I started this with zero expectations, the Main character seemed like an extremely cautious doormat. But then you’d realize that how many characters realize they’ve got one life, how many authors make their characters take the safer option, safer options don’t make a great story, but here I stand corrected. His family seemed interesting initially, I actually expected them to fall into the background considering them as filler characters, but the author proved me wrong by making them relevant. Moving on in the chapters and I realized why most authors make family irrelevant, they were annoying to a Tee, but if you closed your eyes and your heart to it I’d take you as a poor reader. When has family never been annoying and up in your business, the vagueness between him and his aunt was an unwelcome surprise but I appreciate how the author handled it. His interactions with people seem a bit scattered but if you look closely there’s a methodology to it all, scared out of his depths boy doing all he can and making things up as he goes. Unpredictability is the greatest genius and knowing how to swim in chaos is the way to heaven 10/10 characters design Now on the power system, the author seemed to use a curiously familiar name to those in the know 😉 Cursed Energy, but it also seemed like a familiar mix of other systems like: the ultimate evolution and a regular gamer system. It involves his default talent which seems to be a novel breaker but the author handled that perfectly. A couple of other self growth methods which weren’t necessarily seen through properly other than their artifact refining one and a body refinement which was dabbled in. And the power ranking seemed solid, I was just a bit miffed other curse users seem to be able to leapfrog the power ranking like him, although due to various factors. 7/10 power rating The world background was stark if I’d say, it seemed to follow the methodology of building around the plot. So the “world of curses” would forever be a mystery till it’s needed I’m banking on a separate dimension of some sort, already something like that is being introduced but I doubt that’s all there is to it. Interesting overall, now if only there were names to places and distance covered that would scratch my itch Oh and the author seems to finally start talking about the other countries, maybe some of them would later be introduced 9/10 world background My only problem here is everything seems to be happening too fast. I think it’s barely been 3 months, there’s no set timeline for anything and I’ve got to guess all through. And for you harem lovers, I’d pray for mercy on your souls. All in all Good job author-san. You deserve it. P.S I didn’t talk about any other thing here cause it’ll just be spoilers, so y’all should try it.

Bruh MCs family is just extremely annoying and with extreme I mean I would spam this Novel with hundreds of 1 star reviews if Inha nothing better to do. The Author makes the MCs family so annoying that I would love to have them all except the only cool dude so far (MCs dad) be killed and feed to dogs. Bruh the Mother just keeps having fantasies about how her son is making moves against Girls especially if they are related by family and then is blaming the Mc to not have those thoughts. While every other Girl in Mcs famil direct ir indirect act like Wh0res literally. His Step Aunt sees Mc half nacked and teases him while smiling weirdly while turning around and her younger sister os literally trying to grab his d***manhood and then we see MCs mother thinking and blaming the Mc to not make moves on his step aunts younger sister. This Novel is filled with brainde@th character I lost many braincells.

Writing is good aloug with the updates. I’m being harsh but the story grows then flounders really fast. You think your getting adventure then the mc refuses to leave his home for fear of a rouge curse user messing up his family. You think it’s harem(which I dislike) but it is 100 yr olds playing will they won’t they with children. it’s feels extremely forced because why are you flirting with children as 100+ years old like grow up you horn ball. Then you got the action which has bland ultra easy infiltrations, crypto scams, deep fakes that you know can’t fail to the end games war scenes that you also know won’t end in a loss cause the story ain’t deep like that. like pick a lane Urban fantasy harem or urban dark fantasy because this story is suffering from a identity crisis.

The title seemed very Japanese (bad) to me in terms of "this one wants to be informative" So honestly I read it out of inertia due to the central work of the car "... Card Apprentice", so I think it will be difficult for you to attract public. But it is certainly an engaging story and the author generally knows how to handle good lore and power systems. Something that I think could attract an audience would be to change the word toy on the final cover and that screen does not match. Additionally, I have always wondered if the author plans to have a Discord since, for better and worse, this interaction at least helps readers to be attentive to updates and even more so when they do not have fixed updates like currently.
