At this very moment—
"No!" A panicked cry rang out from the crowd.
Due to the arrival of the adventurer team, the gathered onlookers were packed tightly. Amid the commotion, a young boy, looking no older than five or six, was pushed out from the crowd.
The child stumbled directly in front of the "Four Armaments" adventurer team and fell to the ground.
He hit his arm on the pavement, the skin tearing and bleeding instantly.
"Ah… Waaahhh!"
The pain from his injured arm, the shock of being separated from the crowd, and the fear of being without his mother made the boy cry loudly.
Suddenly, something happened.
At the forefront of the group, the black-haired leader, Scama, straightened sharply.
This is a perfect opportunity!
For most adventurer teams, building a good reputation was crucial. Scama turned her head with a calm expression, intending to ask Lilynette, the pink-haired healer in their group, for help.
But before she could speak—
Lilynette had already stepped forward swiftly. The white priest's robe she wore split slightly along the sides as her long strides caused it to flutter, revealing her slender, snow-white thighs tightly wrapped in netted stockings.
The sight immediately caused murmurs of admiration and audible gulps from the crowd.
"Don't worry, little one. Let me take a look," Lilynette said gently as she knelt down, her warm smile soothing the boy.
She raised her palm over the boy's injured arm and softly chanted, "Minor Healing!"
A gentle white light radiated from her hand. Under its glow, the wound on the boy's arm healed almost instantly.
The boy, realizing the pain was gone, stopped crying. Tears still clung to the corners of his eyes as he looked up at Lilynette, who was smiling kindly at him.
"Thank you, sis—" he began to say, but his voice faltered as his eyes widened in fear.
Though she was smiling at him, the boy inexplicably found her expression somewhat terrifying.
Clink, clink.
The sound of armor shifting drew his attention.
Scama approached, her armored boots softly clinking against the ground. Bending down, she inspected the boy, at least in the eyes of the onlookers.
But in reality—
Scama leaned closer to Lilynette and whispered harshly, "You creep! Wipe that hungry look off your face. I don't want rumors about our team being associated with something as vile as 'Shotacon' spreading."
At this, Lilynette licked the corner of her lips, her rosy tongue glistening with moisture. She sighed softly, murmuring, "Unripe fruit is the best…"
The boy shuddered again, shrinking back. He didn't understand the exchange between these two women, but something about them felt ominous.
Behind them, the other two male members of the "Four Armaments" team exchanged glances, shaking their heads with synchronized sighs.
In the crowd, a middle-aged woman finally pushed her way through, panic evident on her face. She rushed toward the boy and, seeing that he was unharmed, exhaled deeply in relief.
"Thank you, thank you!" she said repeatedly, bowing deeply in gratitude.
Adventurers might not hold much influence among nobles, but among commoners, they were highly respected and admired.
Sukama and Lilynette straightened up, their faces resuming calm expressions as they waved off the gratitude. "No need to thank us," they said confidently.
Lyle, however, wasn't paying attention to this little drama anymore.
When Lilynette cast her healing spell earlier, Lyle's interface had responded.
[Skill discovered: "Minor Healing (Level 1).

["Genius" class activated. Requirements met. Transformation successful. Would you like to spend 1 skill point to learn the skill?]
Priestess?
Lyle stared at the notification on his interface, his eyes flickering with intrigue.
Without further hesitation, Lyle turned and left the area quickly, intent on finding a quiet place to sort through his thoughts.
It was midday, and the sun shone brightly overhead. From what he'd gathered earlier, it was currently around May, though the temperature felt more like the sweltering heat of June or July from his previous life.
Lyle knew that the Great Tomb of Nazarick would appear in this world in about four years, around mid-July.
Time was tight.
But he also knew better than to rush into choosing a class recklessly.
The arena, located near the royal capital, was surrounded by dense greenery, separating it from the crowded residential district outside. Viewed from above, the area looked like a lush greenbelt around the city.
Lyle found a shaded spot beneath a tree and sat down, pulling up his interface.

Having learned the healing spell, Lyle's Genius class now allowed him to branch into either the Priestess or Cleric basic classes.
The thing that truly caught his attention, however, was the Priestess class.
The name alone was significant.
In the original game, Priestess was a gender-locked class exclusively for female characters. Unlike the Cleric, which leaned toward a hybrid of combat and magic, the Priestess was a pure magic class, with its advanced form, High Priestess, offering enhanced healing bonuses.
Of course, the real surprise wasn't the magic bonus. It was the fact that Genius, as a universal class, allowed him to bypass gender restrictions.
Could this mean I've gained access to female-exclusive buffs?
If so, it might even allow him to take on unique classes that only female characters could obtain.
This opened up a world of possibilities. In the original Overlord, there were numerous special classes, such as:
•Eclipse (Ainz's class)
•Asura (Cocytus's class)
•Valkyrie (Shalltear's class)
•Apostle of Calamity (Mare's class)
•Martyr (Victim's class)
•Origin of Evil (Demiurge's class)
Even Albedo had a unique class, though its name wasn't revealed in the anime or light novel.
However, the requirements for some of these classes were daunting. Lyle dismissed a few outright:
Eclipse required mastery of all necromancer-related classes. Origin of Evil was exclusive to demonic races. Martyr was only available to angelic races.
This left options like Asura, Valkyrie, and Apostle of Calamity—all of which had less restrictive requirements.
Lyle wasn't in a hurry to decide. For now, he needed to gather more information and carefully evaluate his options.
