Chapter 9: Adventurer Team [Four Armaments]

Lyle had no intention of sitting around waiting here foolishly.

Seated at the farthest edge of the arena, he had no idea how long it would take for his turn to leave. Even then, it would take approximately twenty minutes to exit the massive ancient coliseum.

The recently concluded duel between Gazef and Brain had utterly amazed the spectators, leaving them in awe. As a result, even now, the intensity of the discussions hadn't diminished; instead, it grew livelier as the crowd gradually dispersed.

Lyle thought that leaving the crowded arena would allow him to catch his breath. Yet, when he exited the arena gates, he discovered that an even larger crowd had gathered outside.

It was clear!

These people couldn't afford to enter the arena but were still eager to learn the outcome. Both Gazef and Brain had vast numbers of supporters.

This was the first time since the establishment of the Imperial Judgment that a final duel had no involvement of nobles—only two commoners. While this might have been considered humiliating by the nobles, it was the exact opposite for the commoners.

"Look! It's the Red Drop!"

Suddenly, a voice exclaimed from the crowd.

The next moment!

The flow of people around Lyle, which was relatively spacious, suddenly became congested. Everyone hurriedly made way, opening a wide path for a group of individuals.

Red Drop?

Lyle raised an eyebrow, glancing toward the path opened by the crowd and the figure walking at its forefront.

The first thing that caught his eye was someone with shoulder-length pale golden hair, red-colored bangs framing their forehead.

This person wore a black jacket over what resembled a noble's crimson formal shirt and paired it with silver-black trousers. They exuded an aura of elegance and composure, occasionally waving to the crowd on either side, eliciting cheers from the women. Their demeanor was somewhat ostentatious.

Azuth Aindra!

As Lyle thought of this name, his expression grew solemn.

Azuth Aindra was the leader of Red Drop, one of the only two adamantite-ranked adventurer teams in the Re-Estize Kingdom. He was also a noble, holding the title of "Knight."

Lyle's gaze shifted to the four figures trailing behind Azuth Aindra. They were likely members of Red Drop.

One was a stern-looking middle-aged man clad in silver armor, carrying an enormous greatsword on his back.

Another was a mage dressed in light blue robes, with no staff in hand, completely shrouded in oversized garments. Only their masculine build was discernible.

The remaining two were also men.

One wielded a bow emanating a faint gray glow, while the other, shorter in stature and wearing unremarkable attire, seemed entirely ordinary. At first glance, it was impossible to determine their profession.

However, common sense dictated that the more inconspicuous someone appeared, the more dangerous they often were.

Lyle suspected this person might be a thief. Still, it was unclear whether all these individuals constituted the entirety of this team.

Red Drop remained a mysterious group. Whether in animation or novels, only the team leader, Azuth Aindra, had ever been depicted.

Lyle hadn't expected to encounter the other members here.

More than the others, his focus lingered on Azuth Aindra.

While he couldn't gauge the strength of the rest, he speculated that none had reached the Hero level, meaning they weren't above Level 29.

The real danger came from Azuth Aindra!

His personal strength wasn't significant; in fact, he was the weakest in Red Drop. Yet, he was the core of the team.

This wasn't due to his noble status but because of his possession of a Power Suit—a piece of gear roughly at Level 51.

This Power Suit elevated Azuth Aindra, transforming him from an average fighter into one of humanity's top-tier warriors.

"A Power Suit is something this world's inhabitants can never create. It must be a legacy left by the Players," Lyle thought to himself, lowering his gaze.

"Whether it originated from the Six Gods, the Eight Greed Kings, or the leader of the Thirteen Heroes, only Azuth himself would know."

Aside from Azuth, another individual possessing a Power Suit was the Platinum Dragon Lord. His suit, at approximately Level 85, was far superior.

The Platinum Dragon Lord's holdings weren't limited to a Power Suit. Several other Dragon Lords also held the Players' legacies and were well aware of the existence of YGGDRASIL and its Players.

All in all, this world's depths were unfathomable.

Without the overwhelming power of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, they would likely have fallen numerous times.

As Red Drop passed through the crowd, followed by other adventurer teams, the audience erupted into cheers once more.

Lyle had initially expected to spot Blue Rose, another adamantite-ranked team, but that wasn't the case.

The newly appearing adventurer teams weren't familiar to him, possibly consisting of orichalcum- or mithril-ranked adventurers.

Clearly, the duel between Gazef and Brain had drawn the attention of many powerful individuals.

"It's time to move on—time to level up and make my mark," Lyle thought to himself, withdrawing his gaze as he prepared to leave.

But as he turned, he spotted another adventurer team approaching.

Despite having only four members, their striking presence instantly caught his attention.

Two men and two women!

Most eye-catching were the two women at the front.

One had black hair cascading down her back, piercing blue eyes, and a cold expression. She was clad head-to-toe in armor.

The other had long pink hair and wore priestly attire. However, the lower half of her outfit resembled a cheongsam, slit at the sides to reveal her black boots and stocking-clad thighs.

These two instantly captured the attention of most men present.

Lyle recognized this team.

"If I recall correctly, their name is Four Armaments. No wonder I didn't recognize them at first."

As he recalled, his gaze instinctively lingered on the pink-haired priestess, particularly her outfit, causing his brow to twitch involuntarily.

"The fashion in this world is... perplexing."

"This likely ties back to the influence of the Six Gods or the Eight Greed Kings. Player impact is evident, at least in terms of clothing."

This adventurer team would later become a mithril-ranked group, but they hadn't reached that level yet.

"The black-haired woman is unrecognizable because of her long hair," Lyle mused, his face impassive.

In the future, her hair would turn white—not due to any magical effect but because she deliberately dyed it.

Her golden roots could still be faintly discerned beneath her black locks.

The Re-Estize Kingdom primarily had blond citizens, and she dyed her hair black for the attention it garnered, boosting her team's popularity.

Later, she'd dye her hair white, a move tied to the Sorcerer King.

To gather intelligence, the Sorcerer King had formed the Dark Team, which eventually reached adamantite rank. This necessitated a name change, and "Four Armaments" was chosen to avoid taboo and foster recognition.

Lyle had his doubts about whether this team could truly reach mithril rank. But if they were capable of battling Death Knights in the future, they clearly possessed a measure of strength.

Still, neither the pink-haired priestess nor the gold-turned-black-haired warrior struck him as particularly serious individuals.

As for the two male members... they left no impression on him whatsoever.
