Also, Dove very well understood their intentions while behaving in that manner with her. The way they addressed her and cornered her at once, she wasn't born yesterday to not know what they were having in their minds.

Dove understood that, what happened with her was wrong. But Roan and Nora? They were also not so pure to pass such judgements without hearing anything from her first. Especially, when Roan had himself done so many things behind her back.

Dove did want to end things in a bad note. But at this point, she just couldn't care. What she wanted now was to savs her dignity in her own eyes. And that she could only do by being the bad person.

Elder Sterling looked at his granddaughter, and he could clearly see the fire in her eyes of dislike in her eyes towards them. And his own gaze softened a little.

Just then Freya's voice was heard after their respective shocks subsided. And she said, "But he is a man, Dove. And you are a woman. And that too who just recently reached consentable age. It is a different matter between both of you." And hearing such absurd thing, Dove almost scoffed and laughed.

What else would she even expect from this woman? She tsked in her mind.

Then, seeing that Freya was the one who started it again, Roan too tried playing one last chance. Who knows?

And he said with a heavy voice. "Dove, I know I am in the wrong. But before I got involved with those women, I tried getting close to you so many times. You were my fiancee, Dove! Someone promised to me!

But you wouldn't even let me close to you! You wouldn't even allow me to kiss you! Why wouldn't I be mad, when I see you in someone else's arms!" Roan tired to play with words. "I am also a man, Dove! I have needs!"

Feeling that her son has a point, Cara Davis was soon to jump into the conversation again to fight for her son. And she said, "Exactly! My son is in his prime! He looks good, is young, successful and everything a woman can ask for! If you get a chance and don't want to accept it! What do you expect from him? Doesn't he have any needs!

And what did you do? You too slept with a man! Hah! A wild man! You too chose him over your fiance!"

Dove right now saw him as a mother chicken quacking around with her little chicks.

After hearing their words, Dove almost felt like her ears would bleed. And she scoffed in disbelief. "You people? How audacious you all are!"

She shook her head, "Do you know there is a limit being shameless? Are you hearing your words?" Even Elder Sterling's face turned cold. While, Mr Davis pressed his lips with a big frown on his face looking at his Son and wife with displeasure on his face.

Why didn't he ever know before that his son and wife both lacked common sense!

"First of all, Roan, you have started you affairs a couple of years ago, if I am not wrong! And secondly, didn't Step Mom, and Aunt Cara already say that I just reached my consentable age a few months ago?

Then you are now telling me that I didn't even let you near me, so you went out and cheated and slept around?

Am I responsible for that? What were you planning, Roan? Did you want to sleep with a minor now?" Her first set of words already put them off.

Then she looked at Cara and said again, "And then, Aunt Davis, you are telling me that, I did the same and spent a night with someone else, other than my fiance? Then what should I do? Spent a night with your son, even when I have someone else whom I like? And even after knowing that he is going around warming every woman's bed?

If I man does something, then you say that he has needs. And if a woman does that, then she is characterless? It makes me wonder, that does a woman not have needs or does a man not have a character?!"
