--WSA 2025 ENTRY--



A young man from a world blissfully devoid of magic transmigrated into fantasy novel that consumed his childhood. But reality is a lot less glamorous than fiction. He’s not the destined hero or even the sidekick. No, he was a nameless "extra" Kain Nightshade.



Armed with only the faintest recollection of the novel's plot, Kain has no idea what to expect. He’s just there, and in a world that thrives on destiny, being “just there” is a guaranteed ticket to the bottom of the food chain.



But he wasn't the only anomaly in the novel. The whole world had been warped, twisted from its original design.



Well, let’s see what happens when the 'extra' starts rewriting the script.'



It’s a dangerous world, and Kain’s not here for a tragic death or a heroic arc. He’s here for one thing: survival. No need to become a legend, no need for power. he was just an extra with the supremacy to carve out his own path, rewrite his own fate, and maybe, just maybe, come out on top when the dust settles.
