I WILL NOY APOLOGIZE TO ANYONE EXCEPT YOU

"But let me warn you from before, it is not very family oriented. Hihi." Dove said, before she went on scrolling her phone even more.

"Let it be, Dove." It was then that Mr Davis spoke stopping her from showing what she intended to show. He could already tell from her confidence and the way that his son has lost all colours from his face, that whatever Dove was showing was the truth.

And what she wanted to show more would really be even more embarrassing. And he looked at Senior Sterling and Mr Davis did not want to lose more face in front of Senior Sterling. Moreover, when they had come here with the completely opposite intention.

Dove raised her eyebrows with a small smile on her lips before shaking her head, "No, no. How can I do that Mr Davis. Your dear son, doesn't believe it himself. I need to prove him." She said before her eyes fell on Roan, before her gaze darkened, and she said with that smile still on her face, "If I were you Roan, i would have acted smart and accepted my doings. Any way, since you are asking for it. I would just give you~"

"No!" The next second, It was Roan who exclaimed as he stretched his hand out a little. And when all the eyes in the room fell on him, he gritted his teeth internally, while he slowly lowered his hand.

Roan casted his eyes down, as his hands turned into fists, before he took a deep breath and he finally confessed from his own mouth, "Yes. Whatever Dove is saying is true." And when he said that, every other person in the room, had their eyebrows raising and eyes go wide.

Nora and Mrs Davis covered their mouths and gasped. Cora Davis still had that trust that her son wasn't lying. And Nora, who wasn't as much shocked, but she still gasped, just to show that she really 'cared' about Roan and couldn't believe it.

And hearing that Dove smirked. That's more like it.

She then ignored them all, and walked towards her grandfather who was sitting in his main chair and was observing them all, silently until now.

She sat down, kneeling near his leg and looked at him, as her demeanor softened, "Grandpa, it is all like this. If you tell me that I made a mistake? Alright, I will accept it while heartedly, and I will apologise to you for it. But you are the only one who deserves to hear me apologizing about it. Not any of the rest." Dove said as her eyes roamed over the other people in the room.

And though she did not show it on her face, but she swallowed the bitter and painful lump down her throat.

"I wasn't in the right state of mind. So it happened what happened. But Roan? He was very clear and willing of everything, isn't? I wouldn't ever apologize to anyone here."

She whispered the last line with bitterness in her voice.

She never expected anything from her step mother, or step brother, or even much from that girl Nora.

But Mr and Mrs Davis, they were still kind to her all this years. Even Roan showed that he was very kind to her and would always support her.

She never really had any romantic feelings for him, but he was still good to her. Even when she came to know about him having flings and sleeping around, she wasn't really hurt. As she wasn't invested in the engagement much.

She just wanted to deal with it peacefully, and wanted to keep the relationship friendly. But everyone just showed how cruel they could be with her.

She could leave what Roan did, but Mr and Mrs Davis? Never did once did they try to trust her! Or even ask her once to clarify what had happen?

Dove was hurt by that.
