is more voluntary," she continued, explaining the intricacies of Kagura's Mind Eye.

" Listening to that, I doubt mine is particularly related to kagura's mind eye... It seems like something else" I tried reasoning with her... Trying to explain that it was nothing like the kagura's mind eye.

"Hmm you are right.... When we reach land of whirpools, you better tell me everything about it.. And if I see that is something advantageous at early stages then we might as well start your training frm the age of three" She told me.. While continuing to move forward.

" Ok mom... I'm sleepy.... I think.. " Although excited about hearing the commencing of my training at the early age of three, fatigue still hit me hard , I think it's because I tried to concentrate hard to see the flow of chakra during the attack.

Within no time I went to have a trip of dreamlands knowing that I was resting at the safest spot in this world, that is on my mother's back.
